No one has ever seen Welsknight without his armor… This may be an exaggeration, but you get my point.
Wels build with his armor,
Fights with his armor,
Swim with his armor,
Sleeps with his armor.
Most Hermits have never seen him without it.
It’s not a big thing! X never gets his armor off too, but at least he they know is because he needs it to survive. Wels in other points, just wears his iron armor everywhere without an apparent motive besides being on brand with his own name.
The Hermits like to gossip, so the great question “What is under Wels armor”, is something that occasionally the hermits like to theorize. It's not something that brings great fervor, or that anyone really has gone out of their way to find the answer, but it’s fun.

All his siblings have a very hard and protective shell and kid Wels was a little envious, can you blame him? His parents treated Wels like he was glass! So in his adolescent years he enlisted himself in the Knights army from his server and never took the armor off, Because somehow It soothes his hybrid instincts and he feels very safe like this.
Yes he sleeps with the armor, he is an Hermit he can be a little eccentric ok? But he cleans his armor and has multiple sets, so you can’t judge him too much.
