"Beep beep beep!" the alarm clock rang out.
"Nine thirty?" Zoro yawned shutting the annoying device off. Why in the world would he want to wake up at nine-thirty on a Saturday? Thinking that it was probably a mistake he rolled over and drifted back off to sleep. "Oh shoot!" His eyes popped wide open and he slung the blanket off of him "The play date"
Koby and Luffy were supposed to be having a play date today and he wasn't about to listen to that stupid cook nagging him again about never being on time. He threw on the nearest shirt he could find and rushed down the hall.
"A map" The kid replied hopefully.
"They only live two roads down" Zoro scoffed tossing the paper in the trash "I'll be fine" Koby sighed in defeat as he followed Zoro out to the car knowing this would be another forty-minute ride to somewhere only five minutes away.
Meanwhile
"Who wants another round of pancakes?" Sanji asked flipping a pancake out of the pan and onto the stack next to him perfectly.
"Me!!!" Luffy smiled dramatically waving his hand back and forth from the kitchen table.
"Sure thing champ" Sanji smiled placing one on Luffys plate. Luffy grinned stuffing the whole thing in his mouth.
"Are you ready for your play date?" Nami asked looking over at Luffy.
"Yeah we're going to watch Pirates of the Caribbean" Luffy answered with a mouth full of pancakes. The Pirates of the Caribbeans were Luffy's favorite movies. Actually, any movie with Pirates was Luffy's favorite.
"That's good did you remember to feed Merry?" She asked.
"Oops!" Luffy's eyes got big as he leaped off the chair and dashed down the hall.
"That kid" Nami chuckled rolling her eyes before turning around to Senji who was cleaning dishes "Hey Sanji can you put out some drinks for us and Zoro?"
"Why does that moss head have to come here anyway?" Sanji grumbled pulling out two nice glasses and a coffee mug.
"Because he's Koby's dad and Koby is Luffy's best friend" Nami reminded him "and he did take Luffy to school the other day"
"He dropped him off at the wrong school" he pointed out.
"Yeah but he did that to Luffy too" she shrugged.
