Chapter Text

"Our dream is to be always together and together, we will become the Professional Superhero!"

Late at night, four kids were strolling around. With the streetlights as their company, they walked side by side, holding hands, making sure they stuck together. Despite the late hour, they looked enthusiastic, sharing small laughs along the way. They were heading to their favorite spot, a place where something exciting was about to happen.

"Ichika! Are you sure about this?" asked a short girl with silver hair, still feeling anxious. She had some doubts and worries about unexpected trouble, but at the same time, she was filled with excitement.

"Don't worry, Shiho. I'm sure nothing bad will happen. Ichika always knows how to handle things!" said another little girl with blonde hair tied up in twin tails, with a bright smile that always on her face.

"Saki's right. The most important thing is that we stick together, so nothing bad happens, right, Ichika?" added another girl with brown hair in a ponytail.

Meanwhile, the girl they were talking about, Ichika, gave a warm smile and said, "What Honami said is true. The most important thing is that we stay together!"

Hearing this, the three girls felt relieved and continued their journey. After a few minutes, they reached their destination, the park. As soon as they arrived, they climbed onto the monkey bars, sitting there, gazing at the sky, and waiting in anticipation.

"How much longer until it starts, Honami?" Saki asked eagerly.

Honami glanced at her watch and replied, "Looks like it'll start in a little while!" She wore an excited smile, and the other girls nodded in agreement.

After waiting for a few minutes, what they had been waiting for finally appeared. Hundreds of shooting stars lit up the night sky, creating a beautiful scenery of shooting stars. The girls' eyes sparkled as they watched the display of shooting stars, until one of them broke their focus.

"Hey! Hey! Let's make a wish!" Saki exclaimed, met with smiles and nods from the other girls.

They clasped their hands together and began whispering their wishes.

"I wish for us to always be together and become professional superheroes."

After making their wishes, they returned their gaze to the sky.

"What Is this a meteor shower called, Honami?" Shiho asked, her eyes filled with wonder.

"It's called the Leonid meteor shower, and it can only be seen once every six years," Honami replied.

"Wow... So this is a rare moment! You're amazing, Honami," Ichika chimed in.

They continued to enjoy the meteor shower while chatting about the stars. However, everything changed when Honami noticed that Saki was unusually quiet. As Honami looked closer, she saw that Saki was leaning on her shoulder, looks unwell. Her eyes were shut as if in pain, and her breathing was irregular.

"Saki! Saki! What's wrong? Ichika! Shiho! Call Tsukasa now!" Honami exclaimed in a panic.

Upon hearing that, Ichika and Shiho quickly assisted Honami put down Saki from the Monkey bar and laying her down on the ground.

"Shiho! Quickly call Tsukasa now," Ichika said, and Shiho nodded in response, immediately running to Saki's house to call Saki older sibling, Tsukasa.

"Saki, please hang in there. Shiho is calling Tsukasa. Please hang in there," Ichika said, choking back tears as she embraced Saki.

Shortly after, Shiho arrived with Tsukasa and their parents, who had rushed over. They panicked upon seeing Saki unconscious in Ichika's arms and immediately called for an ambulance.

When the ambulance arrived, Saki was swiftly taken inside by the medical team, accompanied by her parents. Tenma parents tell the girls to return home with Tsukasa, who would accompany them.

Shiho and Honami had already been escorted home by Tsukasa, leaving Ichika, who was now being accompanied to her house. During the journey, Ichika broke the silence and said, with a trembling voice, "I-I'm sorry... This is all my fault. I was the one who insisted on going to the park and seeing the meteor shower... Please forgive me," she sobbed.

Tsukasa, unable to bear seeing Ichika like this, knelt down and wiped away Ichika's tears with a handkerchief.

"Ichika... Never blame yourself, okay? It's not your fault... Accidents can happen anytime. I understand that you wanted to make Saki happy, and that reason is enough for me to forgive you. So please, don't blame yourself, okay?" Tsukasa reassured her, offering a warm smile.

Ichika nodded and continued walking alongside Tsukasa towards her home. Upon arrival, she thanked Tsukasa and immediately ran to her room, locking the door. Underneath the covers, she hid herself, still sobbing and blaming herself for what had happened.

7 years later

Today is a special day for Saki because she can finally go back to school. After the incident that night, Saki was diagnosed with a condition that made her body very weak whenever she got tired. However, after undergoing four years of intensive treatment, Saki was declared healthy and allowed to return to school.

Saki was extremely excited on her first day of school. Even though she had to join in the middle of the semester, she remained optimistic about her social life at school. Since her three friends also attended the same school, she even declined her older sibling's invitation to go to his old school. But she did it to be reunited with her friends. As Saki was lost in her thoughts, the sound of a door knock interrupted her.

*Knock Knock Knock...*

"Saki! Breakfast is ready! You don't want to be late on your first day of school, do you?" said someone with a baritone voice from behind the door. It was Tsukasa, Saki's older sibling.

"Yeah, I'm coming down in a bit!" replied Saki. After tidying up and making sure she looked good in front of the mirror, she grabbed her bag and walked to the dining area where Tsukasa was already waiting with a smile on their face.

"Good morning, big bro!" Saki greeted cheerfully, met with a warm embrace from Tsukasa, which she returned.

"Who's excited for their first day of school?!" Tsukasa exclaimed enthusiastically, met with Saki's small laughter. "Me!" Saki replied.

"That's great! As the sibling of a star, you have to have breakfast first to blinding everyone with the energy you radiate!!!" Tsukasa said with excitement, occasionally striking a pose in the middle of their conversation.

"Yes sir!!" Saki replied, giggling at her brother's antics. After that, they started their breakfast together. Once they finished, they got ready to leave. Tsukasa started the car, and Saki sat in the front passenger seat. They began driving towards Saki's school.

"Tsukasa... What's it like going to a superhero school?" Saki asked as she observed the road through the car window.

"Hmm...? If I'm being honest... It's a tough journey over there... Considering your condition, I'm not sure... I'm still worried that you might end up back in the hospital because you push yourself too hard... But I know that Ichika and the others will always be there to support you, so I don't have to worry about my beloved little sister," Tsukasa replied, gently stroking Saki's head and giving her a sweet smile.

Saki just chuckled and said, "Thank you, Tsukasa, for believing in me!"

"Oh, by the way, speaking of Ichika, have you told her that you're going back to school? Not only that, but to the same school again," Tsukasa asked.

Saki could only smile, her eyes shining brightly. "No need to tell her, I want to surprise them!" Saki answered.

Upon arriving at Saki's school, it didn't take long for them to become the center of attention among the students. As soon as they reached their destination, Saki stepped out of the car with Tsukasa, causing everyone to be surprised by the presence of a popular superhero. Saki didn't mind her brother's popularity, but she honestly felt nervous with all the attention.

"Alright, I'll go now, okay? Remember, stay cheerful, Saki, and if there's anything that makes you uncomfortable, call me, alright?" Tsukasa said, gently ruffling Saki's hair, and in return, Saki's face lit up with excitement.

"Thanks for giving me a ride, brother!" Saki exclaimed, hugging Tsukasa tightly, which was returned with a hug from Tsukasa.

"Yeah, yeah, now go ahead and go to class and show everyone that you're the brightest star!!!" Tsukasa cheerfully shouted, to which I responded with a small laugh and a salute. "Yes, commander!" I said and walked towards the school area.

'I can't wait to see their reactions. Ichika, Shiho, Honami, wait for me, and we'll be together again!'
