Work Text:
Weird things happen around me, and it’s all my own fault.
Let me go to the start and explain…
When I was small, I had a wild imagination. I played soldiers and dragons, barbie and ken, princes and princesses. I played with cars and baby dolls all the same. Although I played everything, I didn’t have a lot of friends. I played with myself and that resulted in me often making things up, to make my life more interesting and fun.
When I hit the age of five and my quirk was supposed to manifest, both my parents and I were disappointed. For what we could see, I didn’t get one. No flashy explosions, no ice bending or fire bending, no floating, no nothing.
My life moved on with the fact of me not having a quirk. My parents were so disappointed in not having a child with a quirk, that they got another one. Or that is at least why I thought they did it. When my younger brother turned four, he manifested a quirk as one of the first in his class. His quirk wasn’t anything fancy, really. Only the power to make people do what he wanted them to with persuasion alone. He could sweet-talk anyone into doing his bidding.
Saying I wasn’t jealous would be a lie. He always got what he wanted, without really doing much. People wouldn’t always know if he used his quirk on them, and if they asked, he would just use it again and make them believe he didn’t. But I know the truth. For some reason, he wouldn’t use his quirk on me, maybe because he didn’t find me worthy to use it on.
Me and my brother were never close and still aren’t to this day. I don’t even want to look at him. He’s clearly our parents favorite, but maybe he just used his quirk on them to love him more too.
I despise him. And our parents too.
One day something happened though. Something weird. I was in middle school, and some girl was being really mean to me. I’ve never really been a person to spread rumors and gossip around, but this chick had really pissed me off. So, I spread a rumor about her, that her hair was fake and she was wearing a wig. Well to everyone’s surprise, the next time we had PE her hair fell off, when we were doing gymnastics. Everyone stared at her and the wig on the ground. She screamed at people to stop staring at her and then ran out of the gym. She didn’t come to school for the next few days and then we found out she transferred.
It was a real shocker, that the fake rumor I made up was real. Although that wasn’t the last time it happened. Throughout my life I have happened to tell a little white lie here or there and even spread rumors of people who had hurt me or my few friends, and all of them have happened to be true. I’m not sure when I figured it out, but eventually I came to the conclusion that that must be my quirk.
That’s why the doctors didn’t see me having a quirk and we never discovered it. It was a silent, hidden quirk. Since I wasn’t a kid to lie or spread rumors, we never found out. Now I keep my quirk as a little secret from everyone. Not even my closest friends know.
Now that you’re all caught up with my story, let’s continue with the present.
I’m currently in university and studying to become a child-psychologist. I want children to know that they aren’t alone in this world and have someone to go to. I want to be the person I needed as a child.
Since my parents don’t know anything about my quirk, they honestly couldn’t care less about what career path I wanted to pick. Although my brother just had to go to UA, the best hero school there is. Since we were small, he always wanted to play the hero. Getting bullies to leave the weak alone and even getting scary adults to behave. He was a boy of action and still is to this day.
Almost nothing scares him, since every time something scary happens he just uses his quirk to make it go away.
Pathetic, if you ask me.
In my eyes he just runs away from responsibilities and scary scenarios. He never faces them head on, since he just uses his quirk to make them go away. I, on the other hand, can’t just make my problems go away. Since I started going to university, I’ve found out I have abandonment issues, anxiety and more to go on the list.
Great.
I’m sitting in the local coffee shop at my campus. I’m studying for my next few lessons and hearings on child psychology. I truly feel passionate about what I do. I really do want to help children, but gods is this a lot of work.
Suddenly a bunch of students make a ruckus around the tv hanging on the wall. I look up to see what the commotion is about, and it is indeed what I thought it's about. The league of villains was on the attack. Another week, another attack. The league of villains is ruthless and takes every opportunity they can get. I’ve heard rumors of the league growing in numbers and that they’ve gotten a newer and bigger base. Though I’m not sure if that is indeed true.
The league of villains has never really scared me, maybe because I’ve always been pretty far away from the ruckus and the league’s attacks. I don’t live in the same city as my parents and my brother, where the attacks are mainly pointed at. Of course, I’m worried about my family, it’s a primal instinct we all have. But so far nothing has happened to them at all, which is good.
I try to focus on my work, when a crowd of gasps erupt among the crowd. I look up again and see that the league’s leader, Shigaraki Tomura, is on screen. Apparently, he’s fighting some of the top 20 heroes and they’re losing. No surprise there, that man has truly evolved.
Talking of Shigaraki, what an interesting specimen that man is. I wonder what has happened in his life for him to end up like this. It must have been something terrible. I wonder if he had had someone to talk to, then he might not have ended up like this.
I decide to pack my things and leave the café, since I’m not getting any work done. I also need to go home and pack. This weekend is my 22’th birthday, and I’ve promised to come home for the occasion.
-
The trip back home was long and boring. The flight went smoothly and then the train ride to my hometown went just as well. Nothing happened to write home about.
I’m now standing in front of my parent’s home. My childhood home, where a lot of bad and sad memories have held place for years. I sigh and knock on the door. Not long after the door swings open, I’m greeted by my younger brother.
“Sis! So glad to see you! How long has it been? A year or two?” I look down at him and nod. “Yeah, about that long…” The mood turns awkward. I’m not good at being alone with him…
He walks to the side of the door frame, letting me into the house. I walk inside and take off my shoes only to be bombarded by my mother.
“Sweetie how are you! It’s been so long!” I put on a small smile and greet her. “Hi mom.” She tells me dad’s still at work and will first arrive late tonight. I nod and walk up the stairs to my old room. Since I haven’t lived at home for years and I rarely visit, my mom has made my old room into a guest room. I don’t mind though, then there’s nothing to remind me of my sad, lonely childhood. I unpack and then join my mother and brother downstairs.
They’re talking about the recent attack from the league of villains. My brother excitedly talking about how the heroes almost got them this time, with his hands and arms swinging everywhere. My mother just sits and listens to him with a gentle smile on her face.
I take a seat at the table, joining the conversation.
“So, what happened?” My brother looks at me with an excited expression and starts talking again.
“You didn’t see?? It was the league, they attacked UA!” My eyes widen. They attacked UA? Why? Before I can speak my concern, he continues.
“They attacked while one of the classes had PE! Or hero training as we like to call it,” He said with a smug face.
“Vlad King, Cementoss and Snipe all fought against the league. Thankfully they weren’t in full numbers, so the teachers could take them down!” My mouth opened wide, “They took down the league?” My brother turns a bit shy then and says, “No… But they got the league to retreat!”
I nod in understanding. Then my mother speaks up, “Those league of villains truly are horrible! Attacking my poor baby boy’s school,” She says while padding my brother’s cheek. I roll my eyes at her obvious favoritism towards him.
“Those diabolical lunatics should just rot and die.”
I’m shocked at her words, “Straight up die? Isn’t that a bit harsh?” My mother looks at me with confusion, “A bit harsh? They are scum to this earth! They attacked your brother’s school! He could have been hurt!!”
I furrow my eyebrows, “Don’t you think they should get help instead?” My mom looks with utter confusion, “Help?”
“Yeah,” I speak, “Something terribly traumatic must have happened to them, for them to end up like this. If they got help, maybe they could get better and-“ My mother cuts me off, “Absolutely not! There is nothing to save there. What they need is a cell to rot in,” She says with finality. My eyebrows furrow further, “So, what if I ended up like that? Should I just rot in a cell and die too?” I say with anger in my voice.
My mother looks at me with horror in her eyes, “What? No, you wouldn’t ever end up like that! You’re nothing like them.” The anger I feel starts to grow. “Nothing like me? Nothing like me?! They’re just some broken individuals who didn’t get any help with their trauma growing up, just like me!” My mother scuffs at me.
“Trauma? You don’t have any trauma. What are you even talking about?”
Now I’m boiling inside.
“No trauma? No of course you wouldn’t think that, because all you ever think about is your golden boy with a quirk! You’ve always been disappointed in me, I know! You and dad have been awful at hiding it if you’ve even tried! All your love and attention went to my brother, and I was always just sort of there! You haven’t loved me since I was five! You know what? Maybe I will join the League! I bet I’d be appreciated there!!”
My mother looks at me with a horrified and shocked face, but before she or my brother can say a thing, I leave the room and the house all together. I can’t be in this right now.
I’ve never yelled at my parents or even confronted them once about their favoritism for my brother. I’ve never said anything and now that I have, everything has come crashing down. I’ve always kept my feelings at bay, to not end up crying myself to sleep or having a mental breakdown, like I’m having right now.
I’m running away from my childhood home and into the city. I need to be as far away as possible right now. My running slows down to a jog once I reach the central city. It slowly turns into a walking pace. It’s getting dark out and the city lights are starting to turn on. I look up into the sky and see dark clouds start to form. Shit, I think as it looks like it’ll start raining soon.
As I walk there’s multiple eyes on me. I can clearly see them talking and gossiping about me and my attire. Since I was in such a rush to get out of the house, I could only grab a black hoodie that was hanging by the doorway. I have the hood pulled up over my head, hiding my face and crying eyes. I turn a corner down into the nearest alleyway to get away from prying eyes. I start pacing back and forth in the small space between the two buildings for a few minutes, thinking.
“Fuck! This is some bullshit!” I yell while kicking the nearest trash can in the alleyway. I hit my back against one of the walls of the alleyway and slid down to sit with my face hidden behind my knees. I can hear myself sobbing in the quiet of the night, with the slight rain hitting the top of my head.
I hate this. I hate my mother. I hate my brother. I hate everyone ! Nobody deserves to die and rot in a dumb prison cell. No, they just need help! If only they had someone to talk to. Then a sick thought comes to mind. Maybe it would work, though I doubt it.
I straighten my back and close my eyes, thinking for a moment before talking out loud.
“I heard a rumor, that Shigaraki Tomura was right behind the corner.” I have a theory, and I want to test it out.
Then suddenly I hear a crash at the end of the alleyway and a loud cuss. “Shit! Fucking idiots!” The voice is raspy and slightly high pitched. I whip my head towards the sound and there is what looks like a warp portal open for a few seconds before disappearing. In front of the portal is a figure, most likely the one who yelled earlier. It’s dark so I can’t make out who it is just yet. Then the figure turns around and faces me and I realize who it is. Tall, white long hair, black baggy jeans and the signature crimson eyes glowing in the dark.
Shigaraki bloody Tomura.
Shit, my rumor came true! I know my quirk can make everything I say happen, but still. I didn’t expect him to actually just show up out of nowhere. I sit silently and stare at him for a moment. It doesn’t seem like he's noticed me.
“The fuck you looking at?”
Or so I thought. I scramble to my feet to stand up and face him. I’m nervous. Very nervous. I’ve never really encountered a villain before, so this is new. But I’m not someone to just run away from my problems or scream for help. Besides, I’m the one who got him here.
I take a deep breath and straighten my posture. My hand then shoots out in a greeting, and I plaster a nervous smile on my face.
“H-Hi!” I say with a shaky voice. Shigaraki just stands and stares at me, with clear confusion on his face. “Hi?” He repeats. I slowly lower my hand to my side and rub the back of my neck with the other.
“Yeah… Hi?” We stand in silence for a moment. I’m not sure what to say here, I’m not so sure if it was a good idea to test that theory anyway…
Shigaraki starts walking slightly closer to me and I back away slowly. Each step he takes closer to me, I take a step away. Until my back hits the wall of what now feels like a crowded alleyway. His hand shoots up towards me and lands on the wall next to my face. I slowly glance to my side and see his partly gloved hand on the wall. His face comes closer to mine. As he examines my face, squinting his eyes, he asks, “Who are you?”
I gulp and try to flatten myself against the wall, to get just a little away from him. What is this feeling? Am I… Scared? I think to myself.
My heart is beating fast, and I feel my head getting light from the lack of personal space between me and Shigaraki.
From my lack of a response, I hear him sneer his next words. “I asked a question, doll… Who. Are. You?” He’s so close that I can’t see anything but his eyes. He’s staring into my own. Like he’s searching for something. I stare back into his eyes and find myself getting lost in the crimson pools. They go so deep that it feels like I’m getting wrapped up and warmth surrounds me. Before I know it, I’m pulled out of it as he sneers at me once again and turns his face to look elsewhere. I blink a couple of times to gather my surroundings and realize Shigaraki isn’t pinning me against the wall anymore. Instead, he’s gone.
I push myself off the wall and look around to see if I can spot him, but he’s nowhere to be found. I put my hands into the pocket of my hoodie and start walking the long way back to my childhood home, since I have nowhere else to go. Soon after the rain starts to pour down.
When I finally reach the house, I’m drenched, cold and tired. I let out a deep sigh, put my hand on the doorknob and open the door. Inside I hear my mother’s light sobs and an angry voice telling her to quit crying. I take off the drenched hoodie and my soaked shoes and walk inside the kitchen where my parents seem to be. Once they notice me, all hell breaks loose.
My father turns around and looks at me with an angry expression on his face.
“Where the hell have you been?!” He yells at me. I frown at him and respond with,
“Why do you care?” His already angry expression turns even more sour.
“Don’t you dare speak to me in such a tone! Look what you did to your mother!” I look over at my mother who’s still crying over our argument earlier. I scoff and roll my eyes at her waterworks. This seems to really push my father’s buttons.
“You will show your mother some respect! She was the one who birthed and fed you!” I let out another angry scuff. “Birthed and fed me? What, are you from the 19’th hundred?”
“I will not tolerate this kind of behavior! You need to learn some respect and treat your parents with the respect they deserve!” Now this pressed my buttons.
“Respect? Respect?! Why the hell would I ever respect the two people who never ever gave a damn about me!?!” My father’s expression turns slightly surprised at my outburst.
“You guys have never given a damn about me! You never came to my sports tournaments. You never came to my school presentations. You didn’t even show up at my graduation, because that good for nothing golden boy had a bad day!! All you ever care about is him! Is he okay. Does he need anything. What can we do to make his life easier and better!” Tears are now rolling down my cheeks as my voice grows in volume.
“I don’t give a shit about my attitude to you, because you’ve never given a shit about me !” Just as the last word of my sentence was spoken, my father raises his hand and the next thing I register is a pain on my cheek.
I hear my mother let out a gasp and my father starts to yell at me again. His voice is muffled, I can’t hear his words, only the sounds of his voice. I stand there, eyes wide and in shock about what has just happened. He… He slapped me…
This is it. This is the last straw. I look down, feeling my eyes go dark.
“I heard a rumor… “ I look up into my father’s eyes, “That you couldn’t speak.”
And just as the words leave my mouth, the words get cut off from my father. My father looks at me with shock in his eyes. I smirk and with a wicked expression I say,
“What? Cat got your tongue?”
Rage now filling my father’s eyes, I see him raising his fist into the air again, but this time I’m ready. “I heard a rumor!” I yell out. “That mother was my shield.” And just before his fist hits me, my mother jumps in front and takes the blow. He hits her right under the left side of her ribcage, causing her to fall to her hands and knees. I see her on the ground coughing and gasping for air. I look down at her with no pity in my eyes. My father readies for another blow my way, but I callout before it lands, “I heard a rumor, that you couldn’t hit a target.” And with that, he misses.
I look at him losing balance from the strong blow. I raise my foot and kick him in the side, making him fall to the ground next to my mother.
The rain and rumbling thunder can be clearly heard outside. Both my parents look up at me, with fear in their eyes. A lightning strikes right outside our window, lighting up the kitchen and my face as well. Showing my dull expression turning into a wicked smile.
“I heard a rumor, that the league of villains needs a new recruit.”
With that I turn around and leave. I can hear my mother’s voice screaming after me slowly fade away, as I keep walking into the darkness of the night.
-
I’m back in the city. The rain and thunder have stopped, but it’s still dark out. I’m walking up and down alleyways to see if I can spot any thugs or members of the league. But no luck so far. As I’m about to give in for the night and give up I hear a muffled scream in the alleyway to my right. I run down it and see in the far end that a man is currently assaulting a woman. I stand still as I see him tear at her clothes with one hand and hold his other over her mouth, so her screams and calls for help are muffled.
I run towards them and jump into a kick, hitting him squarely in the head with my foot, making him fall to the ground. The woman desperately gasps for air once the man’s hand is removed from her face. I ask her if she’s okay and she thanks me deeply. I tell her to get out of here to safety and she does as I told. Once the woman is out of sight, I bend down to the man and grab the collar of his shirt, hoisting him up so I can speak with him.
“What do you know about the League of Villains?” I ask. He stares at me with fear in his eyes.
“I- I don’t know anything about the league! Please let me go!” I scuff. “Right, so we’ll do this the hard way. I heard a rumor, that you would tell me where the league is.”
But before he can utter a word, blue flames envelop him. I let out a gasp and release him, making him fall to the ground, crying and screaming in agony. As the man is burning alive at my feet, a figure comes out of the shadow. I look up and see a hand of blue fire light up. Quickly it nears my face, I close my eyes for impact, but it never lands. Instead, I find myself pinned against a wall once again and a deep voice behind me.
“Women like you shouldn’t be out here this late at night, sweet face.” I cringe at the smell of burning flesh. When I don’t respond to his comment the manly figure continues.
“Why are you asking about the league? You a hero or something?” The word “hero” sounds venomous coming out of his mouth. I move my head to the side, facing the voice. A little snicker coming out of me.
“I heard a rumor; you need new recruits.”
A moment goesby, when suddenly the pressure on my back disappears and I canmove away from the wall. I turn around to look at the person, who was pinning me against the wall earlier and realize it’s none other than Dabi from the League of Villains himself. I quickly wipe my shocked expression away from my face and greet him.
“Greetings Dabi.” I say and reach out my hand towards him. He stares at my hand, then at me for a moment before scuffing. “Greetings, sweet face,” He says and grabs my hand to shake it. I notice his hand is extremely hot to the touch. I give him a bright smile and ask:
“So, how do I become a part of the league?” Dabi releases my hand and starts laughing. I look confused at him for a moment before deadpanning my expression at his continuous laughter. Once he’s finished, he straightens up and tells me.
“It’s not just that easy sweet face. You gotta get approved by the man himself.”
The man himself? Oh! He must mean Shigaraki. I nod and say,
“Okay yeah, sure thing. No problem. When can I meet him?” Dabi looks at me dumbfounded and confused by my nonchalant reaction. Then a smirk appears on his face. “Well, why don’t we go at once?” He asks while putting a hand on my back and swinging the other hand in the direction of the dark end of the alleyway. I take a moment to gather my thoughts before nodding and start walking with Dabi into the darkness.
I think we walk for hours through different alleyways and abandoned buildings. Finally, we stopat what looks like a five-star hotel. Weird. I think. Dabi walks inside first, leading the way, while I follow. He nods to the receptionist, who nods back, and continues to the elevator. As we’re standing inside in silence, he goes to press a button, but instead of pressing one of the plus numbers, he presses a blue button that has a case protecting it. Suddenly the elevator doors close and it starts moving down. I watch the number on top of the elevator doors slowly going down to minus levels. Me and Dabi are still standing in silence waiting for the doors to open. Once at level -17, they slowly open and inside is a long corridor. Dabi takes the lead once again and I quickly follow behind.
The hallway has concrete walls and floors. Dull and grey in color. I guess they can’t really make it that fancy at this level down under ground. Along the corridor are several doors leading to gods know where. Hopefully I’ll find out soon enough.
Dabi leads me to the big double doors at the end of the corridor. When we reach them, he stands still for a moment, a wide smile on his face. “This’ll be fun.” He says under his breath before knocking on the door. A moment goes by before a knock is heard back and the doors open into a large spacious room. Inside is much more decorated than in the corridor. It looks like an arena for multiple different sports and martial arts. There’s a wrestling mat, a boxing area, some weights for heavy lifting and a big area for fighting and dueling. This is impressive. It’s a training hall!
As I look around, Dabi walks inside and towards the dueling mat. I slowly follow him inside and onto the mat. As soon as I’m on the mat he goes into a defensive position.
“Show me what you got, sweet face.” I stand a bit confused by the sudden want to fight from Dabi. So I question him,
“Why?” He slightly straightens up his posture. “So, I can see what you’re worth.” He deadpans. I nod in understanding and take a defensive stance. Before I can think of my first move, he attacks and hits me twice on each side of my body. I take a step back to get some space in between us and ready my first attack.
What only a few people know is, I went to boxing when I was younger, to get some of my frustrations and angry emotions out in a somewhat healthy way.
I steady my footing on the ground and swing my right hook straight at Dabi’s face. He dodges and goes for another attack towards my abdomen. I quickly lower my arms to take the blow instead and ready for my next attack. Dabi is up close to me, so I decide to swing my left fist towards his ribcage. Landing the punch straight on. He takes a few steps back from the blow before jumping in the air towards me with a kick. I dodge by bending my knees and rolling under the kick. I quickly stand up again and turn around attacking with my own kick, hitting Dabi from behind.
It's clear that Dabi usually relies on his quirk instead of fighting abilities, but he’s still a worthy opponent.
Dabi, now clearly angered, spews out a bunch of attacks in a row, first a hit to my left side, then a kick to my head and then I’m swept off my feet, landing butt first on the floor. I welp out at the pain, rubbing my now sore hip.
Dabi is standing above me and lets out a huff of a laugh. “Heh, not bad, sweet face. Now get up, I have someone to introduce you to,” He says and reaches out a hand for me to grab into to hoist me up on my feet again.
We exit the training hall and walk back down the corridor to another set of double doors. This time when Dabi knocks on the door, he knocks out a rhythm which seems like some kind of code. The doors open shortly after and inside is a glamorous room. It looks like some kind of presidential office, but more… fun?
There’s a big oak desk and bookshelves by one end of the office, yet on the other side is a television with multiple gaming consoles and games raked on shelves around it, a couch and bean bags all around the area. In the near end of the room there’s two wooden doors. At the wooden oak desk sits none other than Shigaraki, with a bunch of papers surrounding him on the surface of the desk. Pen in gloved hand and glasses in the brim of his nose. He looks up and stares at Dabi, who is currently the intruder to his privacy.
Shigaraki puts down the pen and takes off his glasses to put them down as well. With a tired sigh and rubbing the bridge of his nose he says,
“Dabi, to what honor do I owe to get your presence?” It’s said with a sarcastic tone of voice, clearly, he isn’t pleased with being interrupted. Dabi just waltzes inside the room, hands in his pockets and a bored expression on his face.
“Sup boss, got a potential new recruit,” He says bored. Shigaraki lifts his head at this and stares at Dabi expectantly.
“Well, where are they?” Dabi looks behind himself and nods his head for me to enter the room. I slowly walk inside and wave at Shigaraki, instantly cringing at myself. Shigaraki’s eyes widen slightly with recognition from seeing me, then they squint in my direction. He huffs out a breath of laughter and looks down at the paperwork in front of him again.
“Hah, that little thing couldn’t even answer a simple question when asked. Why should I waste my time on her?”
Dabi shrugs his shoulders and says,
“She’s pretty good at combat. Got a few hits in while sparring with me. Plus, look at that pretty face of hers.” He says while grabbing my face and squishing it.
“We need more beauties in this league, instead of all the monstrosities like yourself,” He says releasing my face and deadpanning the last part. My mouth opens . How in the world can he just speak to Shigaraki like that? Are they friends? They don’t seem like friends… Shigaraki sighs yet again and looks up at Dabi and myself.
“Right, like that’s an actual factor to become a member of the league,” He says bored.
“What is your quirk?”
Suddenly I stiffen up. Shit. My quirk. What do I do? Do I just tell them about it and risk being killed because of how powerful it is or do I say I don’t have one and risk not being accepted and killed anyways? Fuuuuuck I don’t know what to do… I try looking around the room for anything at all to help me figure out what to do, then a brilliant thought comes to mind.
“My quirk is very unique. I can suggest to people to do my bidding.” Shigaraki looks bored. “Can you explain that further?” I swallow, thinking how I do this. “W-well, If I say a specific start of a sentence, then what I say to a person makes them want to do it. For example,” I look at Dabi and he stares back with a confused look. “I heard a rumor; you bark like a dog.” And instantly Dabi starts barking like the dog he is.
A shine of interest appears in Shigaraki’s eyes, before he starts laughing. His laughter is hateful and full of amusement from Dabi’s misery. Once he finishes laughing, he wipes a tear from his eye and says, “Alright you can make him stop now.”
I rub my neck with my left hand and look awkwardly at Dabi.
“My rumors take at least 30 minutes to end, if it’s something like this…” Shigaraki, now looking at me intrigued, asks, “How long can they go?” I think about it for a while before answering.
“It’s really up to me, if I want them to do it for 2 hours I can, but it can also be days or weeks. Even for forever if I so decide.”
This really gets Shigaraki’s attention. A wicked smile spreads across his lips, and he gets up from his chair, making a loud creek as the chair scrapes across the floor. He walks over towards me and Dabi, grabs Dabi by the shoulders, turns him around and throws his barking ass out the doors and closes them. He turns back round, facing me and says,
“Welcome to the League of Villains”
Weeks have now passed and I’m slowly getting used to being a part of the league. I’ve met many of the members, but there are apparently too many to count, I’ve found out. I thought the league was just some small-town villain group, but in reality, they’re a huge organization spread out over multiple cities across the country. With the main, original group being here in Musutafu city. I’ve met the seven people who originally met up and made the League of Villains.
Spinner, a reptilian quirk, giving him reptilian skin and purple hair. He didn’t seem so pleased with me in the beginning, but after some sparring sessions and some video gaming, he came to accept me as one of their own. I’ve even gotten permission to braid his hair with Toga.
Toga is the sweetly insane girl that lives here in the basement of the hotel as well. She has this weird obsession with blood, but it mostly has something to do with her quirk, since she can transform into the people she drinks the blood of. She seemed intrigued and interested in me from the start. So much so that she asked for my blood when we first met. She might be insane, but her intentions are sweet.
Twice was the third person I met. I think he has a sort of personality disorder since he has two to three personalities speaking at once. He seems split about who he is. I’ve tried helping him with the little I know about DID. He seems to appreciate my help, since he’s come with red roses to me. Yet again, he has also come with black roses so, maybe not.
Mr. Compress is one interesting fella. From an earlier encounter with another villain group he's lost an arm and now has a robotic one. His quirk is a bit weird. From what I’ve understood, he can store people in small blue glass balls. He’s very flamboyant, but I welcome it. He’s a nice change to this dull place.
Kurogiri is very… how do I say this… Boring? He currently just works at the bar down here. Yes, there’s a bar, and it’s huge . Kurogiri doesn’t say much, nor does he go out much. He’s kinda just there, for when anyone needs a warp gate.
Dabi, I’ve known about from the news. He has an extreme fire power quirk. He’s cruel, merciless and cynical. But also, he’s a pretty funny guy. He knows how to take a joke and he certainly knows how to prank someone. Even though he’s not much for socializing, the little he does leave an impression.
Now, Shigaraki. For the past few weeks, I’ve been sparring with him almost every single day, to train and get stronger. I need to be good at combat since my quirk isn’t an attack quirk, but a manipulative quirk. The first week, Shigaraki seemed pretty nonchalant towards me. He didn’t put much effort into our sparring sessions and left as soon after. We barely spoke to each other, but that changed in week two when I started asking him innocent questions about himself.
I asked him about his work and the games in his office. I asked what he likes to play and what his favorite games are. Then I started to ask about the books in his office, if he reads and if so if he's read them all. When we got to familiar terms and started having conversations, I started asking deeper questions like, “What is your goal with all this?” or “What made you go down this path of work?” He wasn’t that happy with the last question.
I want to get to know this mastermind of evil. There must be some reason he became what he became.
I’m planning to get to the bottom of everyone here. Talk to them, figure them out. Be there for them when they have a bad day. I want to get to know them. I want to be their friend. But to do that I need to gain their trust.
I’m walking down the corridor for what feels like the thousand time. I’m not sure where I’m going exactly. Toga and Twice aren't here right now and Spinner is sleeping, since it’s in the middle of the night. I have trouble sleeping sometimes and tonight is one of those nights. As I’m walking towards the training hall, I notice a door slightly agape and music coming from inside. I go over to the door and realize it’s the door to Shigaraki’s office. I consider knocking on the door before going inside, but think it’ll be fine to just walk inside, since the door is agape.
I slowly open the door into his office-gaming-room and poke my head through. I firstly look over at the office part of the room, but he’s nowhere to be seen. Then I look over at the gaming part and indeed there he is. He’s sitting on the couch and playing some kind of security guard game. I open the door to walk inside and close it again.
I walk up to the couch and watch him play in silence. It’s some sort of game where you look at cameras and into two halls next to you. I think it’s animatronics that’s roaming whatever facility the security guard is protecting.
As I’m about to let my presence known, there’s suddenly a jumpscare on the screen and both me and Shigaraki scream and yell in surprise. But since he didn’t know I was there, my scream made him jump yet again, resulting in him falling down the couch. I look over the couch down at Shigaraki and he’s laying head down, ass up, on his back and feet in the air.
I burst out laughing at his stupid position and the situation all together. While I laugh, he gets up and sits down on the couch again.
“The hell are you doing here?” He asks. I wipe a tear from my eye and calm myself down before answering.
“I saw the door agape and thought I’d see what you were up to.” I say still slightly laughing. He looks at me with tired irritated eyes. “I mean, why are you still up at this hour?” My laugh dies down as I get slightly embarrassed. “Couldn’t sleep,” I say. He nods, “Yeah, same.” We stand and sit in silence for a moment before he speaks up again, “You can take a seat you know.” I’m surprised at his words. He’s never invited me to sit with him before. I walk around the couch and sit down, while he starts up another game. I watch him play for some time then get curious about the game and ask, “What game is it?” He doesn’t look away from the screen when he answers.
“It’s called Five Nights at Freddy’s, it’s the first of many games.” I nod, waiting for him to continue. “The first four games are pretty much the same in the gameplay, but from the fifth it changes completely. It’s fun to see a gaming franchise envelope into something bigger, when they started out from nothing.” I smile.
“Like the league.” He looks in my direction for a moment before going back to his game. “Yeah, like the league.”
We sit in silence for a couple of minutes. Him playing the game like an expert and me just watching him play. Silently cheering him on. As the clock turns six and the game cheers for the player, I clap my hands in excitement. “You really have some skills in this game!”
He looks at me slightly wide eyed, before getting embarrassed.
“Don’t you think it’s dorky?” I look at him confused. “Dorky? No, absolutely not. I don’t know much about you, but I know you’re passionate about games. Being passionate about something is a gift. No one should ever be looked down upon just for liking something and being passionate about it.” Shigaraki’s eyes widened a bit more at my little speech. He looks away while rubbing the back of his neck with his hand. “Right.”
If it weren’t for the dark light in the room, I would have thought there was a slight tint on his cheeks. He then asks,
“What are you passionate about?” Then it’s my turn to be embarrassed. “As I said, being passionate about something is a gift. Not everyone has it.” Shigaraki’s brows furrow. “But there must be a reason why you joined the league.” That’s when it hits me. I’m passionate about something.
“You’re right, there is something I’m passionate about.” Shigaraki turns to give me his full attention. “I want to get to know you,” I state simply. This clearly confuses him, but before he can ask, I explain, “Everyone thinks you’re just scum to this earth. That you don’t deserve to live or just to rot in a cell and die. Well, I don’t think that. I think there’s a reason you guys ended up the way you are. You can’t just have been born pure evil. I believe, if there were someone there for you, in the darkest time of your life, you would have been able to live a normal life, instead of hiding away and doing villainy. So, I’m here to be there for you. I’m here to listen and to help. I want to be the rock you lean up against. I want to be your friend. That’s what I’m passionate about.”
Shigaraki's shock from my speech is clear, from the way his eyes goes wide and then furrow in confusion.
“But why would you ever side with a villain, when you could live out a normal life yourself?” I look down at my hands, with a sad smile on my lips. “Well, I get how it feels to be broken,” I say and look up into his deep crimson eyes. Shigaraki stares into my eyes as I stare into his. It feels like hours goes by before he looks away and back at the game. But before he starts the game again he asks, “Do you want to try?” I brighten up my smile. “Sure.” He then hands me the controller and shows me how to play the game. And with that, the night went by pretty quirk.
-
My mind is black. I don’t see anything. I’m laying on something soft. Like wickedly soft, softer than my bed. I grab the blanket laying over me and wrap it tightly around me, not wanting to wake up yet. Though my first thought of the day has happened, and my brain is up and awake. I slowly open my eyes to look up at the ceiling. It’s not like the ceiling in my room, which is white. No, this is a dark grey color. I turn my head to my right to see there’s a door leading somewhere. I then look down at the wall by my feet, where a large television is located on top of a dresser.
Then suddenly the bed starts to move by my side. I slowly turn my head to the left and almost jump out of my skin when I see Shigaraki laying there. I quickly sit up, staring at him, then looking around the room again. This must be one of the rooms behind one of the doors in Shigaraki’s office. I stare down at the man next to me again and just sit in silence for a moment before;
“Quit staring, creep.” I jolt at his sudden awakeness and awareness of my staring. He must really have good instincts since he knew with his eyes closed.
Slowly his eyes open and the pool of crimson wash over me. His eyes are groggy and tired. They look so innocent when just woken up.
Then a thought goes through my mind. I quickly look down and see I’m still wearing the clothes from the night before. I release a sigh I didn’t know I was holding. Shigaraki sits up and eyes me with suspicion by my sudden relieved state. I look over at him and with a nervous voice asks, “Why am I in your... ummm… bed?” . He looks tiredly at me and answers,
“You fell asleep while we played. Didn’t know where your room was.” I nod in understanding . “Alright… But why are you here then?” Shigaraki gets up from the bed and starts walking to the door to my right.
“Well, I wasn’t going to sleep on the couch.” I make an “arh” sound then and watch him walk by the bed.
Shigaraki is wearing nothing but a pair of sweatpants. I can’t help but stare at his upper body. He’s covered in scars and bruises from earlier battles with the heroes. But even with the scars I can’t help but admire his physique. His toned body and abbs. The clear muscles made from fighting instead of just going to the gym. These were holding real strength behind them. Raw core strength. Shigaraki must have noticed my staring, from his next words,
“Like what you see, doll face?”
I blush deeply and instantly look down into my lap, not wanting to be more disrespectful towards him. I hear a chuckle leave him and I carefully look up again. He opens the door to my right and walks inside. I slowly glance inside and realize it’s some sort of walking closet. As soon as I see him start stripping, I quickly look away. Keeping his modesty.
As he exits the closet I go to look at him again, but is greeted by flying cloth being thrown at my face. I take it into my hands and realize it’s a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. I look up confused and he simply states.
“Put it on, it’s time for our sparring session.” I let out a long groan and slug my position. “Before we’ve even had breakfast?” Shigaraki opens the door to the rest of his office and says, “You won’t always be able to eat breakfast before a fight. Now come on.” I sigh and get out of bed.
I quickly change into the clothes given to me. The shorts fit like they should, but the t-shirt is too big for my figure, hanging off of my shoulders like an oversized piece of clothing. But I’ll make it work. We’re walking to the training hall in silence and as we reach the doors, he pushes them open. I was expecting there to be some people inside like always, but not a soul could be seen. I look at the time and see it’s only a bit over six in the morning. Welp, that explains it. We walk to the sparring mat and get into position. Both taking a defensive stance, ready for the other to attack.
Shigaraki makes the first move to attack. So far, I haven’t been able to land a solid hit on him. His agile body is always dodging my attacks. Although I’ve gotten much better at defending myself from his blows, I still need to practice my speed. I kick after his head, and he dodges by bending down. He then swirls around with his leg shot out, hitting my feet and making me lose my footing. I jump back up on my feet ready for his next attack. He goes for a hit to my head as well, but before he can make contact, I dodge out of the way and bend down in my knees to give a punch to his abdomen. Shigaraki blocks my punch with his arms, grabbing my arm, lifting me up like I weigh nothing to him and throws me to the side. I turn in the air and land on my feet. I yell while I run towards him, fist in the air. It’s obvious to see my intention of hitting him in the face and he readies for it, but right before he dodges again, I slide down on the ground and kick his legs, making him lose balance and falling to the ground, I jump up and pin him to the ground, with my legs on either side of his waist.
“Hah! I’ve got you!!” I yell at him, a huge smile on my lips. Although my celebration ends shortly after as he swings a leg over my back and rolls us over. I say an “umpf” sound as I land on my back with him above me, now in the same position I was in just a second ago. A smirk appears on his lips, and he leans down so our faces er inches apart.
“Now, who got who, doll face.” I furrow my eyebrows at him winning this sparring like every other in the past, but then realization hits.
Our position. Him on top of me, with a leg on each side of my hips. His arm pinning both of mine above my head. Face inches apart and him smirking down at me. A deep blush appears on my cheeks, and I try to wiggle out of his ironclad grip.
“Ah ah ah, can’t escape that easily.” He says and grips my wrist tighter. He leans even further down to whisper in my ear.
“You know… You’re quite cute when you look this helpless.” My already deep blush deepens impossibly more, and my eyes widen at his comment. I can feel his smirk widen at my reaction.
“Oh, cat got your tongue now, has it? Where’s that starkly doll I know so well gone? Just a simple compliment and you’re all lost for words.” He leans further into my neck and breathes in. Then suddenly I feel something hot and wet on my neck, realizing that his tongue is licking it. I let out a whining sigh at the contact. This isn’t what I expected to happen in this particular sparring session, but for some reason… I don’t mind it.
As he’s licking my neck, I feel him start to nibble. Shortly after I feel his teeth lightly dig into my skin, biting down. To my surprise I let out a sudden moan and we both stiffen. Shigaraki is still for a moment and I’m rigid, afraid I ruined the mood. But instead, his smirk returns full force, and he chuckles deeply into my neck.
“Now this is a discovery.”
Suddenly the doors to the training hall shoot open and a bunch of voices are heard talking together and walking inside. Shigaraki’s smirk disappears and he leans away and sits up, releasing my wrists from his tight grip. His face is hidden from me by his long white hair and under his breath I hear; “Party poopers.”
A few hours have passed since my and Shigaraki’s sparring session. I’m currently on my way to the bar where hopefully some of the others are. I don’t feel like being alone right now. As I reach the golden doors and open them inside, I spot Toga and Twice sitting on the couch watching some reality show. I decide to join them. I see an empty spot in the middle of the two and plop down. We sit for a while just watching the show, I guess it’s called paradise hotel and after a while, I hear Toga gasp.
“What happened to your neck??” She says while grabbing into my neck to investigate it. I sat confused for a while when finally.
“It looks like a bite mark!”
Suddenly the sparring session comes to mind again and I realize. Shigaraki left a mark! My hand shoots up to my neck covering it from Toga’s view, much to her dismissal.
“No fair! I wanna have a taste too!!” I blush deeply at the thought of anyone ‘having a taste’ of me. I quickly stand up, with my hand still on my neck and quickly walk to the bathroom that’s located behind one of the doors in the bar room. As I’m inside I lock the door and look at myself in the mirror. There I see my blushed face and indeed the small mark that Shigaraki left behind. It was small, but clearly a hickey.
I stand for a moment feeling the hickey with my fingers. Memories flooding back to me. Shigaraki pinning me to the ground, holding both my wrists in just one hand. His body on top of mine. His voice whispering in my ear and the feel of his teeth against my skin.
I find myself getting lost in daydreaming, so I pull myself back to reality. Fuck! Get yourself together!! I splash some water in my face and walk out the door again. Toga waits excitedly for my return on the couch. She’s sitting on the armrest with her upper body leaning towards me. “So, who gave you that bite mark??” She asks cheekily. I refuse to give her the reaction she wants and simply say “That’s none of your business.” With a smirk on my lips. Her mouth drops open and she mock faints on the couch, falling onto Twice’s lap.
“Oh how cruel! I thought we told each other everything! How the world has failed me!” She mock cries. I chuckle.
“Yeah, the world has failed you, but not in that manner.” She straightens up and watches me over the back of the couch. “No for real though. Who gave you that??” I shrug my shoulders. “No one important.” Toga squints her eyes. “Say iiiiiiiit.” “Nope,” I answer back. “Say it.” I shake my head no. “Say it!” “Nah ah.”
“Say it! Say it! Say it! Say it! Say it! Say it Say it!!!!!”
I lift my hands up in defeat and surrender to her childish ways. “Fine! It was Shigaraki okay.” Then the room got completely quiet. I feel regret in saying it out loud instantly before I hear,
“HAH! I knew he had a thing for her!! Give the 20$ Twice.” Twice flabbergasted gives Toga the twenty dollars.
In my confused state I ask. “Wait, you guys betted on this?” Toga gives a big nod while Twice just shrugs his shoulders. “It was Dabi’s idea.” He says. Goddammit that blue flamed- “So are you and the boss a thing now?” Toga asks. I jolt in surprise at her question, a blush appearing on my face.
“What? No! No, we’re- We’re not a thing… I don’t think…” Toga lets out an exasperated gasp. “You gotta figure that ooout!! Go ask him!!!” She said with full confidence it could only go well. I sigh and say,
“I can’t possibly just ask him.” “Why not?!” She asks. I deadpan at her. “Because that’s lunatic.”
Before I knew it, I’m standing outside of Shigaraki’s office door, with Twice and Toga by my side giving me multiple thumbs-ups. I let out a shaky sigh and knock on the door, the secret message I remember Dabi doing all those weeks ago. I hear a voice from inside call me in, so I open the door and walk inside. Shigaraki is sitting by his desk, with papers scattered around his workplace. Just like the first day I came here. I look behind me and see Toga and Twice in the door opening smiling and waving me on. I roll my eyes and go to close the door, cutting their visuals to the whole situation, but knowing they can still hear through the door.
I try to get Shigaraki’s attention by giving out a couch, announcing I’m present in his room.
“Not going to sneak up on me again, this time?” I stifle a small laugh from the memory of his surprised state the night before.
“Well, no. I’m here to ask you something.” Not taking his eyes off of the paperwork in front of him he says,
“Ask me what?” Suddenly I feel myself getting nervous. I lift one of my hands to rub the back of my neck. “W-well, umm… about this morning… “
This seems to get his attention, as he looks up from his work and looks at me intensely. His eyes burn my skin as he bores them into me. I feel the bite mark flare at his stare.
“Well, you kind of… Left a mark.”
A smirk appeared on his lips as a deep raspy chuckle erupts from him. He gets up from the chair and starts walking towards me.
“If you want another, all you have to do is ask,” He says. His crimson eyes shining in the dark room.
As he walks closer to me, I take a step back. Then another. Then a third. Soon I find myself bumping into the couch and Shigaraki only a half meter from me. He takes one step closer to me, reaching his hand up to my neck. He brushes my hair to the side, viewing the work he did on my neck earlier. He looks down on my neck, then into my eyes.
I find myself getting lost in the endless bloody pools of red. Hypnotized by him and just him. He leans in closer to me, inch by inch his face gets closer to mine. And before I know it our lips are only an inch apart. I can hear my heart beating so fast and hard, it feels like it’s about to explode out of my chest.
“Do you know what you do to me? Maybe you do, for all I know it might be your quirk.” He whispers. I shake my head no. “I’ve never used my quirk on you. Not once.” I feel breathless with him this close to me. “No?” He asks. “Not ever,” I answer.
He lifts his hand up towards my face, carefully caressing my cheek. Then sliding it behind my head, down my neck.
“Tell me to stop.” I hear him say. I lift my own hand and take hold of his wrist, caressing him back. I look deep into his dark crimson eyes, now mostly blacked out by his dilated pupils.
“I’m never going to tell you to stop.” And with that his lips are on mine. I feel his scared lips against my own soft ones. The kiss is sweet and innocent. Lips against lips. I close my eyes, feeling the moment with everything I have. My grip on his wrist tightens, while his grip on my tightens as well. He releases my lips from his and shifts his attention down to my neck once again. Sucking and biting his way up to my ear. He shakily exhales and whispers,
“I’m no good for you, you know. You wouldn’t be happy with me.”
I huff out a breath at his antics, before answering. “That’s for me to decide.” Shigaraki groans at my answer as he goes back to my neck, licking it up and biting at it. I exhale sharply at an especially sharp bite. Moaning his name. He stills for a moment, before leaning back. I look at him confused as he walks to the door and swings it open, resulting in Twice and Toga nearly falling into the room. A murderous look glint in his eyes as he says,
“Get. Out.”
They both scramble to their feet and hurriedly run away. Shigaraki slams the door shut and locks it. As he walks back to me, a smirk is plastered on his face. Without saying a word, he hoists me up in his arms, bridal style, and walks into his bedroom. He kicks the door shut and throws me into the bed. I land on my back with an “uff” and look up at Shigaraki who is standing at the end of the bed. Slowly I watch him crawl onto the bed, in between my legs and then up to me. Reuniting our lips in a kiss. The kiss is filled with a new fire that wasn’t there a minute ago. It’s like someone lit a fire under him, with the way he deepened the kiss. His tongue dances with mine as I moan into the kiss. His hands wander up and down my body, feeling me up. Then suddenly his right hand is in my hair and he pulls . A loud moan escapes me, and he takes the opportunity to kiss and bite down my already bruised neck. Making me squirm under him.
“Shigaraki… Stop teasing…” I moan out, this only seems to heighten the fire in him. He leans back on his knees, quickly pulling his shirt over his head. Leaving his upper body open to the world, no need for one’s imagination. I ogle at him, soaking everything in and committing it to memory. A smirk appears on his lips as he settles down between my legs again.
“I’d ask if you liked what you see, but I’m pretty sure I know the answer to that,” He says with a smug expression. I roll my eyes at him.
“Shut up and kiss me.” And so, he does. With vigor intent he parts my lips and dips his tongue into my mouth again, licking and exploring. We dance for dominance for a moment, but I’m clearly the loser by the way I become undone under him.
He grabs the hem of my shirt and lifts it off, clearly wanting it off and away from my body and in his way. We split the kiss for a second for me to pull my shirt over my head and onto the floor. A small gasp escapes Shigaraki as he sees my bare breasts for the first time. Then a devious smile crosses his face. He lowers himself down my body and kisses and licks the entire way down to my breasts. He grabs one with a half-gloved hand and wraps his mouth to the other, sucking on my nipple. A mewl escapes me and I arch my back when he rubs his teeth against it. As he’s nibbing, sucking and rubbing my breast I feel him getting harder in his pants, he’s rubbing against my pelvis. Fuck I want him. No, I need him . I think.
I grab a fistful of his hair and pull backwards, just as he did with me earlier. He groans at the manhandling before smirking up at me. “The one to manhandle here…” he says, leaning up against me again and grabbing both my wrists in one hand, holding them tightly. Leaning down to my neck again and biting down hard , making me yell out a moan.
“Is me.”
He ends his sentence with a hard thrust into me. I’m already soaking wet and ready for whatever he will give me.
“Please…” I whimper, which only results in making him more animalistic. Biting rougher and harder on my neck and breasts. I try to wiggle free from his grip, but to no one's surprise, it’s like iron.
“You ain’t going anywhere doll. I have you right where I want you.”
And with that he goes back to his antics. His manhandling, thrusting, biting and licking is getting me so close to the edge I almost can’t hold it any longer. I try to signal to Shigaraki that I’m close, but as soon as I do, he stops. Releasing my wrists. I look down in confusion, but quickly figure out what he’s intending to do. I hear his belt buckle unfasten and then a zipper. He throws off his pants and starts working on ripping my shorts off. Soon we’re both without clothes on and ready.
He kisses me again, tongue dancing with tongue. I throw both my hands over his head and wrap them around his neck, to pull him closer to me. I want him closer. More. Please. I need him. Now. I moan into the kiss, before splitting us apart. Tired of his teasing and slow pace I say,
“Are you going to fuck me, or are we just going to lay here all night?”
A dark raspy chuckle comes from his throat. He bites my lip lightly and leans away from me.
“Impatient now, are we?”
Before I can say a snarky come back, I feel his fingers by my entrance. They start rubbing up against me and teasing my clit. I moan when one finger finally enters me. It makes a curling motion inside me and I whine at the feeling. A second finger enters and thrusts deep inside me, still with the curling motion. When the third finger enters, I realize I’m moving my hips to the rhythm of the fingers thrusts. While thrusting his fingers inside me, he has returned his attack on my breasts, sucking and biting my nipples. My moans are loud in the small room we’re in.
Then suddenly he stops again, removing his fingers and his mouth from my breasts. I look down and see him grabbing himself, reading to enter me. I look at him and his crimson eyes now solid black from his blown pupils. His member is bigger than I thought it would be. Scratch that, it’s bloody huge! I gulp at his size; afraid it might not fit and now very happy he stretched me with his fingers. He leans forward again, kissing me lovingly and deeply.
“There’s no going back now, love.”
He says with a dark raspy voice, and I smirk at him.
“I never want to go back again.”
And with that he enters me. Inch by inch I feel his length go deeper until he bottoms out. I let out a small whine at his size inside me, slowly I’m getting used to it. He looks up at me for confirmation to move and I nod down to him. He slowly pulls out, making me feel instantly empty, before thrusting gently in again. I moan out at the contact, feeling full once again.
He repeats this action again and again, pulling out and thrusting in again. Making me moan and whimper under him. Soon his thrusting speeds up and he goes harder. He pulls out to just the tip and then thrust fast and hard in again, hitting the little bundle of nerves inside me. I scream out his name as he hits my g-spot. He groans a moan and keeps up the hard pace. My fingers are scratching his back with my nails, knowing it’ll leave a mark for later. He’s repeatedly hitting my bundle of nerves, getting me close to the edge once again.
“Shigaraki please…”
I whine. This seems to trigger something inside the man. In an instant he turns into an animal. Speeding up his thrust, going deep and hard. He grabs both my wrists with both his half loved hands and pins them up above my head. He looks into my eyes, the deep pools of black overflowing and drowning me. I feel hypnotized. Lost in the feeling of him and just him. He lowers his head to my neck and starts sucking a hard hickey. Suddenly I feel a blinding pain on my neck and scream out a moan and the feeling of Shigaraki biting through skin. Now marking me as his. As his thrusts keep attacking my sweet spot and his bite deepens, I feel myself going over the edge. I let out a loud moan of Shigaraki’s name and come undone. Shigaraki releases my neck and looks deeply into my eyes as he pants out.
“You’re mine.”
He leans his forehead onto my shoulder panting more, clearly close to the edge as well.
“You belong to me now.”
He rasps out and I moan at the thought of belonging to someone. Then finally he comes undone. I feel his cum shoot inside me, filling me up to the brim. I let out another whimpering moan at the feeling. Shigaraki collapses on top of me, releasing my wrists from his ironclad grip. He slowly rolls off of me, keeping himself inside me for a little while longer.
We both lay there for a while, trying to catch our breaths. Then suddenly Shigaraki grabs me and starts pulling me closer to him, hugging me close to his body. I wrap my arms around his torso and his arms around my shoulder and head. I lay with my head on top of his chest and listen to his heartbeat. It’s beating fast, though slowly slowing down after some time. I feel my eyelids start to get heavy and slowly I feel myself fall asleep in my lover's arms.
-
I feel myself slowly waking up. I feel the soft recognizable mattress under me and the equally soft blanket on top of me. Just like before. The only difference is the hard body laying behind me. I try turning around, but his arms around me are tightly holding me in place. I try wriggling some more, trying to turn around in his arms until I hear,
“Quit squirming around.”
A smile appears on my face, and I lean my head backwards, landing on his shoulder. I look up, trying to make eye contact with him, but I fail miserably as I only see the door to the bathroom over his shoulder. He finally relents my constant moving around and lets go of his tight grip, letting me turn around and face him.
I look up into his bright crimson eyes, letting my smile widen further. He stares down at me, with a straight tired face, before a small smile appears on his lips. We lay there for a while, just staring at each other, before I say,
“Good morning.”
He lets out a sigh and smiles further, “Good morning doll.” He seems to really have gotten a liking for that pet name, but I don’t mind. I like it too.
My eyes unconsciously go down from his eyes to his lips, looking at the slightly dry skin and the prominent scar there. I reach a hand up towards his face to caress the scar on his upper lip. He leans into my touch and sighs with content. I move my hand along his face to the back of his head, while leaning in for a kiss. He leans forward, meeting me halfway. The kiss is slow and sweet. No rush, no haste, no ill intent. Just a sweet, loving morning kiss.
We lay in bed for a while longer, just feeling the need to be close to each other. No rush in the world, bit just this moment right here, right now.
When suddenly there’s a loud knock on the door to the main office room. Shigaraki lets out an irritated sigh and lets go of me. He stands up and walks over to the closet to get dressed, while I sit on the bed just watching him. Once dressed he opens the door and walks into the main room, greeting whoever is at the door.
I plop down on the bed again, thinking of the night prior. It was unexpected, but amazing. I can’t believe it actually happened. It almost feels like a dream. I let out a low squeal in excitement over having a lover and one as powerful and as kind as Shigaraki himself.
Suddenly I hear the outside door close with a smack and a frustrated Shigaraki reinters the bedroom. Under his breath I can hear him curse someone out. Probably the person at the door. I sit up and look at him concerned. He sees the concern on my face and instantly goes soft. He sits down next to me and strokes my face with his still half gloved hand. I lean into his touch, closing my eyes for a moment before reopening them to look up into his.
“Who was at the door?”
I ask. He lets out another irritated sigh and tells me it was just one of the thugs in the tower letting him know the plan has been confirmed and passed on to the rest of the organization. I nod.
I stand up and find my clothes scattered on the ground and ask him,
“Wanna spar?”
The sparring session went like always. Me only getting a few hits in, but him ultimately winning. I don’t think I’ll ever win over him. We return to his quarters and decide to play some video games. But before we start, I need to visit the bathroom really quickly. I’m not sure which door I should go through to get to the bathroom, since the first time I was asleep when I entered it and the second time I was carried in the dark. I go for the door to the right and ask,
“It’s this door, right?”
Shigaraki glances over the couch and sees my hand on the doorknob. “No wait, don’t go in that-!” But before he can finish his sentence and I can react to it; the door is already open, and I look inside. Inside are hands mounted to the walls in different sizes. I count fourteen hands in total. Shigaraki runs up to me trying to cover the sight of the hands in front of me, by standing in front of me. I push him aside and walk inside the room, confusion running through my body. Why in the world does he have hands mounted in a room…
I look behind me to watch him, confusion still evident in my expression. A big question just ready to be asked. He looks down at the floor, eyes going dark as he says,
“This… is my family.”
I stand, shock and confusion written all over my face, not understanding what he means by ‘his family’. I start to feel a chill going through my body. I wait patiently for him to continue, but he says nothing. I turn around to look at him and see he's still looking down at the ground. Why isn’t he speaking? What could this possibly mean to him? Is the hands a symbol from his family? Like an armorial bearing? I walk up to him and cup his cheek in my hand, lifting his head making him look me in the eyes. I stare into his now dark crimson eyes. Void of any emotion but sorrow. A feeling of sadness overtakes the chill from before. I give him a weak smile, concerned by his behavior.
“Will you explain to me, please?”
Shigaraki lets out a long sigh, filled with sadness. He looks behind me at the hands on the walls, then back at me. Worry clear in his mind he starts,
“When I was a kid, all I wanted was to be a hero. To save and help the people in need, but my father he… He wouldn’t allow it. His mother was a hero. She left him behind to pursue her dreams. So ever since he's hated heroes, punishing me every time I brought up the topic of wanting to become a hero myself. I had an older sister who always tried to comfort me, and my mother tried as well to protect me from him, but she rarely succeeded. We lived with my grandparents, but they couldn’t do anything, since my father was the man of the house… So, I was stuck suffering by his hands for years.”
Looking up at him, a deep feeling of sorrow runs through my body. I desperately want to say something, anything, to comfort him, ease his pain, but he continues before I get the chance.
“When I was five years old, my quirk was bound to appear any day. Sadly, the day it came was a tragic day. Early in the day my sister brought me to my father’s study, showing me a picture of him and his mother, telling me my father’s mother was a hero. This gave me hope, that I’ll one day also become a hero, sadly that hope didn’t last long. When evening came my father found out about me and my sister was in his study. My sister put the blame on me, so I got the punishment. Afterwards I was sitting in the back garden, petting my dog while crying, when suddenly he turned to ashes in my hands. I sat confused for a while before my sister came out to apologize. Once she saw the remains of our dog in my arms, she screamed and tried to run away, but I was confused and grabbed on to her, to get help. But instead, I turned her into ashes as well. At this point I was screaming and crying. The ground under me was withering away and slowly getting destroyed by my quirk. My mother came to me, to try and help me, but she withered away before I could even come to her. Then my father came out and saw what I’ve done. He got furious and tried to beat me up again, so I killed him. Before I knew it my whole family had turned to ash and my childhood home was no longer. I traveled to the city, desperate to find a hero and get help. But everyone ignored me. No one wanted to help and instead just walked by me.”
His tone started to get angry.
“No one even looked at me. No hero came. No cops came. No one came to save me… I was all alone, until my master found me. He found the remains of my family. These hands. I’ve kept them ever since. They are the only thing I have left of them.”
Tears now starting to roll down his cheeks, he looks down at me to see me crying as well. Big heavy tears rolling down my cheeks as I’ve listened to his story. Now it all makes sense. Why he is like he is and why he despises heroes so much. No one was ever there for him!
I start to feel anger boiling up inside me as I say.
“Bastards! How could they just ignore a lost child? A child so clearly in despair!”
I look him in the eyes, tears still streaming down. I cup his face in both my hands and with a determined look I say,
“No matter what happens, I promise you I will always be here for you. You will never be alone again. Do you hear me?”
He looks at me incredibly. Eyes wide at my reaction, expecting me to run away in fear.
“What happened to your family was not your fault. You were a child with a very new, very powerful quirk. You had no chance of controlling it.” I say to him, he lifts his one hand to cup one of mine cupping his face. He holds it tightly and looks deeply into my eyes.
“But I killed my father. That was no accident.”
I pull him close into a tight hug.
“He has punished you so many times for something so normal in our world, to want to become a hero. Of course, you were angry at him. And then in your weakest moment, you saw an opportunity to end your misery, by killing him, by making him go away. Tomura, you were a child. A sweet innocent child that should never have gone through all that. My poor boy, if only you had just one person to look your way and help you when you were all alone back then, but no. The world is cruel, and you were all alone.”
I say anger in my voice. I then pull back and look him deeply in the eyes.
“But you’re not alone anymore. You have me.”
Shigaraki blinks the tears in his eyes away, when he realizes I was right. He wasn’t alone anymore. A small smile appears on his lips before he hugs me tightly again and whispers,
“Thank you.”
We stand quiet for a moment, just embracing each other. Feeling this moment up. But we aren’t able to be in it for long, when suddenly an alarm starts blaring in the whole facility. I let go of Shigaraki to look around and the red lights blinking. I look back at him in confusion, to see an angry determined expression.
“The heroes are here.”
-
We run out of the building to be greeted by a mob of heroes surrounding the hotel. A cold sweat runs down my back as I feel dread swallow me up. How are we possibly going to defeat all these heroes?! Behind us I hear multiple footsteps, I look back and see the entire facility’s members out and ready to fight.
I turn to look at Shigaraki, who has a wide grin on his lips. He lowers himself, ready to attack. Under his breath I hear,
“What took you so long?”
With that he touches the ground and in a straight line, the ground crumbles for about fifty meters. Nearly getting one of the scumbag heroes.
The battle starts and the heroes and villains run into it, ferociously attacking each other. I run into the battlefield to try to get my surroundings and the location of my comrades. I look to my right to see Twice, no two of him. No three. No, there are tons of them multiplying, fighting an army of heroes trying to make their way through.
I stop in my tracks as a blast of blue fire shoots right next to me, burning a nearby hero to ashes. I look to the source and see Dabi throwing fire in every direction.
“Look out, your dumbass. These bastards are everywhere!” He yells out after me. I nod to him in response.
To my left I see Toga running up to me. I turn around and we bump our backs into each other, protecting each other from backwards attacks. A flying hero comes up to us and I see Toga throw a dark looking thing with a tube connected to it. It hits the hero and blood is quickly sucked though the tube and into Toga’s mask. She does this with multiple heroes. Turning into one of them, she runs off and salutes me for having her back. I salute back.
A hero runs up to me to attack. I easily dodge and hit my opponent square on the abdomen, making them fall to their knees. As I look at the hero on the ground, I notice that they’re nothing but a teenager. But I thought you had to be much older to become a pro hero? I take a look around and realize almost half if not more are merely teenagers. What the hell is going on here? No wonder this felt so easy, we’re fighting children! What the hell did the heroes think about, sending children into battle?! Are they not manned enough, that they must seek help from highschoolers?!
I look off into the distance and spot Shigaraki. I’m about to head over to him, when I suddenly spot a man with a fire beard and another in a blue, red and white suit. All Might and Endeavor! If I go to his side, I won’t be of any help up against those two pros’. I’ll only be in the way . They might even use me as his weakness. But I can’t just stand here and do nothing!
As I try making up my mind, I notice something. Something inside of me is screaming at me. Screaming to turn around. I slowly do as my instincts say and as soon as I do my eyes widen. There, out in the battlefield is none other than the spawn to my misery. My dear little brother.
I see villains try to attack him, but he uses his quirk again and again to persuade them to go away or falter. Rage fills me as he does what he has always done and uses his stupid quirk to get what he wants and get on top. His quirk is the reason why my parents never gave me any attention. The reason why I never got any love from them. He took it all with his quirk . I step forward and crawl onto a boulder that has fallen. I face him and yell out to get his attention.
“Hey!”
He looks at the direction of my yell and instantly I see his face change. The confident and smug look he was sporting before, is now a terrified widened look. I yell out again,
“I heard a rumor!”
I pause taking in his horrified body language and scared expression.
“That my brother’s quirk disappeared.”
With that I see his body weaken and he falls to his knees. I jump down the boulder and start walking towards him. I see a hero running towards me with snake-like hair. A smile spread across my lips as I say,
“I heard a rumor, that you turned to stone.” And with that she turned to stone, stopping her in her tracks. Another hero comes towards me from my right, it looks like he has a hardening quirk. I whisper out,
“I heard a rumor, that your legs got merged to the ground.” Again, the hero stopped in their tracks. Suddenly I hear explosions on top of me and I see a boy flying through the air, with explosions forming from his hands. I quickly stepped to the side, so as to not get hit by one of the boys’ explosions. I growl out in anger.
“I heard a rumor, that your quirk went back to elementary school abilities!” Right after the words left my mouth, he fell to the ground and only sparks could be heard now.
I finally reach my brother’s side. He looks up at me, fear evident in his eyes. I smile down at him and lay my hand on his head. Before suddenly punching him in the face, making him fly a meter away. He quickly gets up on his feet, getting into a fighting stance. I let out a huff of laughter, looking down at him.
“So now you man up and fight? When you got nothing else to protect you.” He scowls at me, not saying anything. “What? Have nothing to say, now that I’ve taken your quirk?” Again, he says nothing. Anger starts filling me up as I look at his pathetic attempt at heroism. “You think you’re better than me?!” I yell walking towards him again.
He punches out after me, but I easily dodge it. “You’re nothing.” Another punch comes my way, and again I dodge to the side. “You weren’t ever anything.” I take a step closer, and he takes a step back. “Ever since we were children you’ve used your quirk to get exactly what you wanted. Well… Is this what you wanted?”
He swoops his foot under my feet, to try and make me lose my balance, but I quickly get it back, punching him in the abdomen. “Did you want to fight your only sister? Make her life miserable ? Ruin her, to her breaking point?” I kick him straight in the face, making him fall to his side. “Is it?!” I walk around him. “Get up.” I say, stopping. “Get up and fight me!”
He jumps back up on his feet, punching out blow after blow. Some miss and others hit. He lands a punch straight to my abdomen, making me take a step back. A smile spreads across my lips.
“Yes, just like that.” I whisper and attack him again with a flurry of punches and kicks. He dodges when I kick after his head and punches me in the face in return. Blood now running down my nose, I wipe it away with the back of my hand.
“How’s that feel? Huh? To not only hurt me psychologically, but physically too.” I say taking a step forward and launching a punch into his face. Making him take a couple steps back. He looks up at me, with tired and exhausted eyes. His body’s not used to this amount of assault. I laugh out loud.
“What? The golden boy’s out of breath?” I jump into the air and sucker punch him in the face. He falls to the ground and spits blood out on the ground. The sight sent a shrill up my spine. I whirl around, kicking him in the face again. Punch after punch I land on him, making his injuries worsen by the second.
Then I land my final punch, upper cutting him making him fly away and land on the ground. Motionless. I huff out a breath and turn around. I gotta go help Shigaraki. Where did he go? I stand up straight and look around for him. Worry getting a hold of me just before I spot him on the farthest side. He turns my way and we lock eyes. I smile brightly at him, and he smiles back. Suddenly his demeanor changes and he starts running towards me, but before I can figure out why, I feel a hot sting go through me. I look down, to see the front of a blade sticking right through me. What…? I hear a loud yell in the far distance. I look back over my shoulder and see my brother, with the shaft in hand. Shock waves over me. He… But I… Shock turns to anger and before I can make another thought I growl out.
“I heard a rumor, that you couldn’t breathe.”
In an instant he starts to gasp and hive after air. As he steps back, he pulls out the dagger. As soon as the dagger is pulled out, I cough up a splutter of blood. Falling to my knees I hear near footsteps approaching me. As I fall, I feel someone grabbing hold of me, gently laying me down in their lap. I look up to see Shigaraki looking down at me, tears brimming in his eyes. Panic taking over him, from the sight of blood oozing out of my wound.
“No… No! This can’t be happening!” I hear him yell. I start to feel tiredness taking over my body.
“You’re going to be alright; I promise! We- We’re going to fix you up and everything will be fine.”
Dread is now taking over my body at the severity of the situation. I feel my clothes slowly getting soaked by my own blood. Is this really how I go out? Dying in the arms of the man I love? I look up at him with a gentle smile.
“It’s going to be okay…” I try to reassure him but instead feel his tears falling on my cheeks. I lift my hand up to his face, caressing his cheek gently.
“I have to go soon… “
“No! You can’t leave me! You promised to stay! You promised I’d never be alone again!”
Tears form in my eyes as I look at the disheveled form of love of my life. The love of my life? That’s right. After everything we’ve been through, I’ve felt my feelings slowly build for this man. For them to extend to true love, I had never imagined.
His grip on me feels so desperate. Desperate to not let me go and lose me forever. I feel my arm getting tired and my eyes getting drowsy. I don’t have much time left. I must tell him how I feel.
“Shigaraki… I- Arh! “ A sudden pain from my wound stops me from finishing my sentence. He holds me tightly in his arms, fat tears falling from his eyes and into my face, rolling down to my ears and then landing on the ground below us. The world has gone silent around us. Like it has frozen the battle in time. So only the two of us are in this moment together.
“You can’t leave me… You promised…” Shigaraki cries. He’s beautiful when he cries. His crimson eyes light up in this special way, that you can see every emotion he’s ever felt towards you. I feel a warmth spreading through my heart at the thought, yet my body grows colder and colder by the second.
“I’m sorry…”
I say, saddened. My own tears rolling down my cheeks uncontrollably. I have to tell him. Before it’s too late. My hand on his cheek weakened. It’s impossibly hard to keep it up. I feel tired. My entire body feels numb. I don’t want to die… My tears slow down as a tiredness I’ve never felt before comes over me. My hand falls to the ground, but he picks it up and lifts it to his face again. Crying into it while looking down at me.
“Please…” He begs me to stay. To not leave him like everyone else he’s loved has.
“Tomura I…”
My vision starts to blur and go black in the corners of my eyes.
“I…”
As I try to utter my last words, my eyes slowly close shut and the numbness takes over my entire being.
As suddenly as I came into the world, just as suddenly was I taken away.
