The castle entrance was as magnificent as ever. What Cellbit had done with the construction was incredible. He was glad he liked it so much and was back to see what his son-in-law had added. Foolish was excited to find out, Cellbit was the master of interior design unlike him.
He rediscovered a little of the castle, a few modifications having been added to certain rooms. Cellbit wanted to show him a special room he'd added, "the paranormal room" as he called it. Foolish was obviously extremely excited and curious to see this room.
They arrived in the room, Cellbit excited. The red lanterns lit up the room and a magic symbol traced in white on the floor. It was surely a very special, strange room, but he liked it and the tour wasn't over.
Cellbit showed him that each circle on the seal would lead to a different room and that he wanted to show him a specific one, the only one he had finished, "the Blood room". They stood on the circle and teleported into the room. As they stepped inside, Foolish could feel a strange, familiar energy emanating from the room. Those long red vines on the ceiling brought back nothing but bad memories. But the excitement of his son-in-law, his daughter at his side and the sound of the capybaras made him slightly forget about the plants demanding fresh blood. Besides, Foolish was the type to laugh at important or sad moments to cope. He laughed, trying to forget his awful memories and spend some quality time with his family. He certainly didn't want to ruin the moment and Cellbit's excitement.
The visit came to an end and Foolish left with Leo for Hogar. They entered the tower and climbed to the top floor. They went to Leo's room quietly, making sure to not wake up Vegetta, who was sleeping on the other side of the room. He tucked his daughter into bed and sang her a lullaby (Pac e Mike). Once the little egg was asleep, Foolish left the room and crossed to his boyfriend's bedroom. He moved slowly around the room, trying to be as quiet as possible. He lay down on the bed, his weight causing it to creak slightly. He glanced at Vegetta to make sure he hadn't disturbed his light sleep.
Foolish leaned closer to his boyfriend's back and closed his eyes, trying to fall asleep. But he couldn't, as unwelcome memories came back. Red vines, the Egg, Bad and Antfrost on each side of him, his adoptive mother's horrified face and golden blood on the red floor, his golden blood that flowed when he lost a life.
He opened his eyes now watery and he gasped for breath. He put his hands to his neck, trying to catch his breath. But his sobs prevented him from breathing and he tried to make as little noise as possible to not wake his boyfriend, he didn't want to disturb him. His whole body was shaking and his hands tightened around his neck, scratching himself.

Vegetta was awakened by noises behind him. He slowly opened his eyes, trying to regain his senses. He felt a mass behind him and silent sobs. He turned around, expecting to find Leo awake from a nightmare. There was no little egg to be fond, but his boyfriend curled in a ball, choking on his tears. He looked at him, not knowing what to do.
He placed his hand gently on his shoulder, which startled Foolish. His emerald eyes opened quickly and he looked at him with tears in his eyes, he seemed terrified. He closed his eyes again and squeezed his neck.
"Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry..." Foolish repeated, digging his claws into his neck.
Vegetta took his hands gently to not scared him even more than he looked. "Cálmate, calm mi amor." He tried to speak to him with authority and gentleness at the same time, in rather broken English. He didn't really have the head for understanding and speaking English, but he'd make the effort for his boyfriend.
"Foolish calm, it, it's all right. Escúchame Foolish, listen to me."
The demigod opened his eyes and looked at Vegetta, sniffling. He was still shaking and breathing heavily. Tears rolled down his cheeks as he gazed at him with glowing emerald eyes.
They looked at each other for a moment before Foolish finally calmed down and began breathing more regularly. Vegetta ran a hand over his cheek to wipe away his tears. He smiled at him, and his boyfriend replied the same. He sat down and the demigod placed his head on his thighs.
"¿Estás bien? Hum, you're all right mi amor?"
"Yeah, yeah, I'm all right now, I think..."
" Do you want to talk about, um about what happens? "
" No. Not right now at least. It's kinda a long story about my past and I don't really want to talk about it... "
" Don't worry, you don't have to tell me. We, we all have different pasts that we want to hide. I understand."
" Thanks Vege. I'm sorry I woke you up."
"HE! No se disculpe, don't apologize! Sleep now mi amor."
"Te quiero mucho."
" Te quiero mucho mi Foolich. "
Vegetta ran his hand through the demigod's hair. He sat there watching over his boyfriend until he was sure he fall asleep. With Foolish fast asleep on top of him, he examined his neck. A long scar with red marks from the claws he'd just made. His boyfriend’s past intrigued him, but he couldn't force him to say anything, since he too was hiding it. And for his happy and smiling Foolish to be in such a state must have been something really important. He wasn't there to investigate his past, but he was there to look after him. He lay back down and took his boyfriend in his arms. Vegetta kissed his forehead and held Foolish close. He fell asleep again, watching over his boyfriend for the rest of the night.
