everyone was hanging out in the common room you had finally finished your homework and making your way down to hang out with your friends.
You were close with momo, jirou, & kaminari when he wasn't following around kirishima and bakugou. As you entered the room you heard something interesting
Whipping your head in the direction you see bakugou and Todoroki having a conversation
"So you think I'm a pretty boy?" Shouto asks bakugou
You cock your eyebrow at the two trying to find context clues of how that came about in there conversation
"WHAT THE HELL" bakugou yells barely drawing any attention as everyone was use to him yelling by now
"YOUR ALWAYS ASKING DUMB ASS QUESTIONS !! YOU PISS ME OFF " he continues
"and that's my fault?" Todoroki says calmly
bakugou huffs, turning his head away from Todoroki but in your direction making eye contact. You jump a little as you've been staring at the two interact
you give them a wave seeing Todoroki was now looking at you too before turning away hurrying over to the other on the couch
Once there you sit beside Izuku who's playing a board game with Sero, kaminari, and ochaco
Momo was braiding her hair talking to Jirou and Mina about something
"Umm what was that about" you whisper poking at where Todoroki and Bakugou were at
"I was telling bakugou how Todoroki likes you and when Todoroki came in here Bakugou went over there provoking him called him pretty and well you saw the rest" Kaminari told you as if he didn't just drop the biggest plot twist you ever heard
"Todoroki likes me?" You say barely over your breath
"Kaminari !!!" Izuku yells giving you a shy smile
wait did everyone know this but you?
Todoroki was very handsome that was obvious. Girls take second glances at him every where he goes, you even remember a girl from another school asking for his autograph
just then Todoroki returns to the group bakugou long gone somewhere else you were too lost in your head to notice the loud boy stomping out the room
Todoroki sat down on the other side of Izuku you felt strange, fuzzy even like your stomach wasn't well
but still something didn't make sense to you why would bakugou go start something with Todoroki for liking you ?
you turn to look at Shouto he was facing forward his attention on the board game, his white hair side was all you could see
Bakugou was right he is a pretty boy.
But bakugou was pretty too whenever he wasn't making all those faces you've caught yourself staring at him before in class when his face is resting calmly
Shouto feels your glaze his eyes turning your way his gentle calm glaze meeting yours. You turn your head quickly adjusting your body to be hidden behind Izuku's your face flushed
Momo must have taken notice and asked if the girls wanted to come do hair and makeup in her room
Ochaco who was playing wanted to come with so she gave her spot to Todoroki
once in Momo's room she lets out that the real reason we're here is to talk about boys "y/n do you like Todoroki ?" She questions
"uhhhhh" you let out flustered "is it true he likes me? Did you all know this?" You ask
"I didn't but I kind always thought it he's always staring at you and likes to be your partner in training courses" momo says
"Are quirks go well together......" you say trying to say a logical reason for her reasonings
"I knew because deku told me..." Ochaco admits rubbing her hand down her arm nervously
"Denki told me" Jirou says a moment later
"Bakugou likes you too y/n" Mina spits out everyone's head turns her away
"What??" You yell out
"Denki told me. You know he can't keep his mouth shut when it comes to romance!! plus I feel it should be obvious that's why he picked a fight with Todoroki after being told Todoroki likes you!!" She says like it was common sense, her hand on her hip
everyone's heads turn back to you who's thinking about Mina's words It could make sense but you never thought Bakugou liked you. Not even as a friend much less in a romantic way
"Mina what all did denki say about Bakugou?" You question all of you now sitting on Momo's bed in a circle
she tells you how Denki over heard Kirishima and Bakugou talking and how Kirishima was picking on Bakugou for liking you. How he didn't deny it or even get mad at Kiri
To further her point she told you what happened in Todoroki and bakugous convo earlier the parts that you missed
Bakugou came downstairs and heard denki and Izuku talking about how to get you and Shouto to go on a date. Bakugou asked why they would do something dumb like that. And they admitted to him that Shouto likes you Bakugou was visibly mad and when Todoroki entered the room Bakugou shot up and went up to him asking
"What's your problem half and half"
In which Todoroki replied with
"What?"
And Bakugou proceeded to say
"Your naive act is annoying!! Cut it out"
"Bakugou I don't know what your talking about"
"Oh shut it! you really piss me off you know !! You stupid pretty boy! Why do you gotta look like that ?!!"
This is when you come in
"So you think im a pretty boy?"
Everyone agrees that Bakugou totally has a crush on you before there squeals get too loud you ask
"And what about Todoroki? What prof do you have there"
"Deku told me that Todoroki came to his room one night asking him about these feelings he had toward you. He didn't seem to understand that they were romantic and turned bright red when deku asked if he liked you........... im not suppose to be telling this....." ochaco says nervously
"How does Kaminari know all this tho?" Was your last question the room fell silent everyone realizing kaminari has info you all don't somehow ?? On everyone??
Feeling too overwhelmed you want to drop the convo but momo asks "so who do you like though y/n?"
you let the long pause linger before saying "whichever one finally gets the guts to tell me themself"
(Back at the common room)
"Hey Todoroki .... Denki kinda told y/n you like her" Izuku tell Shouto
kaminari gasps
"oh what did she say" Shouto replies taking his next move in the game
Izuku was a bit surprised that two toned boy wasn't upset
"Nothing really..... she seemed to not believe him" Izuku admits
Todoroki makes a small hum from his throat as a response
"I see. Bakugou's out burst wasn't random…… he has the same feelings toward y/n" he then says shocking Izuku while kaminari and Sero give each other a glance at how Todoroki figured it out
"dude are you going to ask her out or what ?" Kaminari says
"no"
"NOOO what ? Dude why not ?" Kaminari yells
"I want to talk to bakugou first" Todoroki tells the others
"Im going to bed goodnight " he then says pushing himself up from the table
They all muster up a goodnight left there with unanswered questions
Todoroki's real intentions were with bakugou not his bed
"Bakugou we need to talk" Todoroki says staring at the blonde
"You have some nerve knocking on my door icy hot"
"It's about y/n" Shouto says nonchalantly as ever
At this bakugou let's the other aspiring hero inside is room
"What about her?" Bakugou says getting to the point
"why are you interested in her romantically?” Asks Todoroki
"I don't know what your talking about" Bakugou says not wanting to let in to his true feelings, especially in front of his rival
"I know that you know that I like y/n" Shouto leans against the wall
Bakugou begins to get annoyed at how cool and composed the other can be
Confrontation is usually katsuki's strong point
"What's it to ya dumbass ? Here to threaten me?" Bakugou snorts crossing his arms
Todoroki’s mouth opens then shuts trying to find the right words to express his concerns. Eyes falling on bakugou
"you want her for her quirk right?" his gaze never leaving the blondes body watching for his reaction
bakugou stops breathing at this. Does Todoroki really think he's that low to want someone for the quirk?
Bakugou remembers Todoroki is a product of a quirk marriage and his family life isn't the best because of it.
He's trying to protect y/n ??
"You're quiet that's how I know I'm right"
Todoroki begins to walk toward to exit
"Your wrong" Bakugou growls in his direction
"I like y/n because she's strong, a great strategist, she determined, her smile- she... " bakugou's cheeks tinted pink as he grits his teeth
"her quirks amazing yeah I could've asked you the same you two would have powerful ki-"
Bakugou stops himself again getting more and more flustered and angry at himself for giving more rawness than he likes too
Shouto was now facing the other boy staring him down listening to every word
"Good" Todoroki says a smirk on the corner of his lips
"then let the best man win"
