AU in which Miles gets knocked up with Mafia Boss Miguel's child after spending the Alpha's Rut with him. He went into hiding with the help of his parents, going back to his mom's ancestral home and making a new life there. Both he and their son, Aaron Jr, have a peaceful life, not knowing that Miguel was looking for them hell and back. Miles had the scar on his neck to prove he had been marked by Miguel as his mate - but the Bond was still incomplete due to Miles not marking Miguel back.
Miles knew that Miguel would find them one day, that fact was inevitable, and due to that he had contingencies in place. So when he got a call from his father that Miguel had found where they were, he got the emergency bags and carried his son and made a move to run out of the house - only to come face to face with a bemused Miguel the moment he opened the door. Of course he tried to turn around and run out, by Miguel grabbed him - wrapped his arm around Miles' body and caged him.
"Found you, Mi Amor." He whispered in Miles' ear.
