Jay had to leave early to go help homicide with a case along with Voight. So it was up to Hailey to get Jesse ready for school. Jackie was suppose to come pick him up to take him to school. Hailey woke up and looked at the clock she was already 30 minutes late
H=oh crap!
She ran upstairs
H=Jesse get up. Jesse! Jesse! Where are you this is not the time to hide we are late.
Jesse loves playing hide and seek
20 minutes passed
H=you know what Jesse you can explain to your teacher and your mother why you were late. Your dad had a very important case to work this morning and it was up to us to be responsible
She went to get the peanut butter out the cabinets to make Jesse's lunch.
As soon as she opened the cabinet Jesse jumped out.
H=oh my God!
Jesse=hahah, I scared you
H=you're not funny get down from there and go put your clothes on
Jesse started running around the kitchen Hailey started running after him. When she finally caught him he fell on the ground while she tried to get his shirt on.
Jackie=wow Jesse you look like you're having fun
Jesse=mommy!
He said running to the the door
Jackie=well Hailey I will take care of this
H=I'm sure you will,umm wait before you leave I have his lunch
Jackie=no j got him organic no gmos no sugar no added carbs vegan lunch
H=okay then
Jesse="bye Hailey" he said in a laughing voice
H=bye Jesse
Jackie put Jesse in her car
Jackie=so how do you like Hailey
Jesse=she's nice
Jackie=really does she make you good lunch
Jesse=yeah it taste good
Jackie=that's because it's not good for your body
Jesse=why not
Jackie=because it has a lot of sugars and not healthy things in it especially for a little boy like you
Jesse=okay
Hailey was walking in the district
J=hey
H=hey
J=so how was it this morning
H=well besides the fact I woke up 30 minutes late then your son hid from me for 20 minutes and I had to chase him and wrestle him to the ground to get him to put his shirt on oh and your baby mama refuses to let Jesse eat the lunch I make for him
J=I'm sorry I'll try to not leave early
H=it's fine we're married when I married you that means Jackie became my problem too and I love Jesse even when he is a pain in the ass
Jay laughs
J=well he definitely can be that, but that pain in the ass is my world
H=I know he is
J=thank you for understanding and dealing with Jackie
H=of course
That night at Jackie's house
Jackie=hey sweetie
Jesse=hey mommy
Jackie=you don't know how bad I missed you the last two weeks, did you have fun at your dads?
Jesse=yes ma'am me,Hailey and dad stayed up late Saturday night and watched movies and ate popcorn
Jackie=really
Jesse=yep
Jackie=did you eat supper?
Jesse=Hailey fixed me spaghetti
Jackie=you know that noodles aren't good for you
Jesse=but they taste good
Jackie=we've had this conversation before now come eat your asparagus and peppers

At Hailey and Jays place
H=do you think Jesse likes me
J=Babe Jesse is a six year old boy he likes anyone who is nice to him now Jackie might not but I'm know for a fact that Jesse does
H=but I mean how long can Jesse like me when his mother hates me
J=listen Jackie believe it or not does have Jesse's best interest in heart
H=I know I just don't get why she is the way she is I haven't done anything to her or to Jesse
J=don't let it bother you okay just keep treating Jesse right and do what's best for him and then she'll eventually come around.
H=Jay we need to talk
J=what about
H=I'm late

H=on my period
J=oh.. umm okay have you bought a test
H=yeah but I haven't taken it yet I wanted you to be with me when I did
J=ok so when do you want to take it
H=well we can take it now if you want
J=alright that's fine with me
They walked into the bathroom
H=did you set the timer
J=yep
H=what are we gonna do if I'm pregnant
J=we will just figure it out
H=how I mean we just got married a month ago and now this and Jesse is barely even 6 years old I don't want him to feel like we are trying to replace him
J=hey he will be okay don't need to worry about Jesse right now
H=you're right
The timer went off
H=you wanna look
J=yeah I will....
J=Hailey! Oh my gosh
H=what
J=you're pregnant
H=you're joking
J=look
Hailey looked and sure enough there were two pink lines
H=oh wow
