The Wrong Brother

Summary:

You were an avid Sans fan from a little game called UnderTale. Admit it. You had his merch, the fanfics, plushies, the whole stick for the blue-wearing hoodie older brother. That is if you were talking about any of the whole counterparts of certain AUs. Yeah, you were over-crazed of one skeleton that flat-out didn't exist. Yet. In one single night, you were transported to the said life you dreamed about from your already boring dull human life. To finally live the day of being with the skeleton of your dreams. Unfortunately; those said dreams of yours would break knowing the skeleton you loved and related so much wasn't the guy that was meant for you. Instead, a tall, red scarf-wearing, spaghetti-making skeleton was the guy of your dreams. Let's just say you weren't suspecting the turn of events, especially, with becoming a skeleton yourself.

Chapter Text

All you remembered was sleeping peacefully away in bed. Curled around plushies, pillows, and your little black cat Prince of Darkness (yes, that's his name) the day before work. Not waking in some dingy hospital room hooked up to the galore.

The first sense was you're waking up to overwhelmingly of strong disinfectants and beeping. Your head pounded to hear the beeping of monitors and maybe a tv. Somehow opening up your eyes to the normal silhouette of a bland cream and green room. A tv was on of some silly cartoon, the curtain was open to the right with a bright light knowing the door was open; you felt scratchy in whatever gown and grippy socks they put you in.

How did you get here??

Did your apartment catch fire, did something happen?

It slightly panicked you, pulling up to a sitting position and breathing heavily with the appointed nose oxygen tube and an overabundance of IVs hooked to you. The worst was seeing your arm, but no skin just bone. Wait, bone. Did you burn to death? Sweat started to appear looking at your once fleshy arm and taking account of the other arm. Sliding the white itchy comforter to seeing bone legs to blue grip socks. In one way, it was for real, in another a dream you fantasied over your little fandom from Undertale.

Was this real? A dream you overly played and fantasized overly to an extent.

"Oh, your awake miss," a voice said from your overly panicked state. A female nurse walked in wearing pink scrubs, a proper RN badge, and a very big smile on her lips. "Where am I," you croaked as not used your voice in years. The nurse went over to the computer propped up by your bed and scanned her badge. "You're at Ebbot City General Hospital sweetie," she said typing probable nurse stuff. Wait, did she say EBBOT?

Like MOTHERFUCKING EBBOT FROM UNDERTALE.

Your head swam in so many miles, to the nurse checking over your vitals, IVs, and overall health. "May I ask some questions, sweetie," she asked sitting by your stun face, no skull. You wish you knew what your now skeleton face looked like. Nodding, she smiled taking yer hand upon hers. "Can you tell me yer name and month of your birth please,"? "My name is Emily Frederick and I was born May 4th, 2000," you croaked more, god you hated how yer voice broke. "Well it's nice to meet you, Emily, I'm your nurse Carly and will be taking care of you, do remember anything," she asked.

To the blank of any memory of somehow ending up in the world you dreamed of, you couldn't place how. So, you shook no for an answer. "I-I don't know, how did I get here," you asked. Carly hummed, "My dear they found you at the side of some highway off the Exit to a busy intersection and were taken by ambulance over," she said to your growing eyes or eye sockets.

You were found by a highway, but usually in your fanfics, you wake to a dingy basement to some smoking machine.

Guess, fanfics aren't always a calling card for landing in your dream skeletons' arms.

You huffed, letting to kneel your skull on your chest to the more questions from Carly. Mostly, if you had family, friends, or where you came from. It kinda tore at your heart (soul) knowing you weren't in the same reality as your dad or mom. The brim of tears stung from not seeing your Prince of Darkness, family, and your best friend Luca, just all alone. Bringing your knees up to your chest and hugging them close. You were alone.

Carly wiped your blue tears and gave you a very big hug knowing that tears were falling. "It's okay sweetie, Mrs. Sky a police officer is here to help you," she said after sobbing into her chest. "O-okay," you stutter with Carly getting up and helping you under the blankets. You watch her leave, making sure the remote was within reach for you, and one last hug.

Being alone again to the distant sound of still playing cartoons. A knock came from the door to a bubble-looking monster in a full police uniform. You question, how it has a face and bubbles form to a perfect female body. Somehow, you will never know. The monster or Mrs. Sky came in looking over a clipboard. "Good day Miss Emily," she said almost bubbly way. "Hi," you mutter pulling back your blanket-covered legs to a once-chested hug.

The bubble monster sat in a rolling chair next to the hospital computer. She asked questions mostly about origins, family, and anybody that can help you. In which had no answer only barreling yourself in a mental grave. Mrs. Sky was a nice lady, appointing things to help you and saying someone was coming by to talk to you tomorrow. It kinda gave hope in your sudden predicament. After talking for a while, she gave you a shake of your hand and left leaving you once again alone.

This was your life now. Turning on your side and going into a fetal position. You might be an Undertale fan, but you weren't ready of leaving everything from your world. No more kisses and hugs from mom and dad. No more messing with your favorite demon cat or hanging with Luca. Just gone. You wiped the tears away that didn't stop. Maybe meeting the skeleton of your dreams might help bring a spark to you. Sans was your all-time favorite character and seeing him in real life, god would be any Sans fan girl's dream. You smile under the water streak of your teary face. Maybe, you prayed.

~<~<~<~<~

After a hassle of reality change and getting sleep in an uncomfortable hospital room. You woke up to a warm breakfast of French toast sticks with a bowl of sorted fruit. A nice carton of milk and a cup of water. Your energy greatly improved, especially, to give you the chance of a shower.

Carly unhooked you from oxygen to help you with the still IV that was pricked in your arm. You finally saw your now skeleton body. It wasn't like a Sans or Papyrus, even the other alternates of them. No, you were mid-5'5 in height, feminine, but stocky like your once human body. The only thing was your face, you had freckles all over and huge aqua-blue eye lights. Kinda like the creepy version of Underswap Sans Blueberry, you hoped if there was a Blue here he wasn't that innocent psycho.

But, it was still you from a human turned into a skeleton. Weird.

A nice shower and proper fresh gown with new grip socks felt ten thousand better than the ick feeling on your bones. Brushing teeth to get proper nutrition also helped too. You missed your hair, but didn't at all bother you. As a human you didn't care much about your hair, just throwing it up and out the way was more your style. Carly even got new sheets with blankets to settle up before the visitors came.

After being properly taken care of, to the less dread of the whole situation. You settled on watching the still-view cartoon channel of some baby show. Was it Bubble Guppies? You were curled up to the oxygen back in your nonexistent nose waiting on the arrivals.

Knock. Knock.

"Come in," you call drinking the water from the foam cup with lid and straw. On cue, two silhouettes of skeletons came into view. You nearly spitted the water at the Tale brothers.

It was him.

Sans was standing in front of you in all his smiling blue hood glory. God, you were blushing so freaking hard with the water cup tightly in your hands. Papyrus was there too, smiling like always, but dressed not his normal battle body but more in regular clothes still wearing his very red scarf.

"Hey kiddo, I'm Sans the skeleton," Sans said. "HELLO, LITTLE SKELETON AND I AM THE GREAT PAPYRUS," Papyrus spoke in his proper overly proud voice. They were talking to you, not in reading form, but actually in the bone (pun intended) talking to you. The overwhelm of sweat and static looking at the two you gawked over since sophomore year in high school. "H-hi, I'm just E-Emily," you muster waving a little. Sans kept his smirk taking a seat in the visitor's chair and Papyrus standing with both hands on his hips. "Heard ya appear out in a highway," he said eyeing very distantly to a bored expression.

Sitting down in the water and taking to clasping your hands out of nervous habit. "Y-yes sir, I-I don't how I got there, just appeared," you say to him leaning his elbow on the chair's armrest and palm under his skulls chin. "Appear, odd very odd did ya come from an alternate world perhaps,"? God, he knew how to get under your once human skin. "Cause kid, yer not a Sans or Papyrus," he said giving a proper sign of I don't trust you. Papyrus looked at his brother and back at you questioning as well. "I-I don't know sir, j-just appeared I didn't mean it to happen," you struggle to say in your idol's blank questioning white eye lights.

"BROTHER, STOP SCARING MISS LADY EMILY SHE HAS ENOUGH ON HER PLATE," Papyrus spoke to the tense atmosphere. You mentally thank the tall skeleton for the save from the darkening gaze. "Sorry bro, habit, guess kid you're stuck with us," Sans said looking back to normal lazy gaze. "Stuck," you ask looking at the two questioningly. "YES, MISS LADY EMILY OUR HOUSEHOLD OF SKELETONS PROPERLY INVITES YOU STAY AT OUR HUMBLE ABODE," Papyrus says warmly and cheerily. The tall skeleton gave you a warm feeling of safe and protection from Sans's untrusting look.

Why didn't Sans like you?

In all the stories you read, didn't the reader make the one you idolized make you head over heels??

Papyrus broke you at your sudden blank stupider, "RIGHT LETS GET YOU ALL UNHOOKED AND BACK HOME," he said happily to the tight fist clench from his brother.

Carly came to unhook you with another nurse that helped her if she needed it. Wheeling out in a wheelchair with borrowed hospital outfit of plain old gray sweats, green grip socks, and slips since you didn't have any clothes at the moment or anything at all. You were wheeled out to a very cherry red convertible with the top up. Papyrus stood, but no Sans beside him. "READY, MISS LADY EMILY," he said opening the passenger door. You looked up the open door and your butt glued to the wheelchair, but somehow got in the leather seat. Papyrus closed the door keeping his signature smile and took to head over to the driver's side.

You both buckle into the motor being turned on. "ARE YA READY LITTLE SKELETON," he said enthusiastically putting taped on sunglasses. You nod as the cheery skeleton took off from the hospital. "Mr. Papyrus sir," you ask keeping your head down to the driving skeleton. "YOU DON'T HAVE to CALL ME THAT MISS LADY EMILY, MOST CALL ME PAP OR RUS, WHAT YOU LIKE TO ASK," he asked driving from the entrance from the hospital to cities streets. "What happened to Mr. Sans," you ask. You knew he must have teleported home, but you wanted Papyrus to confirm the answer. "DON'T WORRY LITTLE SKELETON, MY BROTHER TOOK A SHORT CUT HOME LAZY AS IT IS, BUT BE WAITING FOR OUR RETURN," he finished taking right from a busy intersection.

You nod, going to look out the passenger side window of fast food places, buildings, monsters and humans alike, vehicles, just anything in amazement. Just in all astonishment of this world. It must be Tale. If was like any stories you read then the Tale Machine popped all the other alternates here.

Papyrus drove quietly away from the city to a seems of suburbs with a country aesthetic. He didn't talk much, off from knowing a little about you and you do the same to him. Oddly, he seemed so different here than you ever recall in the fandom. He was a cardio teacher at a gym, had a motorcycle, liked seafood from his usual spaghetti obsession that the fandom rave he had, jogged in the morning, and still cooked as a hobby. Wow, the things you learn from talking to the actual him in person.

In your head was why wasn't this coming from your idol, but Papyrus giving this heavy warm feeling under your bones. He was the Great Papyrus. You smile when the house of the skeletons appeared in the front. Welp, welcome to this new skeleton life you guess.

Chapter Text

Papyrus and you turned down a very forestry area off from the more suburban homes. Your blue eyes lights widen at the size of the houses that you saw. They looked more like castles than homes to families, the skeletons sure do have things for big houses. "WELCOME TO THE SKELETON HOME," Papyrus proudly stated pulling to the most beautiful home you ever saw. It looked like a home out of a magazine but in real life.

The home was of contrast suburban to a mix of country. It was gorgeous, the perfect yard of nicely cut grass, trees surrounding the edges, and flower beds lined straight across the front. The house shimmered in the bright sun of creams, light brown wood, to stone all along. How did they afford this?

Pulling up the driveway with Papyrus opening one of the three garage doors, pulling into park to a very empty garage. The others must be at work but still see an overabundance of three motorcycles parked to the side at the end. Unbuckling your seatbelt to open the door; Papyrus locked the convertible with two beeps ushering you to the side door. Following in the slightly very tall skeleton into a very clean kitchen.

Somehow, standing next to Papyrus reminded you of a very tall and skinny basketball player. You slightly wondered if he ever played basketball.

The kitchen was elegant as ever with dark wood cabinets and very contrasting marble countertops. It had a very homey feel to it. Especially, the smell of herbs and cinnamon throughout the big kitchen opened to a very grand dining/living space.

You saw Sans standing in front of a fireplace, still having his signature smile and hands pulled in his hood pockets.

"BROTHER GLAD YOU MADE IT HOME SAFELY," Papyrus exclaimed taking you over to a very large black leather couch. You sat in front of the two brothers nervously twirling your thumbs and trickling sweat from looking at two now-existing skeleton brothers. They might be more like strangers to you than you thought.

Curling into yourself, Papyrus stood next to his brother at the prominent fireplace. You noticed a very big flat screen tv hanging above their skulls, to the very over assortment of gaming consoles.

Wonder if they have an Xbox somewhere?

Sans coughed into his hand getting your attention. He kept his very white eye lights baring into your blue ones. "Let's get this over with kiddo, I got more important matters," he said sliding his hand back into his pocket. You nod. "Yes sir," you say quietly. Papyrus gave you a wink for your obvious shyness. "Firstly kid, I and Pap own this house, secondly if you stay you'll be putting yourself into helping out and paying when the time comes,". You gulped at the smiling socket blue-wearing skeleton. "YES, MY LADY EMILY WE ALL SKELETONS MUST HELP IN ONE OR TWO CHORES AND PAY A BILL COUNTER TO LIVE HERE; BUT FOR NOW I AND SANS SHALL HAPPILY HELP YOU BACK ON YOUR FEET TILL YOUR READY," Papyrus exceedingly said putting his fists on his hips for a pose.

"I and my bro will help ya, but the rest of our house skeleton mates will pitch if they choose,". "YES, LITTLE SKELETON SOME OF OUR HOUSEMATES SHALL HELP AND WILL SOON LOVE TO MEET YOU,". You hum listening to their rules and regulations on living in the skeleton household. It kinda sucked that you had to pay everything back in the fold if you want to get stuff from the store. Which was gonna, even more, suck since money was never your strong suit. Oh well. At least Papyrus kept you from feeling overwhelmed by Sans putting the law tenfold on you.

Until he got to the rules of the house. God you never heard so many. Sans even had to hand a stapled paper to you to read over. Saying he didn't have the time to go over it and left for more important business.

Papyrus took over after he left getting you a grand Great Papyrus tour.

You followed the tall skeleton showing you the big skeleton mansion. "THIS IS THE LIBRARY," he showed opening to a very opened book full room. It probably wasn't used much by the looks of it. Papyrus stated mostly of them rather be in the game room than step in for actual knowledge. Next, he took you to a workout room, gaming room, the downstairs half bathroom, and laundry room next to the garage.

The stairs took you both up to the first floor showing a case of 10 rooms. "EACH ROOM SHALL PROPERLY MARK WHO OWNS THE ROOM MY LADY," Papyrus said showing his door engraved of two bones across each other. You followed looking at the other doors some were more cutesy or off the more violent side. He showed a bathroom and then another stairwell where you'll be staying. The second floor existed of only 7 rooms yours being the very last from a bathroom next to it.

"HERE WE ARE," Papyrus proudly said opening to a very plain well taken-care of room. You looked at your now room of queen size white bed, dresser, closet, and two windows off the side. It wasn't small or big just in the middle. You walked up to a plain desk with a rolling chair, maybe you could get a typewriter. "YOUR ROOM IS ACROSS FROM EDGE A VERY EDGY ME AND RED IS NEXT TO THE BATHROOM, SO YOU'LL BE SHARING," Papyrus said with you sitting on the very softly made bed. You glance at the skeleton and back at the light coming from the cream curtains.

"ARE YOU ALRIGHT MISS LADY EMILY," he asked to your distant-looking face.

You felt tears brimming, but rather not cry. "I-I'm fine," you say which only led to him stomping over to kneeling at your feet. You couldn't hold it, letting a sob escape. Without a word, he took you in a protective hug. He rocked you in his warm grip, to your very sobbing face. "You surely are not alright miss lady Emily," he said in a low tone wiping your tears away. "S-s-sorry s-sir, I-I just miss," you sob only muttering the rest in his chest.

He let you sob in his arms as you broke saying you miss your family and friends. "It'll be alright Miss Lady Emily my brother will find a way to get you home," he said still rubbing your back in circles. You mutter sorry numerous times, only being shushed by Papyrus and letting you cry into a sleeping fit. He helped you under the covers and offering if you need anything he will be there in a flash. Papyrus left making sure you were asleep leaving you alone.

You woke startled, the room was dark knowing it was probs nighttime from the dark windows and black room. It was awfully quiet only the ticking of the alarm clock next to you on the nightstand. You pull yourself up and stretch your arms high letting pops of bone from sleeping oddly. Jumping up with only the green hospital grip socks since sliding off your slides from the obvious panic attack. Plus, you did on your first night of being in the skeleton household. Never mind that skull ache (pun intended too).

Walking out the door to a very noisy house from earlier.

Down the stairwells and saw some of the alternates gathered in the open living room. You were so nervous seeing your favorite skeletons alive and talking with each other. It seems so unreal. The tv shows some gangster movie with skeletons lounging on the leather couch or pulled-out bean bags. You took a breath and headed down to meet your housemates. Here goes nothing.

You reached the bottom, already feeling running up in your room from overall social anxiety, but you got this. Putting a brave face to take a step into the very busy room. "H-hi," you stutter coming over the corner of the leather couch. They were staring and silence filled the room. You noticed already Underswap Papyrus, Underfell Sans, Swapfell Papyrus, maybe Fellswap Red/Gold Papyruses, and Sans. Okay, you're turning very blue in embarrassment and feeling of running away from the very staring eye lights. "Aren't ya a doll," Underfell Sans said giving you a look of I like what I see. You sheepishly lower your skull at that with Swapfell Papyrus piping in. "Hello sugar," he said smoothly sitting next to a very nervous-looking Underswap Papyrus giving a wave. "Hey kiddo see ya came out of your cave," Sans spoke eyeing you from slurping his ketchup bottle.

"So, this is the new doll in the house," Underfell Sans said giving ya a very sharp smile leaning from sitting on a bean bag. "Yep, I and Pap got her this morning," Sans said. You took going to twirling your thumbs to very looks of the male skeletons. You wished another female was here. "I'm Red Dolly, that's Cash and Stretch, over there is Mutt and Coffee," Red spoke introducing the others. You noticed Coffee looking intently at his IPad not a part of the conversation and Mutt sitting in a bean bag giving you once over to drinking some can of a sort. "H-hi I'm E-Emily sirs," you say. "Formal and sweet sugar," Cash spoke giving a wink of his one eye socket to his eyepatch-wearing face. "AH MISS LADY YOUR UP COME MEET THE OTHERS," Papyrus said coming from the kitchen wearing a white sweater, jeans, a red scarf, and spaghetti socks.

He took you by the arm to a very busy kitchen. Clinks and clacks of pans, the smell of maybe ziti, and very busy skeletons. You notice the Underfell Papyrus at the stove, Swapfell Sans talking heavily on a phone, and Fellswap Red/Gold Sans cleaning up the dishes. Papyrus made a noise causing a halt in the busy room. "BLACK, RAZZ, WINE, AND EDGE THIS IS MISS LADY EMILY OUR NEW HOUSEMATE," Papyrus introduced.

You wave shyly to the going back of work skeletons. Well, so for a warm welcome home. Noticing a very eye roll from Razz and still heavily on the phone Black. You wonder where was Blue, but before asking. A door opened to the said skeleton in a paramedic uniform looking very tired. "BLUE YOUR HOME," Papyrus said to the tired skeleton. Blue yawned, gave a wave, and went into the living room. "Don't mind Blue Miss Emily, he works very odd hours," Papyrus said into your nonexistent ear in a low tone. You nod, till a hand appeared in your sight.

It was Underfell Papyrus standing tall as ever taking your given hand in a shake. "HELLO MISS EMILY," he said making you turn dark blue. Well, he was... a sight before eyes. Mentally, question if you have a thing for tall, dark-wearing, sharp teeth skeletons. "H-Hello m-mister," you shyly respond even feeling the ever-darkening blush warm your skull cheeks. "WHY THE PLEASURE IS ALL MINE AND PLEASE ITS EDGE LITTLE LADY," he said taking yer hand still held to a peck.

Your shaking of the overwhelm of the dark imposing skeleton.

Wasn't Underfell Papyrus an asshole or something?

Then an odd feeling of warmth filled you; you looked over to a very not patient Papyrus. "QUITE INDEED EDGY ME, BUT ALAS ME AND EMILY HAVE OTHER THINGS TO DO," the struck voice of Papyrus said drawing you away from Edge. "QUITE," Edge said eyeing the very tense look of Papyrus.

Was he jealous?

Why would he be jealous, you liked Sans?

What is happening??????

Chapter 3: Chapter Three: Ziti and Horror Brothers

Chapter Text

After the all round jealousy thing between Edge and Papyrus, you were guided over to a seems of a small office. "NOW MISS EMILY, I WANTED YOU TO MEET OUR LAST TWO HOUSEMATES," he proudly said with enthusiasm and knocking on the door. A voice called to open for you and Papyrus opening to a very apparent Horror brothers.

You gaze in awe at the smiling Horror Papyrus shuffling seems paperwork to wearing a formal looking pink button up with a white bowtie. His teeth were in braces to the very not healthy AU they came from. "Ah, Papyrus good to see you friend," he said in a soft tone giving bright brace smile. You shyly hid behind Papyrus for meeting the new skeleton, but never felt so protected in his presence.

"Who that might be," he said catching your blue eye lights from afar. "ISSAC THIS OUR NEW ROOMMATE MISS LADY EMILY," Papyrus proudly stated catching you and pulling you from behind. Deeply hating your social anxiety. Issac sat behind a very large old wooden desk leaning to give a handshake which you took. "H-hello sir," you mentally head no (skull) smacked from the very shaky handshake even keeping your eyes down. "Hello sweet one," he leaning back after the shake. "SO, WHERES ORION, ISSAC," Papyrus asked from yer offal introduction to change topics.

"He's in his flower garden it seems his marigolds needed watering he'll be in for dinner," Issac said taking to grab a cane to stand.

Horrortale was never your favorite AU, the awful things that happened in the underground. You wanted to hug Issac watching him slight struggle to stand. Watching others in pain was never your favorite to watch. "Besides, dinner is call friend and sweet one," the now standing Issac said catching you in your thoughts and guiding you an Papyrus out of his office which was held in the library. The three of you headed away wondering on how he knew dinner was ready?

Papyrus leaned over to whisper in your nonexistent ear "Issac has a nose (in which we don't have noses for being skeletons) of a bloodhound and knows when when dinner is ready every time,". You gaze up the tall, very tall skeleton walking with a cane. Issac seemed so wise to you from the stories and fanfics you read to hardly believe who you were walking with.

The coming of a mouth watering smell of dinner came in to very heavily filled dining room. Skeletons here, there, everywhere sat crowding the giant table to very different skeletons that once was only a mix of fanfics, fanart, and much more living an breathing now. Papyrus guided you to the right side which sat next to the head of the table which was Blue surprisingly instead of Sans.

Wait.

Where was Sans???

You sat next to Papyrus and to Swapfell Gold Sans in a seems very expensive red blouse and holding a expensive very red wine. Gulping, to clasping yer hands underneath between your legs. "HELLO MY LADY," Edge called silencing the table letting your skull lift to the very staring eye lights. "Oh, this is the goddess you all hid," Gold Sans said apparently appalled for not seeing you. "Shove it your," Red tried to input with a quick slap to back his skull. "MANNERS BROTHER, THEIRS A LADY AT THE TABLE," Edge imputed to Red overly rolling his red eye lights. Some of the table chuckled with you staying quiet holding your skull down fixating on the well placed ziti. You felt your mouth water and from the rambunctious table of males.

"GO ON MY LITTLE LADY MY FINEST ZITI IS ALWAYS A GO TO MEAL FOR NEW GUESTS," Edge irrupted your already fork filled mouth. "Oh, will you lay off the sugar skull," Cash shouted at the end of table by Honey and Black. You blush, going back to the delicious meal of a lifetime.

Edge gave a casual scuff to the taunting Cash. His brother Black seems giving little interest and looking his cellphone, Honey just eating silently at the end.

The room fell into a cacophony of talking, eating, and the appointed family feel. You gazed around the table watching Red laugh at his brothers antics, Blue sharing wine with Swapfell Gold Sans, the steady quiet conversation between Swapfell gold and red Papyruses. "ORION YOU MADE IT," Papyrus said catching you looking all around the table.

A pudgy now Horror Sans came in dirt covered overalls and handmade straw hat covering a knowing crack he had. Horror Sans seemed so happy and different in some way. He took a seat next Issac with a empty seat which could mean Sans sat their.

Where was the skeleton??

"Hello friends," Orion said proudly. You reminded you of your father in away. The Horror brothers were bringing in a family gathering like Thanksgiving feel to the table. It made you warm inside that they were happy and carefree from the horrors of there  used be horror Au.

The skeletons gave welcomes and hellos, then going back finishing their meal. "Pumpkin where's ole vanilla," Orion called sipping some water. You glance to Papyrus to seem it was nickname for him, holding a chuckle for the name. "WHERES HE'S ALWAYS IN ORION, UP IN HIS LAB," Papyrus said huffily looked at the empty seat.

Does Papyrus and Sans not close?

"That ole vanilla always working," Orion chuckled and looking at his brother finishing his meal. Issac whispered something to Orion and then he started eating. Must be a food thing you wonder? "OH ORION, WE HAVE A NEW SKELETON FOR YOU TO MEET," Papyrus said catching the eye lights and all around conversations at the table. You sheepishly wave at Orion with him giving a look at you and taking his straw hat off. "Well, well, a little one is she and another mouth to feed," he joyfully said.

Another mouth?

You wave at the big broad skeleton, Orion was surely built and thick for skeleton from a horror au. "H-hi I'm E-Emily sir," you say to the very smiling skeleton. "Welcome little hummingbird and welcome to the Skeletal Home,". Orion was so warm and filled protecting you in a way. It strangely filled you of something in a way.

A well placed clearing of throat caught you and the filled table. It was Blue. "Sorry about cutting your introduction Orion, but I think Emily needs help with settling in our skeletal abode," Blue said smiling over to you very blue eye lights. "Your right Blue Jay as always," Orion chuckled as old man would. You the skeletons were gonna help you get settled in the very big house. Then soon, paying back them if needed so from their help.

Blue gave a smile and talked to about the rules and the all around dos an don't's of the skeletal home like Sans did earlier. It seemed Blue was very ahold of the financial and works around the home. He seemed so smart too. "Now, tomorrow at around 11:00 sharp Edge and Issac will take to get home necessities," Blue said to the appointed very grinning Edge and somehow floating to Papyrus.

What is it with Edge and Papyrus?

Do they have rivalry somehow?

After dinner, you headed for the night. You felt welcomed, but something was off. Snuggling in your bed looking the window, you wearily knew this wasn't a fanfic of lifetime.

To what was really going on?
