Work Text:
For their honeymoon, Nami told Sanji she wanted to go somewhere with snow since she was so deathly ill when they journeyed to Drum Island and met Chopper. They both have had their fix of heat after their stint in Alabasta and the jungles of Skypiea, so that was not an issue for the newlyweds. Furthermore, the young couple has had their fill of sand and surf due to the crew’s frequent beach days now that Luffy has established himself as a Captain to be both respected and feared. Thus, the crew and the Captain of the Thousand Sunny dropped their navigator and cook on a snow-covered island for a two week stint. Sanji and Nami have vowed to enjoy every second of their time alone.
That morning, Nami awakens to the delectable scent of chocolate as she stirs in the mountain of blankets piled on their bed.
“Morning, my sweet angel,” Sanji softly greets, gently pressing a kiss to his wife’s perfectly luscious, red lips.
“Morning, Sanji,” Nami returns, kissing him back with slightly more ferocity than his as she fights back a yawn. “I woke up and found you gone,” she whispers, slight fear shining in her chocolate-colored eyes.
“Never to fear, my love,” the blonde cook whispers back, pushing the covers back with his knees to slide back into bed beside the woman he worships and adores, the woman he was so fortunate to have married. “I was simply making us some hot cocoa and stoking the fire to keep us warm this morning,” Sanji admits, setting the mugs of cocoa on the bedside table as Nami moves to press herself flush against him until she is straddling his lap and hips.
The cook swallows thickly, his most desired fantasy seemingly playing out in front of his very own eyes.
“N—Nami?”
“I can think of a few other ways you can keep me warm if you’re up to the challenge, husband,” Nami insists, her eyes sparking deviously as she runs her hands up and down Sanji’s bare chest.
“Yes, ma’am,” Sanji complies, beginning to leave a trail of kisses from the crown of Nami’s head and working his way downwards.
