"I'm guessing you're staying over again?" Rui mutters, going over to his closet to grab a pair of pajamas.
Tsukasa nods. "Yeah, if that's alright. I didn't bring any pajamas though," he smiles awkwardly.
"That's fine, I might have something you could borrow. I can't say it'll fit well," Rui responds, pulling out a shirt that doesn't really fit him all that well anymore and a pair of sweatpants for Tsukasa. He tosses them over to the blonde. "Sorry if it's too big or too small,"
Tsukasa shrugs. "No, it's fine, it should fit anyway. We aren't too far off from both weight and height." he mutters, taking the clothes and heading towards the bathroom.
Rui always found it strange how Tsukasa didn't feel comfortable changing infront of Rui. Well, it isnt strange, but to Rui it was. Rui just thought it'd be fine for both of them to change in front of eachother since they were dating. Although, he assumed Tsukasa just wasn't comfortable. Tsukasa didn't seem uncomfortable when Rui changed infront of him, so it confused the purple-haired boy more than ever.
He sighs, taking this as a chance to change. Rui grabs pajamas from out of his closet and quickly changes. It didn't take very long for him to change. For some reason, it took Tsukasa an oddly long time.
...
This time, it was taking longer than usual. Rui was concerned. Everything Tsukasa did confused Rui. He decides to walk over to the bathroom and knock on the door in case anything had happened.
He knocks. "Tsukasa-kun, are you alright?" Rui asks, a bit of concern centering his voice.
A small gasp comes from the other side of the door. "U-Uhm, yeah! Sorry." Tsukasa stammars.
Rui chuckles, "There's no need for an apology, it's alright. I was just concerned because you're taking a bit longer than usual."
"Everything's fine, I was just lost in my thoughts I guess," he mutters. "I'll be out in a minute, just give me a second.."
Lost in his thoughts? What could he be thinking so deeply about..?
Rui's thoughts scattered. Is he thinking about breaking up with me? No.. He wouldn't do that. Did something happen at home or school that I didn't know about?
A minute later, the door opened and Tsukasa walked out of the bathroom. He looked nervous. Rui didn't feel like mentioning it though as he felt he already asked enough questions.
They walk back to the room, Rui still having the concerned look and Tsukasa looking as nervous as ever. "So, uh, what do you want to do now..?" Tsukasa asks, looking over and up at Rui.
Rui sighs. "Uh, I don't know. It is a bit late and we have a show tomorrow so we should probably go to sleep, unless you want to do something," He says, smiling.
Tsukasa shakes his head. "I didn't have anything in mind, so that's fine.."
The two boys settle into bed, Rui holding Tsukasa in hid arms and both wrapping their legs together. "Goodnight, my star~" Rui places a small kiss on Tsukasa's head. After doing this, he noticed Tsukasa seemed a bit more stiff. Rui ignored it. He didn't want to cross any boundaries with Tsukasa.
~~~ Rui's POV ~~~
I wake up with Tsukasa still in my arms, but he was breathing oddly fast, pretty much hyperventilating.
I let go of him and sit up. He was definitely awake. "Tsukasa-kun, are you alright?" I ask, looking at him.
He sat up, or tried to and looks at me. His face was red, but not the 'flustered' kind of red, more of a fearful one. "I-" He coughs.
"Shh, it's okay." I hug him, gently resting my head on his shoulder.. Usually, that worked to calm him down, but he just tugged at me to pull away.
I blink a few times before moving away from him. What happened for him to react like this..?
He gulps, beginning to cry a bit, and even holding his chest. Tsukasa couldn't speak. It was like he tried but couldn't. "I- I can't–" he manages to say.
"You can't what, my love? What can I do to help. If you can't speak, you can write it down." I hum, going to grab a pen and paper off my desk, quickly.
He nods as I hand him the pen and paper. He quickly writes, 'I can't breathe'
"You can't breathe..?" I hesitate, trying to think what might've caused this. "Is it alright for me to lift your shirt? I want to check to see if there's any injuries or really anything." I ask, calmly.
Tsukasa doesn't give a reply. He looked stunned. He looked like he had just seen a ghost. His face turned pale before slowly nodding. He wrote almost immediately on the paper again. 'Please don't be mad.'
I wasn't sure what that meant until I lifted his shirt up and over his head and threw it onto the floor.
He was wearing a binder. His bare chest covered by a binder. But, from my knowledge, only people who are transgender wear one.. Tsukasa isn't..
..is he..?
Is that what he meant by 'please dont be mad'..?
That would mean he wore it to bed and probably wore it all throughout the day. That definitely can't be safe.
I think for a second. "Is it alright for me to take this off of you, Tsukasa-kun?" I mutter, lowering my voice a bit.
He gulps. "B-But.." He manages to get out.
"If it's taken off, it'll probably help with the pain or shortness of breath. It isn't safe to wear a binder for this long I think." I explain.
Tsukasa frowns. "Okay.."
I smile. "Thank you," I hum, gently trying to pull it off of him. I didn't expect it to be difficult to take off. Yet again, it was made to flatten your chest.
After a few tries, it finally comes off. Tsukasa gasps a bit when the cold air touched his chest. "Is that any better?" He nods, slowly dragging me into a hug.
I rest my hand on his back and hug him. "Why didn't you tell me you were trans?" I question, making sure my tone sounded kind and not mean.
"I- I thought you'd be mad at me.." he mumbles.
I kiss him before quickly pulling away. "I won't ever be mad at you, especially not for something like this. You know my friend Mizuki?"
Tsukasa nods. "They're transgender too, or at least something like that.." I say, tilting my head and grinning. "Not ever would I be angry at you for being yourself."
Silence falls between us for a couple of seconds before he begins speaking. "I understand if you want to break up because of this.. You'd probably want to date a real boy.."
My stomach dropped. "What do you mean? I'm already dating a real boy, and nothing can change that unless he says so." I tell Tsukasa, placing a hand on his cheek. "I'll love you no matter what."
Tsukasa's eyes drew tears. "But.. I‐"
"Tsukasa-kun, you're my star, and that won't ever change. I won't see you any different, trust me. I love you more than anything and me finding out you're transgender isn't as bad as you think it is. If you somehow turned into a vegetable, I would still love you, which is a lot coming from me."
He freezes, staring at me with the happiest eyes ever. "Rui.. I.. Thank you.." he smiles, still holding his chest now because of how badly it ached.
"By the way, how bad is the pain on a scale from 1-10? Ten being 'it hurts a lot' and one being 'it doesn't hurt at all'." I ask.
He thinks for a second. "Uhm.. six." he says.
I nod. "Is there anything I can do?"
Tsukasa shakes his head. "No, I don't think so.. Unless you handing me my shirt is something you can do," he laughs a bit.
"Right, sorry!" I grab his shirt and give it to him. "I'm guessing you never changed in front of me because you didn't want me to know you were trans?" I mutter.
Tsukasa nods. "Kind of, the other half of it was that I just don't feel comfortable. I don't even let Saki see me change!"
I cross my arms and chuckle. "Are you just scared I'll try something?" I smirk.
"N-No!? What's wrong with you?!" He snaps, turning his back at me.
I sigh. "Oh, don't worry, I'm not like that. I was only messing around. I'm sex repulsed anyway. The idea of it disgusts me."
He frowns, turning back to face me. "Good because im asexual." Tsukasa murmurs.
I laugh. "Hehe, got it."
