Chapter Text
Marge was pissed. Of course she took in Todd, why wouldn't she? But abandoning a kid because he didn't believe in God anymore. That was ridiculous.
The next day, Marge stomped to Ned's house, at the crack of dawn. She hoped Flanders was rudely woken up, that was less than he deserved. "I'm coming! I'm coming!" Ned opened the door to see Marge, "Did Todd do something wrong?"
"No, he did not. You did Ned Flanders." "What could I have possibly diddly doo wrong?" "Kicking a poor kid out because he doesn't follow your religion, what kind of low life parent does that?" "You don't understand, I don't want him to go to hell. You can accept your kids going to hell, but I can't!" "EXCUSE ME!" Marge was tempted to slap Ned. "My kids are going to heaven. And even if they do go to hell, at least my kids are happy here. If you're that worried about hell, then make Todd's life here heaven.
Give him a happy life since you believe he is awaiting a miserable afterlife. Because if you don't, you may lose him forever. I doubt you care.”
Flanders couldn't sleep that night. He kept dreaming about Todd not calling him dad anymore or being sent to hell. Ned got out of bed and prayed, "God, please tell me what to do. I don't want to lose my son, but I don't want him going to hell either."
