Chapter Text
Li Yun
The soft yet hard blue thing the human left behind was quite interesting. (he’s talking about Bailin’s visor) It could bend a little bit, and then return to its original form. But he could not really understand why was the human wearing it.
(╭ರ _•́ )
He swam in circles a couple of times, making the thing twirl, and finally took it again. The human came to his mind, his white hair framing his fair traits…and this thing above his head…
It did suit him.
Curious, Li Yun wanted to wear it too, so he went to the surface, where his dragon form would change back to half-humanoid. He sat on a rock near the waterfall, a little farther away from the temple where he saw the human. Li Yun did not want to bother him more if he was still there.
So, sitting firmly on the warm giant rock, he placed that thing above his head with the utmost care, only to find a problem. His horns were too big for the thing to pass.
The visor quickly became tangled within his horns.
Li Yun panicked, his hands couldn’t reach the blue object at the top of his horns and he didn't want to force it, because what if he broke it? He was yet to return it to the human!

Meanwhile Bailin, back at his hotel after changing his fish-smelly clothes, sighed for the third time at the bar.
The bartender saw that young man and couldn’t help but feel bad. When he arrived two days ago, he was the most optimistic person in the room, and now after returning from an excursion really wet, his mood got gloomy.
The man thought it was because his drawing notebook got drenched and most of his drawings got ruined.
“Young man…don’t get so down, there’s an art store in the center of the town, about an hour by car… there you can buy a new art notebook and the supplies you need.”
Bailin showed him a weak smile and nodded.
“I’ll think about it.”
He wasn’t actually sad about that. Well, he was somehow upset, but the drawings on that notebook were mostly rough sketches for later. The real works were in canvas, back at his studio.
It wasn’t a major loss.
On the other hand, the stupid way he just stayed silent with the mermaid was repeating in his mind like a broken record.
He couldn’t believe he had a fine-ass fantasy man right in front of his eyes and what did he do?
Stood there like a fish out of the water!

What if he scared him away? what if he lost his only chance of something amazing happening to him? Just once in his life?!
No, he had to see him again.
No matter what.

“Uncle, so tell me…what do you know about dragon myths here.”
The bartender’s face changed in an instant and a cold sensation took over the bar.
