“How could you do something so stupid?!” Gar said as he marched away from the super that was following close behind him. It was a stupid thing for him to do, without least telling him about it first,
Conner put his hand on Gar’s shoulder to stop him from walking and turned him around. “Please let me just explain.”
“Conner. I support you with everything you want to do but putting yourself willingly in danger like this without at least telling me first is crossing a line.” Conner could see the hurt in his boyfriend’s eyes. The fear of being able to lose him. The world was tuned out for the pair as they stared into each other’s eyes. After a few minutes of silence, Conner was the first one to break the silence.
“Gar,” Conner said fondly as he placed a hand to hold his cheek. “Nothing bad will happen, okay? It’ll only last for a few hours. I want to know how others feel. And I can’t do that with my powers Gar. Please, I need you.” Gar hears the slight quiver in his voice. Seeing how vulnerable the other is at the moment.
Gar let out a long sigh before he gave in. “Okay. Tell me what this thing you took again was.” If Gar was going to deal with this, he needed to know as much information as possible about his boyfriend’s stupid decision.
Conner let out a small smile before starting to explain. “Batman made me these kryptonite pills, for if I ever have problems with my powers or if I wanted a break from the super hearing and stuff. He tested them out with superman and made sure there were no side effects or long-term effects. He said they would basically make me human for a few hours. No super strength, super speed, heat vision, etcetera. I want to know what it feels like to do human things Gar. Feel things that others feel. Do things that I couldn’t do with my powers.” There was a slight blush with the last statement. Gar ignored it to process everything that the super just said. Gar was confused what Conner meant by that also. What was it that Conner couldn’t do with his powers? If anything, he should be able to do anything he wants.
“I can’t say I understand what you mean, but if this is something that you want, I would rather be there for you than not.” Conner rushed in for a hug, while Gar let out a small smile at the happiness something so little could bring to someone.
They stood there for a few seconds, before Gar thought more about Conner’s earlier comment. “Conner, what is it that you want to do so badly that you can’t do with your powers?”
“I was watching a movie and there were some things in it that seemed interesting.” This was something that perked his ears. Conner has never really done anything without him knowing. Not in a creepy way, but because Conner always tells him everything that he watched or looked up. Usually, he would just ask instead of looking it up in the first place, so this was definitely out of place.
“What movie was it?” Gar was almost too scared to ask, because what if it was something like Saw and Conner wanted to do something that he thought was safe, because he couldn’t be hurt by conventional means.
Conner walked them towards his room and searched through his bookshelf looking for the movie. Gar sat down on the couch and took notice of everything in the room. Sure, he had been there many times, but it felt like there was something new every time. Conner was definitely slower without his powers. He took a solid few minutes before being able to find the DVD.
After Conner handed over the DVD, he sat in anticipation waiting for Gar’s reaction. They sat across from each other in silence as Gar’s eyes wandered the front of the DVD. To say that Gar was shocked would’ve been an understatement, as he held 50 Shades of Grey in his hands. To say that Gar didn’t think about doing this kind of stuff with Conner would be a lie. He never toyed with the thought because, as Conner had mentioned before, this was not something they could really do with his powers. “Ok.” Was the only answer that Gar let out. If he knew this earlier, he might’ve not been so brash when Conner had told him, but he couldn’t let him know that. He knew what else he would do if Gar would allow it.
“Tell me how you feel then. It worked; I assume.” Gar gestured with the DVD as an extension of his hand.
“I think so.” Conner wasn’t really himself. He didn’t want to go prick his finger or something, but he really didn’t know how else to tell. He could tell that he wasn’t super-fast like he usually is, so he assumes that everything else was turned off too.
“Good.” Gar said as stood up and strutted towards the other boy. Within a few seconds Gar was on top of Conner.
With Gar’s hands pinning Conner’s body to the couch, Gar felt something in his body that he has never felt before. Conner struggled a bit and realized that Gar was a lot stronger than he remembered. As if Gar read his mind, he could see the smirk that appeared on his soft lips. “Having a little more trouble than usual?” The green-haired boy’s aura had a much different presence than usual. It was heavier, almost suffocating, but so warm to Conner. Gar usually looked tiny compared to Conner, but this was definitely not the case at the moment.
Conner thought his boyfriend was really hot on a normal day, but he was turned on by this new Gar. He tried to lean up to try and capture the other boy’s lips but was pushed back again. He has never felt so powerless, but he was giving his power over to the person he trusted the most in the world, and that made everything okay. “A little eager, are we?” That smirk never leaves Gar’s face, tempting Conner every bit of the way. He let out a little whimper that Gar probably wouldn’t have heard if not for the deafening silence around them.
Conner needed Gar. He has never been denied by his boyfriend this much. Being so close, yet so far was something that Conner has never felt before. There was virtually nothing stopping him from feeling Gar’s lips on his own, but Gar. He was at his mercy, and despite what everyone thinks, Gar is not as merciful as you would initially believe.
Gar pushed himself off of Conner standing back up. Conner’s eyes followed Gar as he walked around the room. He could see that he was walking towards his equipment that he usually worked out with. Gar picked up the chain and swirled it around his arms a few times. Pulling on it to test the strength. Once he was satisfied with the strength of the material he walked back as it wrapped around his shoulders and arms. “This is what you wanted right? Being tied up, at my mercy?” He let out an eager nod as a response. “Good.”
Gar threw Conner over his shoulder and threw him like a sack of potatoes onto the bed. It was definitely different for Conner to be manhandled. He is not used to being dragged around like this, but it is hot to see Gar like this. Moving slowly, but surely, he was wrapped in the cold metal that was slightly hot in certain parts that Gar grabbed.
Stepping back, he looked at the masterpiece that was his boyfriend unable to move and staring longingly back at him. Gar showed his teeth with his fangs slowly licking over them. It was as if he was preparing for a delicious meal, which he was if he was being honest. Conner was able to sit up to see the way that Gar was looking at him.
“Gar?” In response, the boy let out a small growl. This was something that Conner had never seen. Sure, Gar got mad sometimes, but it never lasted long and was never directed at him.
“I'm still not over the fact that you could do something so dangerous.” The voice was calm and even, but his eyes said something else. There was a fire that was flickering, burning with an intense rage. “You know how I would feel if you got hurt!? Or worse!?” The growl was more prominent now.
Conner finally understood why humans were so scared of tigers. Not being indestructible definitely makes you question your mortality a bit more. He squirmed a bit in the chain also noticing that they pinched him in weird places. Gar grabs at the binding disregarding Conner as he drags him closer. He was enjoying the new human rag doll. It was almost like a human chew toy.
After retracting his fangs, he sunk his human canines into a soft part of Conner’s throat. “Fuck…” Conner breathlessly gasped. Immediately Gar pulls back pulling on the chain but keeping his hand on Conner’s shoulder forcing him to look at him.
“Who taught you to talk like that?” Conner was still in a different mindset, that he wasn’t really able to comprehend Gar’s question. He had a blissed blank expression on his face, which was not something that Gar appreciated.
Gar was not someone who liked being ignored. In response Gar threw Conner against the wall which caused a loud thump. Conner was already aching all over, but it wasn’t that bad. His eyes widened as Gar placed his hand in the middle of his chest causing another loud bang from the force. He let out a slight cough at the force.
“I asked you a question. Don’t make me ask again.” Gar was not happy with the speed of Conner’s response. It was one thing to make someone wait, another to have an angry shape-shifting boyfriend who could rip you to shreds, wait.
Conner didn't know how to answer the question. From Conner’s limited knowledge, telling the person who holds your life in their hands, that it is their fault, was not exactly a good choice, bringing another guy’s name into this would also probably make this situation worse, and lying would have him in the grave faster than the other two options.
Silence was the only answer that would have the best outcome, if that was even a possibility. Gar raised his knee hitting Conner directly in the groin. He wasn’t dead, which was a win, but the pain was not exactly what he expected. It was dull and radiated all around his stomach. He wanted to bend over and to make it go away, but Gar literally held his body in his hands right now.
Letting a little chuckle, Gar continued. “That’s something that is very human. Since you wanted to experience how it’s like to be a human. I’ll give you the full experience.” There was a devious glint in his eyes.
He reached down and had a firm grip around Conner’s groin again. There was fear in his eyes that fueled Gar, as if he was being charged off of it. It started off pretty light, a mild discomfort at most, but Gar doesn’t half-ass things. A few seconds passed and Conner could tell he would throw up if this continued. After what seemed like a lifetime that was only a couple seconds, Conner let out a strained cough.
“Gar.” Conner was begging with a raspy voice. “Please.” Gar was pissed to say the least. It was one thing where the other Titans hide stuff from him, but his own boyfriend was a different kind of hurt.
Leaning in closer Conner could smell the slightly sweet breath that Gar had. It would've been nice in any other situation. “I will stop when you answer my question.” His breath was warm on his face as he leaned closer to Conner’s ear.
In response to Conner’s silence Gar tightened his grip a bit more. Tears slowly fell from the pain. “I-it was… D-dick.” The moment the name came out of his mouth Gar dropped him completely. Conner curled up into a ball on the floor trying his best to ease the pain.
Gar bent down and patted Conner’s cheek making a hallowed slapping noise. “Good boy. Now that wasn’t so hard, was it?” Conner ignored everything else that was happening as the pain was still radiating throughout his body. He closed his eyes to try and focus on anything other than the pain.
Being the kind good-hearted person that Gar was he let Conner suffer on the floor before continuing onto anything else. He squatted next to him and watched his boyfriend try his best to recover. As Conner opened his eyes, he could see Gar’s eyes boring right back at him. “I am not done with you.” Gar lifted Conner again and sat him down gingerly. Very delicate considering the situation.
He leans in to grab the chain that is separating and bounding his boyfriend. He pulls at the chain to break it. As he stands and it falls, Gar is not done, however. He places his hand at the base of his throat with a single claw extended. One wrong move and this could go south very quickly, but instead of going up he went down slowly, but surely. Conner felt the cold air hit his chest as the shirt was cut to pieces.
Gar stared at Conner’s chest. It was his favorite part of Conner’s body. There was something about Conner’s chest that made him feel safe. It protected him physically, it told him that Conner was alive, it was everything that he was not able to do. Sometimes though it did more thinking than his brain, and Gar wanted to teach it a lesson.
He pinched Conner’s nipple a bit. It was a small sting, nothing that he couldn’t handle, but it was much more sensitive than before. Gar was gentle with it. That was not something that was going to last long, however.
Landing a solid punch against his chest Conner made a solid thump. Surprisingly it didn’t hurt at all. The skin that started to turn a bright shade of red, spoke a different story, however. Distracted looking at the bright red patch of skin, he didn’t see the second fist coming at his stomach. This was definitely not painless, however.
Gar will admit that Conner was much more enjoyable than a punching bag. He was much hotter and made cute noises. Gar continued, as if he was training normally. Conner was polka dotted with red marks all over his body. After a few minutes, Gar stopped catching his breath and admiring his work.
There were tears in Conner’s eyes. “Gar…please.” Conner was pleading with Gar, but he was unamused by it all. There was still a glint in Gar’s sharp glare. “Gar?” If Conner didn’t know any better, he would’ve thought that his boyfriend was taken over by another being, but behind the aggression was still the loveable goofball of a boyfriend.
Conner felt something warm grow inside of him, even as the bruises on his skin started to bloom. Gar was so confident and in control, without anything else distracting him. He wasn’t worried about not being good enough or feeling useless that Conner could sometimes see on quieter days. He would do anything for Gar to make him feel like this. When Gar had his hands on him, he could forget everything. His creation, his regrets, his pain, because the physical pain blocked the emotional strain that he wasn’t able to push away all the time.
“I love you.” It was barely above a whisper, but Gar leaned in once Conner started beginning. He felt the words against his skin. For a fraction of a second, Gar’s resolve melted at the words. It wasn’t the time for sweet words and comfort. He could see that Conner needed this and very deep down he needed this too.
Gar stepped back and looked at Conner, ignoring the previous statement. Conner looked at him with a fond smile and tears dried on his cheek and eyes a bit red. In a quick motion Gar engulfed Conner in a hug. He was still sore all around, but he welcomed Gar’s body.
Conner felt weak from holding himself up for so long. Gravity took over and collapsed into Gar’s arms. He gently placed Conner into the bed trying to make him as comfortable as possible. “I love you too, Conner.”
Gar stroked Conner’s hair as he touched the many different bruises around his body. “And they said it’s hard to top a super.” Gar scoffed to himself. Conner seemed pretty out of it but was holding up quite well considering that this was his first time. There was a conversation that they needed to have, but it was not something that either of them was in the right mind set at the moment.
