“So what’s your favourite ride?”
The question is simple as they walk, enjoying the calm quiet of a late night carnival. She’s already started to loosen up, relaxing as they talk and she grins when Raffi smirks at her, the unspoken clear.
“Besides that.”
It's teasing, the way she laughs. She’s used to being teased but she loves how easily Raffi laughs with her. They’ve never been too afraid of life being difficult after all. They cope well but this, here, is easier, freer, more simple.
“Well, why don’t I show you?”
Raffi suggests. They end up, unsurprisingly, on a Ferris Wheel. Seven smiles just slightly, she knows Raffi as a speed demon but she also knows that Raffi sometimes likes to take some time to relax. This, here, makes sense.
