Chapter Text

- Gryffindor Common Room

"Oh, come on, Ron. Give it back!", Harry stretched his hand towards Ron who reluctantly placed his phone back into his palm. "Finally.", Harry sighed. "What did the both of you do to it?"

Hermione guiltily avoided eye contact with Harry while Ron just had a big grin on his face. "We changed our contact names, you see!", Ron spoke up which Harry responded with a raised eyebrow.

"Maybe a couple others also...", Ron muttered under his breath. However, he seemed to have no guilty conscious.

Harry facepalmed himself, "You're kidding me."

"I'm sorry, Harry! I didn't want to change everything! You see, Ron and I just wanted...", Hermione stopped herself just before she let the cat out of the bag. "We just wanted to change our contacts on your phone! It was looking a little... Boorish."

Harry sighed. "You could've just told me, did you really need to take my phone?"

"Haha..", Hermione looked away towards Ron, hoping for him to create a distraction for her.

Ron, although slightly oblivious, received the memo and changed the subject. "Hey, Harry! Look at the time, it's time for dinner! Let's go to the Great Hall."

"Oh, yeah. Let's go.", Harry was immediately distracted and wore his Gryffindor robes. Hermione gave Ron a small thumbs up and the Golden Trio proceeded to the Great Hall to have their dinner.

- Great Hall

After sorting the first years, the food soon arrived thereafter. Harry reminisced on when he just entered Hogwarts. He met Ron and Hermione on the Hogwarts Express, Draco and the other Slytherins the moment they entered school.

Harry also remembered the chance that he was to be sorted into Slytherin, but fortunately the Sorting Hat was a reasonable one and sorted him into Gryffindor instead.

He had never regretted not going into Slytherin.

"Hey, Harry! Don't you wanna see what we renamed your contacts to?", Ron asked. Curious, Harry then proceeded to take out his phone and look at the contacts.

Harry was confused at a few of the contacts. Some of which included 'Don't Answer', 'Prince', 'Lesbian Slytherin' and several more others.

"Who's 'Don't Answer'?", Harry asked Ron, while angling his phone screen to face Ron.

Grinning, Ron replied in a low tone that almost sounded like he was whispering, "Cho Chang. You remember? She betrayed us and then kept bugging you after both of you broke up!"

Harry formed an 'o' with his mouth. "Then what about-", before Harry could ask anymore, Hermione replied.

"Harry, why don't you text them? You can take this chance to be more... Social.", Hermione smiled.

"O...kay..... 'Mione, don't get me wrong, but you and Ron seem to be up to something.", Harry stated suspiciously as he started to text the number named 'Prince'.

- Great Hall

After that conversation, Harry was rather weirded out. He texted most of the rest of the mysterious numbers to find out their identity, including 'Lesbian Slytherin' who surprisingly turned out to be Pansy Parkinson!

What an unusual way to find out someone's sexuality. Not that Harry minded, though. He had came out to Hermione and Ron a few weeks ago and they were so understanding.

Hermione also came out as lesbian a few days following Harry. They were really accepting of each other, especially Ron, whom Harry and Hermione didn't think would be accepting as he grew up in a pure-blooded family.

"How did you know Parkinson is a lesbian too?", Harry cocked his head to the side, genuinely curious.

Ron gave Harry a look of 'are you bloody serious?'. Hermione spoke up, "You're really oblivious, Harry. Pansy and I started dating a week ago.". She glanced at the Slytherin table to make eye contact with her girlfriend.

The moment their eyes met, it sparkled with happiness.

"You really didn't see the amount of sexual tension between them? You're such an oblivious git!", Ron laughed.

Harry pursed his lips together, "Well, sorry for not noticing because I'm always trying to get away from Malfoy who keeps threatening to hex me!".

Hermione immediately looked at Ron, whose expression was a cocktail of emotions. "Harry, you know Malfoy has and will never threaten to hex you.", Hermione said. "Well except during that duel in second year..."

"Yeah!", Ron nodded in agreement. "The most he does is call you names in hopes of your attention!".

Harry hissed, "No, Ron. You don't seem to remember the time he hexed me in the bathroom after fleeing the Great Hall? He was actually trying to kill me!"

"Yes, it's wrong, Harry. But that's because you caught Draco in a vulnerable time... And he does have a pride to uphold, you know.", Hermione tried to reason with him. "Besides.. Yo-"

Harry seemed to just get more irritated by Hermione standing up for Draco. "Yeah, as if his pride is worth more than my life!", Harry shot back before realizing her words. "You call him 'Draco' now? Seriously? I should've know, your girlfriend and her friends are more important to you than us. Right, Ron?"

"Honestly, Harry-"

"Oh, don't tell me you're backing the Slytherins too?", Harry gritted his teeth by the lack of support his so-called 'best friend'.

"Harry, stop it! You're overreacting!", Ron tried to place his hand on Harry's shoulder, but Harry simply brushed it off.

"Some friend you are.", Harry stood up from the bench and stormed off back to the Gryffindor common room.
