Work Text:

It's Wednesday and Plave is on their day off, no schedule to scratch out. Hamin has been lying here on the sofa and staring at the ceiling for ten minutes straight. He can't afford to continue being like this for another ten minutes. So, he decides to disturb the other four.

. . .

"Bonggu dear, we are back~ We bought strawberry cake and we got some pizza too on our way home. Just the local ones though, but do come join us downstairs if you want, okay?" Bamby is playing his Nintendo Switch inside his bedroom when his mom knocks the door and announces her arrival. His parents are always so busy with business trip, and today they just arrived home from the two weeks trip in Italy.

Oh! They're back. "Welcome home, mom~! Will join you guys later~" Bamby answers from inside the room before turning around in the bed, now lying on his stomach. He sighs, today is so boring. Maybe he should just say yes when his high school friends offered him the ticket for the new launched amusement park. He puts aside his Nintendo and unplugs his charging phone. Did those guys post any photos of them having fun at the park in their group chat? Who the hell going to such place during weekdays though?!?? Bamby unlocks his phone to check the group chat.

That's when the phone suddenly rings and he flinches, nearly throws it away in surprised. An incoming video call? A familiar contact ID appears on the screen; Hamean

Bamby lifts up an eyebrow with a little smirk on face. Look who's here so sudden~ Then, he swipes his thumb over the screen and answers the call. Hamin appears on screen right away, sitting on a couch in his gray hoodie and fingers running through the disheveled hair. Oh. Plave has a really handsome maknae. The hottest maknae. Wait- what? Get a grip, Chae Bonggu!! He clears his throat to quickly get rid of his thoughts and greets the younger guy on the other end of the line.

"Oh. Hamin-ah."

This isn't the first time Hamin ever contacts him first, yet it still makes him feel giddy inside every time. It's whether he's bored or wanting to discuss something important related to Plave. Whichever, Bamby just think it's cute that Hamin gives it a thought to contact him first. He wonders if he's on Hamin's speed dial too. If yes, at what number?

"Hyung..." There you go. The infamous pout that Bamby most of the time sometimes wants to kiss away. "I'm bored." Hamin strokes his own hair again, Bamby lowkey wishes he can stop doing that thing with his hair because his eyes can't stop staring. The hair seems a bit longer than before now, looking smoother and soft, Bamby kinda like to run his fingers through those shiny black locks. The color is so pretty.

Oh. Isn't it just our default hair colour we were born with though. Bamby mentally facepalms at himself for thinking everything looks good when it comes to Hamin. The other day during 100 days Plave livestream with Hamin and Noah hyung, he even answered black when he was being asked what hair colour he wanted to try. It looks pretty on Hamin, so he wondered if he would look as good as that too if he tried the color again.

Hopefully no one noticed how obvious I was that time. Bamby thinks and mentally sighs. He grabs a bottle of drinking water from the bedside table, opens the cap and chugs it down. At least it works to distract himself from keep staring at that black hair.

"Can I come over tonight?" Hamin blurts out after a brief pause. He startles as the older one nearly chokes on the water he's drinking. What? What? Was it what I said? "Hyung-?" He slightly tilts his head like a confused puppy.

"My place?!" Luckily Bamby still manages to respond after those seconds of dying. What do you mean coming over tonight?? "F-For what?" Oh I mean, I won't mind at all of course but.. "My parents are home." This is for sure not the first time Hamin ever gives him a call, but this is definitely the first time asking if he can come over. For what? Does it involve any inappropriate thing? Be specific. Inappropriate like what? Be more specific! Bamby's mind goes wild, overthinking over that one interrogative sentence.

Hamin falls on the couch, lying on his back now and an arm is resting over his forehead. "To talk about choreo idea for our next comeback." He replies.

Oh.

OH.

Bamby feels like punching the wall beside him now, because he shouldn't punch anyone else. He's the one who gets his own hopes up, nobody to blame but himself. "O-Oh..." He must sounds so lame right now. That's so him. I wanna talk about something else though. This brat. A low huff escapes his pink plum lips.

"Can I?" Hamin asks again, a bit hesitant this time. He notices how the pink haired one on the screen turns a bit gloomy. Or is it just me? Just now Bamby clearly looked... happy? The glint of excitement in his eyes is nowhere to be seen now. Was it what I said again? Why am I keep messed up today.

"No. I'm busy today." Bamby replies sternly.

Definitely the thing that I said. Hamin thinks, but then wonders what makes the older one unhappy about sharing choreo idea together. Isn't that what they've been doing together this whole time before though? Spending hours in the practice room to choreographing, just the two of them. It makes Bamby unhappy? Hamin gulps. "Hyung is mad?"

"No."

"Then why-"

"I said I'm busy today. Find someone else to play with you." Bamby absentmindedly pouts, the habit when he sulks or sad.

Of course Hamin knows this too. Compared to the other members, he realises that he knows Bamby for the shortest time, but he doesn't mind because he can keep learning things about this cute hyung. One of them is this adorable habit when he's unsatisfied with something. He pouts and his eyebrows furrow like an angry puppy. But why? What makes him unhappy right now? He's still learning little by little about Bamby, he wishes he can just read what's going on in that tiny head. So, he won't hurt him like this.

"Well, if nothing else, I need to hang up now."

"Wait! H-Hyung..."

"What else?"

"... um, happy birthday in advance."

"This is your second time wishing my birthday."

"I know." It's a shame... I wished I could get to know you sooner, hyung. I want to be the first for you in everything. Ah.. since when did I become this greedy.

Guilt washes over Bamby now as he notices the sad expression on Hamin's face. Why do I suddenly direct my anger at him though? It's my fault for hoping so much. My fault for having this feeling. None of these is his fault. At last, he gives the younger a smile. An apologetic one, yet soft enough to soothe whatever Hamin is feeling at the moment. "Thank you, Hamin ah."

Hamin is dumbstruck at the sight. He never tells anyone but Bamby's smile is his favourite. He wishes he can tell him that. But what if he gets weird out by it? Hamin breaks into a small chuckle and nods. He feels more relieved after seeing the smile as he thought he has messed things up so badly. Nodding twice, Hamin changes his position on the couch again, now sitting.

"Oh, btw hyung, that braid... looking good on you." He says with a grin, dashing as ever. He noticed the braid when Bamby was turning his head to the side to take his water bottle earlier. "So pretty." He adds and that's how they end the call for the evening.

Silence.

A blank phone screen, a sudden silence in the room, and a heart that's beating too fast it can beat the popular artists' fastest sold out concert ticket record. Because what was that just now? The sudden compliment?? The braid??? Looking pretty??!?? On me?!??!!??

"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT JUST NOW??!???!!?" He buries his blushed face in the pillow he's hugging and screams his heart out, almost can't believe what he just heard from the younger. Cute is normal, but he called me pretty. Should I braid my hair for the next time we choreograph together? Oh.. he's down bad.

After calming himself down for another minutes, he takes his phone again and this time to quickly type something on their fancafe, to brag announce about Hamin giving him a call just because he's bored. What's this superior feeling though, so silly.

<Haminnie called me to say he was bored.>

He lets out a contented sigh with a stupid smile on his cute face, eyes staring at the white ceiling above him. Even if this foreign feeling is one-sided, he thinks it's okay as long as Hamin is comfortable to be around him just like now.

Not so long after, he receives a reply to his post on the fancafe. Oh? Eunho ya! He presses his own lips into a thin line, trying to hold back his smile after reading the short reply. Eunho congratulates him. Bingo. The red eyed male knows about it. Only him among the members actually knows about this. They have been friends for so long, so they aren't supposed to keep any secret between each other. Bamby believes in Eunho and so does Eunho.

"He won't know if you don't tell him though." The younger once said when Bamby told him about his feeling.

"But it's embarrassing to let him know. Let him figure things out by himself."

Eunho rolled his eyes at that. Everyone knew how oblivious Hamin could be. Yes, that guy was a genius in many aspects, but not in this kind of matter.

"Are you sure? You've given him countless hints and signs all this time, yet he catches nothing. We even planned to play pretend to see his reaction, to make him jealous or something, then what? He really thought we're a thing. That oblivious arse, I swear!" Things were so frustrating even for Eunho. Bamby had to laugh looking at his dear best friend got emotional over this matter.

"It's okay.. because what if... he's actually just pretending like he never notices those signs I give? Doesn't it mean he indirectly rejects me?" Bamby shrugged and smiled sadly. The sadness in his eyes, Eunho couldn't stand the sight.

"Don't give up, hyung. I'm rooting for you! The time will come. You believe that, right?"

"Not sure."

"I believe, so you should too."

Bamby inhaled sharply and exhaled before nodding. "Okay."

Seeing Bamby proudly brags about getting a call from Hamin, Eunho feels like a proud mom seeing a progress. He congratulates him right away, still, he doubts Hamin will notice anything though. So frustrating just to think about it.

However, Bamby's happiness doesn't even last long because the next second he notices Noah's similar post.

<Haminnie gave me a call too.>

Oh. What sound is this? Sounds like a mirror shattered and broken into pieces? Yes. Not a mirror though. More like someone's heart.

Bamby exhales and lets out a sarcastic laughter. Why does it feel like the whole universe is mocking and laughing at him now? Of course he's just another hyung in Hamin's eyes.

Fine. He thinks. I'm just his another hyung. He wants me to just act like a mere older brother, then fine! I will fcking act like one!

Then, he springs out of bed and stomps his feet as he leaves his room, heading downstairs and straight into the dining room where his parents are still enjoying their dinner.

"Honey~ Take a seat. Pizza or cake, which one first?" His mom greets him cheerfully. It's great to see her son again after being away for weeks.

Bamby huffs and takes his seat opposite to the other two. "Anything. Just give me anything! I want to eat all until I forget everything!" He exclaims and shuts his eyes tightly, shocking his parents somehow.

"Oh my god- what's wrong, dear? Why are you crying?!"

"I- I'm not- I'm not cryingggg!" His words don't even match his action because tears are clearly streaming down his face now. "Why is it so painful?" He ends up sobbing while shoving half of the pizza into his mouth, munching grumpily. That big idiot. I hate him!

. . .

Life is truly like a roller coaster ride of emotion for a Chae Bongby, because months later, something unexpected happens to him.

"Can I come over tonight?"

Not again. Bamby thinks, holding back the urge to roll his eyes aggressively. This feels like a deja vu. Will he end up crying again just like last time?

"No." He replies shortly. The guy from the end of the other line whines briefly as response. "What for? To talk about new choreo?" He's being sarcastic right now.

"Do you.. hate choreographing with me?" Hamin asks quietly. He sounds sad, Bamby almost can imagine the pout on that face.

Not that I hate it. Bamby wants to say that but decides to just keep it to himself. He sighs. Whatever, he thinks. Hamin gives me a call just because he's bored. If he's not, I doubt he even thinks of me.

"Okay then." At last, he gives in. "Come here. I'll wait." Today, his parents aren't home as they're on another business trip. This time, in Turkey for a week. So, maybe spending the rest of the evening at home with a little company won't be too lonely.

The clock hanging on the wall reads fifteen minutes past seven when Hamin arrives, half wet as it's raining outside. The latter dressed in simple black tee with grey sweatpants and his usual black backpack. He's so ready to work on the new choreography. Bamby mentally groans.

"Don't tell me you--"

"Yes, I forgot my umbrella."

Bamby rolls his eyes and huffs while nagging something like 'how many times do I have to tell you to leave a spare one inside your bag? Look at you now, what if you catch a cold?'

"Wait here, I'll get you a towel."

Bamby isn't taking too long to come back with a towel. Hamin spontaneously bends down a little just so the older one can reach his head. Bamby is taken aback by the casual action before he awkwardly helps drying off the damp hair using the towel. So cute when Hamin acts like a puppy.

"Have you eaten yet?" Bamby speaks again, breaking the silence. His voice sounds a bit too soft for his own liking.

"No, I was so rushed earlier. Can we order chicken, hyung?"

"Sure." Sure. Anything you want.

"Your parents aren't home?"

"Business trip."

"Isn't it lonely to be home alone?"

"...I'm used to."

"You shouldn't get used to something like this, hyung. Call me anytime if you need a company."

"Whatever." Stop caring so much. I don't wanna fall even deeper for you.

"I think I need to use the bathroom."

"Of course. Get a warm bath. I'll look for something you can wear."

Hamin hums shortly, "Thank you, hyung." He lifts up his gaze and peeks from under the towel, meeting Bamby's. A mesmerizing smile that Bamby personally thinks is very unnecessary.

The older one is the first to break the eye contact before his own face changes its color against his will. He pulls back his hands from the towel that's still on Hamin's head. Play cool, Chae Bonggu. Play cool. He clears his throat and leaves the doorstep. "Bathroom is over there, the right side." He half shouts while heading upstairs.

"Got it!" Hamin answers at similar volume.

Bamby sighs for the nth times, fingers lightly give his nose bridge a massage. It's hard to act cool when the real thing is here looking so buffy like that and testing his sanity.

After a lot of searching, he manages to find some clothes that might fit the younger's size. He takes them with him, and goes downstairs. A loud shriek escapes his lips at the sight of shirtless Hamin standing in the middle of the living room. Only a towel wrapped around his half bottom, seems like he's done bathing. Hamin flinches a little at the loudness. A familiar one just like those when they're together with the other three Plave members, but it's still surprised him every time.

Shit. What the hell is this rascal so buffy for? Look at that toned abs and muscular limbs. What are you? A terminator??

Bamby doesn't even know where to lay his eyes on. Oh, this is awkward. This isn't even supposed to be awkward though. Fuck this cringe feeling called love!

"H-Here. Change into this." He puts the spare clothes onto a table.

"Oh thank you. Hyung, is this your younger sister?" Hamin asks, he just remembered that Bamby has a younger sibling after seeing the family photo.

"Yea. She's studying abroad, so she rarely home."

"Ah I see." Hamin keeps staring at the framed photo. So, Bamby thinks of teasing him a bit.

"Why? She's pretty, huh?"

Hamin chuckles lowly, eyes still glued on the photo. "I think, her look resembles uncle, while your look resembles aunty." He sure is the type who pays attention to such details, one of the many admirable things about him.

"Then, who's prettier between us?"

Oh crap. Bamby blurts that one out so randomly. He regrets it as soon as he said that. Great. Now, Hamin is turning around to look at him. That guys seems slightly taken aback or confused at the sudden question. Bamby mentally curses himself for asking that.

"A- Aha ha ha! What the hell. Forget it--"

"Bonggu hyung."

A silence.

Bamby gulps, scared of having his hopes up again. Don't do this to me.

"Bonggu hyung... is prettier." Hamin says again, making it more clear. Always, the prettiest one in my eyes. Not to mention, he notices the older one is having his hair braided again just like that other day.

Bamby's heart skips a beat. He never thought someone's words as simple as that could affect him this much. Seconds later, he startles and back into his sense again when someone rings the bell outside. Who? Ah, right. The chicken delivery.

"Put on your clothes. I'll get the chicken." Bamby leaves the living room.

Hamin takes the grey sweater from on top of the table, lifts it up and examines the size that obviously doesn't look like Bamby's. Whose? He puts it on, anyway. Still a lil bit small for him but maybe much better than Bamby's actual size. The pants? He's thankful for the shorts instead of something like long sweatpants because it won't be long enough for his limbs.

Bamby comes back later with a plastic of chicken and coke he ordered earlier. "Let's have our dinner~" He sets them on the table. "Can you help me get two glasses from kitchen please."

"Sure, hyung!"

Later, they eats and enjoys their dinner together while having casual conversation about nothing, it's surprisingly comfortable for Bamby more than he could imagine. Maybe he should learn to put aside his feeling just like this, so he would feel less bothered.

"Oh btw hyung, whose sweater is this?"

"Doesn't look like mine?"

"Too big for you."

Bamby laughs at Hamin's toneless voice and straight face. "Well, yea. It belongs to Eunho." He isn't sure if he's just being delusional right now or Hamin's expression does changed slightly.

"Why is his sweater here?"

"He slept over the other day." Oh, are you curious?

"So, he purposely left it behind?"

Even more question coming from the black haired guy. Bamby amusedly finds it interesting. What's going on here? He decides to take this chance to test the water.

"Yea. I told him to, because it'll be too much of a hassle to keep bringing one every time."

"Every time? How frequent? He comes over and spends the night here, is it frequent?"

"Countless time already."

Bamby gulps as he secretly observes Hamin's reaction to every of his answer. He can't read the face too well, but he can tell the younger seems... a bit pissed off. Is it okay to put some hopes? He wonders, scared of getting hurt again but...

"When your parents weren't home?"

"Well, yea. Only two of us."

He's really testing Hamin with that last sentence. Bamby blinks his eyes thrice in surprise, but still try his best to remain cool and not show it on his face, when his eyes catch the glimpse of the other jaw being clenched. Hamin is clearly pissed off. Why? Bamby wants the younger to be more vocal, be more specific, so he can understand.

"What's wrong?" He plays dumb now, excitement slowly creeps into him.

Hamin remains quiet for a moment, eyes lower on the half eaten drumstick in his hold. A small crease is visible between his brows. Bamby bites the inside of his own cheek, feeling bad now. Did I go too far? He waits for the other guy to say something but it seems like taking forever. Maybe he should just apologize.

"Sor-"

"How much do you like Eunho hyung?"

Bamby is taken aback. This is the most vocal one coming from Hamin, so far. He just straight up asking him that question, huh?

"Pardon?" The smaller male dressed in off-white sweatshirt asks, checking just in case he heard it wrong the first time.

"How much do you like Eunho hyung?" Hamin repeats himself exactly the same as earlier, and this time he brings his eyes up to meet the older one's. "Tell me." He puts his drumstick back into the paper box. Eating can wait, there is a more important thing to do now.

Bamby swallows the lump in his throat, lips slightly apart, trying to form words but nothing can come out the first minute. Only one thing to describe Hamin right now. Jealousy. Because if this is not it, then what? The voice sounds a bit too deep and stern, it sends shivers down Bamby's spine.

"A- A lot." Bamby innerly scolds himself for saying that. He can stop testing the water now because Hamin seems not in the mood for this. "I mean-"

"More than me?"

Bamby's eyes grow bigger when Hamin suddenly takes off the disposable plastic glove he uses to eat the fried chicken and leans his face closer to him. He silently prays for his own heartbeat doesn't get too loud for Hamin to hear.

"How much effort should I put to surpass him?"

He is clearly jealous! Bamby's head is spinning at this new discovery. Hamin looks so serious, no glint of teasing nor playfulness. Where is the usual cute youngest member who whines a lot when he wants something? This Hamin infront of him right now is nothing like that adorable Haminnie. His voice is deeper, his gaze is sharper, his words are clearer, his action is bolder yet gentler. The dominating energy in the air around him, he's the one controlling this moment.

"Hamin." Bamby forces his voice out, it almost cracks a little. "The like you mentioned... is it the same as the one I defined?" He asks carefully in half whisper. Their faces are only few centimetres apart that Bamby's hand can reach and cradle it so easily in this distance.

And so he does.

The soft skin underneath his warm fingers feels a bit cold, probably from the bath he had earlier or the air-conditioner. Should I higher the temperature?

Hamin doesn't move away nor avoid the touch, he let the older one does whatever he want. His own gaze slowly slides down from the other pair of beautiful eyes to a pair of slightly gaped plum lips. He never seen someone as breathtaking as this in his entire life. Not only the look, he likes everything about this person. The way he laughs, the way he acts, the way he cares. All these new strange feelings he first experienced ever since this one hyung came into his life.

"I don't know how you defined it but I... really want to kiss you right now."

Bamby gulps, heartbeat races rapidly and he can't even think of anything, his brain tries to digest Hamin's words. Kiss? Did he just said.. kiss? Kiss who? Me?? His eyes widen in surprise and nervousness when the younger one begins to tilt his own head as he leans his face even closer.

"So, hyung, please stop me now if you don't want this too."

Little did Bamby know, Hamin is actually trying to confirm something as well. He may be a bit slow in this kind of matter, but he isn't dumb. He is not too dumb to miss those hints and signs from Bamby all this time. Reacting a little different than normal when he's around him, acting a little different just for his attention, self inserting himself at any chance he got, and such things.

Hamin understood them.

He is the type to pay attention to details, after all. A hardcore observant. Almost impossible for him not to notice. However, there's something else that makes him confused and unable to understand this whole situation.

Bamby shows him all these things and gives him the idea that he actually likes him. But then what's going on between him and Eunho? This part, Hamin still doesn't get it. The older two always being so flirtatious around each other, not to mention, very boldly. As if they purposely try to brag, to show off and tell the whole world how in love they are. Hamin just plays along at times but he can't deny the curiosity.

Because what're those signs for again? He just needs to find out, because it hurts to simply ignore this foreign feeling he experiences. He needs to know what Bamby actually think of him. Are they feeling the same thing or Bamby just toying with him that ended up giving him the wrong idea.

Maybe he's being selfish right now for letting his emotion and feeling get the best of him. Because what if after tonight, Bamby will act awkward and try to avoid him? What if this topic will ruin their friendship and affect their career overall? I'm so selfish. Why am I like this? Why can't I just keep it to myself? Why do I need to know so badly? He mentally vows to take responsibility for whatever happens after this moment, even if it takes him to leave the band.

He's ready for any rejection from the older guy. Coming here tonight mentally prepared for this, he just need to know. He wants Bamby to make it clear, because those signs he has been subtly giving are a bit too vague. "I'm not forcing. You can stop me now if you hate this." He says again, in lower tone.

Hate this? Stop him? He's so naive for thinking I don't want this too. Bamby's head is cloudy yet he can still think straight enough to make his decision. Then, he surrenders to his own desire. Oh, he wants this. Hamin has no idea how much he wants him too.

Not pushing nor moving away, Hamin takes it as a yes. Palms pressed onto the mat on either side of Bamby's small frame. Head tilting slightly, face inching closer, eyes not leaving the other face. Bamby has his eyes closed now. It's definitely a yes. Hamin gets the permission for this. Only then, he has the courage to take the next step. Carefully he plants a kiss on the other lips. A quick innocent one, more like a smooch. Actually a smooch. He pulls back again to scan Bamby's face, to check for any sign of discomfort or anger.

Bamby slowly opens his eyes again. That's it? It took less than a second though. What the hell even was that. His unamused gaze meets Hamin's worried one. Despite everything, this big muscular guy is still their same innocent maknae, after all. Maybe Bamby as the older one should take the lead from here.

Then, he wraps his arms around Hamin's neck, gently pulls him closer again. "If you gonna kiss me, then do it properly." Before the younger can reply anything, their lips meet again. This time, more passionate and longer. Hamin doesn't know how to do it properly but he can tell, Bamby is guiding him patiently. This feels so surreal, to finally being able to taste the lips he had been secretly staring at for most time. Bamby likes the scent of cherry on Hamin's lips. Must be that Nivea lip balm he's been using.

So soft. Hamin's first thought when they kiss. Bamby's plump lips pressed against his makes him want to scream. His head is spinning, blood rushes to his face now that it begins to change color. Oh, how red is it? He wonders. Their lips move together in a perfect rhythm, pressing deeper, lightly nibbling until Bamby lets out a soft chuckle against his lips.

"Why are you chewing me?"

"I- I- I'm sorry. I did it by accident."

"It's okay, doesn't hurt."

Bamby can tell, the younger is too nervous and panicked that he accidentally bit and chew the bottom lip. So cute, he thinks. They're finally pulling back now, only foreheads rest against each other. Bamby quietly stares at Hamin who's catching his breath. Is this his first kiss?

After calming down, Hamin is the first to speak. "Hyung, I... don't understand. This kiss... does it mean you like me too? O-Or not?"

"You silly idiot. I won't kiss just anyone."

"If you like me, then why... you and... you two seem so lovey dovey.." Hamin hesitantly asks. He sounds careful in questioning.

Bamby doesn't need to ask 'me and who?' because he exactly knows who's Hamin meant by that. So, he reveals the truth and tells Hamin everything, including their plan to make Hamin jealous and how Eunho is so supportive and helpful, so caring and rooting for them.

"I was jealous but I didn't know if I even had the right to feel that way. We weren't even a thing." Hamin mutters sadly. Bamby innerly cooes at the sight. The feeling is actually mutual, Bamby can't help wondering what he had done in the past life to deserve this. "I got those hints you gave, but I wasn't sure if it was just me getting the wrong idea and getting my hopes up for nothing."

"I'm sorry for making you felt that way." Bamby half whispers, hands cradle the dashing face Infront of him. "I forgot how good you're in noticing things. All this time, me and Eunho thought you were so oblivious. It was almost too frustrating."

Hamin doesn't say a word, only pouts quietly. Bamby feels bad and apologies one more time.

"I'm so sorry."

"If you're really sorry, let's kiss one more time."

Bamby chuckles a bit louder, "You sure like kissing, right?"

"N-No! I don't kiss just anyone. I like it because it's Bonggu hyung."

Maybe Bamby has a thing for Hamin calling him Bonggu hyung. His heart does skip a beat just now. "Call me that again."

"Uh? Bonggu hyu--"

Hamin can't even finish his words before Bamby climbs into his lap and kisses him again. More passionate, involves tongues and more wet. There is a light taste of honey butter, must be from the fried chicken they were eating earlier.

Bamby is a bit too assertive, arms wrapped around Hamin's neck like the guy will disappear if he let him go. Sensing how they keep falling backwards little by little as the time passes, Hamin brings his big hands to hold the either side of Bamby's small waist. They will fall in no time. And he's not wrong, soon enough he falls on his back with the elder on top of him, still hungrily kissing him.

Look who's so into kissing now. Hamin innerly snickers, he isn't complaining though. He smirks a little between the kisses when Bamby lets out a soft moan at the sudden coldness on his bare back as he slips a hand underneath his shirt.

"H-Hey, only kiss for today."

"Okay, got it."

Both of their faces are as red as tomato, panting heavily after the long session. Bamby has his head rested on Hamin's chest.

"Hyung. What do we call this feeling?"

"It's called love, sweetheart."

"Oh, sweetheart sounds good. But I prefer something more manly like Yu Minha."

"What the hell-" Bamby laughs, it vibrates on Hamin's chest. The younger breaks into a low chuckle. "Yu Minha is not an endearing nickname. It sounds like the name some rappers might use."

"I'm a rapper, hyung." Hamin just has to remind him.

"I knowww. Just saying. You're a lead dancer too. Oh!" Bamby just remembers something. He moves his head, now lifting it up to look at the guy. "You told me we're going to discuss about choreo idea, right? It's getting late now, let's do it quickly."

Hamin grins, big hand comes to gently rubs Bamby's head and fingers lightly trace the braid there. "That one is actually just an excuse."

"Huh?"

"I mean, what else should I say when you asked me why I wanted to come over. I couldn't think of any other excuse other than choreographing. This excuse is kinda like making you sad, right?" Of course he knows this too. "Because you wished the reason would be something else."

Bamby scoffs, just why is this young male so quick to notice things.

"Sleepover. We have no schedule tomorrow."

Hamin nods and hugs the smaller male. They stay like this for another minutes, enjoying the comfortable silence, appreciating each other's company, and sharing some warmth. They're still trying to digest what just happened tonight, for the feeling they've been trying to keep secret for long, to actually be reciprocated, is so surreal. It feels like a dream but again, they can physically feel each other's presence here at this moment. So, this is not a dream. This is real.

Bamby holds the urge to cry. He feels so happy, so relieved. At first, he called this as deja vu. But he's glad this time, the ending is different than that previous one. He doesn't end up crying like last time. This time, he is safe in his beloved person's arms. Pressing his ear against Hamin's left chest a little, just to confirm that Hamin is here with him. Real. He can listen to the calm heartbeat. A soft smile forms on his face as he feels so relieved that this isn't just another dream of his.

.  .  .

The next morning, Bamby wakes up to the warmth pressed against his back. Hamin's arm drapes over his waist. His brain makes a quick recall on what had happened last night. They ate chicken, talked a lot and confession happened, followed by kisses, talked a bit more, continued eating while watching movie and later went to his bedroom to sleep. That's all. He turns around and being greeted by a handsome sight. The visual on this one is too strong.

Oh. Hamin is shirtless as he took off the sweater before sleeping last night. He said something like "I feel like disrespecting Eunho hyung if I hug you while wearing his clothes." He's so innocent for that.

Bamby lifts up his hand and tousles the already messy black bed hair. So soft. Hamin used his shampoo when he was bathing last night, so now they smell the same.

Hamin creaks his eyes open when the fingers on his head keep moving and playing with his hair. "Hyung." He greets the elder first, hoarsely. It sounds deeper and sexier.

"Good morning." Bamby offers a smile. A cute sleepy smile.

"Good morning." Hamin wonders how someone can look this beautiful as soon as he wakes up. Even the messy pink hair can't even ruin the beauty.

"I love you so much." Bamby is not even embarrassed to say it now, knowing Hamin is feeling the same. He intertwined their fingers.

"I love you more, Chae Bonggu." And Hamin brings their hands to his lips before planting a kiss on his small boyfriend's knuckles.

And they've mutually agreed to just keep this new relationship a secret between them. Eunho is allowed to know because Bamby never keep anything from him. He owes that male everything, especially for believing and rooting for him since day 1. Bamby smiles in contentment, feeling so lucky to have these two wonderful and caring guys in his life. Both are very dear to him.

"You always ask me to play with you when you're bored, right? So,... while we still have time before breakfast, wanna play with me?"

"Play--?? Eyyyy hyung is so naughty! I'm gonna report this to Yejun hyung."

"Tch, you- this brat! Play with me!"

"Ackk! Noah hyung, help meee!"
