Work Text:
It was a usual monday morning in the Akademiya, but most scholars are up early today as they review their research proposals to be submitted to the scribe who's still not present. Sleep deprived students are looking stressed, worried that their researches may not get accepted again by the scribe. On the other hand, some students seemed to be present only to take an atleast small glance of the scribe's face.
"I wonder how he managed to do it by himself? I mean, just by thinking about it? It's literally unbelievable!" Iris says, one of the scholars.
"I know! I also wonder where he buys those products? I could've known since I have a friend who works at the Store," Sitt added.
"What if he buys it at another shop though?" Another scholar joined the conversation.
"What do you mean? Sumeru has only one store who sells those kind of stuff!" Sitt says, brows furrowed.
"And it's so out of personality!" She added. "Idk! I was just saying!" The scholar argues.
"Well, you're making no sense!" "As if you do?!"
"Oh both of you shut up, he's here!" Iris says, stopping them from causing a commotion.
The awaited scribe enters the place, proving the gossips about him as he wears proudly his well-done eyeliner. Without any hesitation, they went straight to him to ask.
"You're looking good today, sir!" Iris begins, followed by Sitt, and another scholar of scholars who seemed curious and wanted to know it too. With an annoyed face, Alhaitham let out a loud sigh which made the scholars stop.
"Leave me alone." He spoke in an ancient language that only a few knows.
"Uh- what did he say?" Sitt asks, whispering.
"I have no idea, why are you even asking me? You're the haravatat scholar here," Iris says, looking confused as well.
"Yeah! We should be the one asking you that, no?" The scholar earlier banters wearing a smug look on his face.
"You-" Sitt was cut by the person who entered the place, carrying a lunch box.
"Haitham!" A beautiful blonde man enters the place, heading closer to Alhaitham.
"You forgot your lunch! Why are you in such a hurry anyway? It's not like you were running late?" He said, scolding the scribe. He gave the lunch box to Alhaitham and tiptoed as he held his face, observing something.
"Hm, still fine. Alright, just keep it that way!" He says while holding the scribe's chin.
"I told you it'll look good on you! The eyeliner really popped your eyes out very well, as I expected..." He added and pulled out his hand.
"I- what was that?" He caress his cheek softly with a flustered face after the scribe kissed him.
"A form of gratitude, hm?" Alhaitham smiles, enjoying it as his hands made their way through the blonde's waist to pull him closer.
"Aren't you aware of the scholars staring at us right now?" He mumbled.
"I am," He kissed a peck on his other cheek again, making him blush as red as a tomato.
"Thank you, Kaveh." He let out a small laugh as he enjoyed his lover's flustered face.
"You did not need to do that, you brute!" Alhaitham made an amused face, teasing him. And before Kaveh could utter another word, he gave another peck, but on his lips this time.
"You- I'm going now!" Kaveh walks out of the place, his face a blushing mess. Meanwhile...
"Wait, so...?" Iris gasped.
"He's the one behind it! Senior Kaveh!" Sasani says proudly.
"And they're a couple, how come I did not know about this?" Iris says in disbelief.
"You're a vahumana student, what would you know about the present?" That one scholar earlier joined the conversation again, now earning him a glare from Iris and Sitt.
-Earlier-
"Don't forget your lunch, it's on the table in the kitchen." Kaveh says, holding the stick of the eyeliner. He is currently applying it on Alhaitham, who hasn't taken his eyes off him ever since he sat on his lap.
"Stay still. One move and I'll poke your eyeballs off." He says as he starts drawing on his eyelid carefully. Too focused but still quick to notice his lover's hands going down from his waist, left hand taking the lead. Kaveh was left speechless for a second, how the hell is he doing it confidently with eyes closed?
"Stop that," Kaveh reprimanded as he continued on what he's doing.
"Stop what?" He said innocently. His hand continued going on what it's aiming for, causing Kaveh to click his tongue and glared at him. He knows he wouldn't even see it but he still did it anyway.
"I mean it, Haitham. Stop that or else,"
"Or else what?" Haitham smiles, as he enjoys teasing his lover. His hand now grabbing the latter's butt cheek slowly, while he continued on putting his innocent act in front of him. Kaveh tried to ignore it by busying himself to finish on what he's doing. By the time he concluded, he immediately slapped his lover's hand resting on his butt.
"Done. You can go now, Mr. Scribe." He simply says as he was about to stand up from sitting, hands grabbed his waist keeping him stay still.
"Alhaitham!" He hit his shoulder lightly as he struggled on trying to get off the latter's lap, who's now stifling his laughter.
"What?"
"Let me go!" Kaveh says in a serious tone and a faint blush appearing on his face. The other casually shook his head, when Kaveh tries to remove his arms around his waist.
"Hayi, get off of me.." His cheeks darkening when the other gripped his hands on his tiny waist.
"I won't, unless you give me my morning kiss."
"Didn't I already give you one earlier?" Kaveh says, his hands snuggling the latter's neck.
"Hm, not enough." He answered with a small pout, his hands holding Kaveh's waist tighter—pulling him closer.
Kaveh rolled his eyes but eventually gave him a peck on his lips and forehead, "There. Satisfied?"
Alhaitham nodded, a big smile formed on his lips as he finally let go of his lover. And before heading through, he pulled his lover in and gave him an embrace.
"I love you."
He says, giving kisses on top of his head before heading out of their home.
"I love you too!" Says Kaveh with a loving smile before turning around to head through the kitchen. His smile fading away as he realized what's on the table.
Alhaitham forgot his lunch box.
