Later Kate would wonder what lead them here, but for now she’s more than happy to sign the papers to join Rhonda in her new home. Val and Earl had been wanting them both safe and she had to admit being left here with Rhonda she would be safe and happy enough.
Later, much later, the crinkled papers they had found in the home had been framed. They had found the older Gummer house, had somehow managed to buy it and move in, now they had proof. The papers, later, would prove a source of amusement when Burt saw them, but for now, for now it was enough to be safe and loved.
