Summary
When an upstart Touga asked for her hand in marriage, Inukimi never imagined such a loyal dog would stray from her side. But after seven centuries of dissecting their feelings for each other, Touga suddenly leaves her for a human princess, Izayoi. Unable to cope with the loss, Inukimi bides her time.
Another seven hundred years later, Sesshoumaru makes the same choice as his father in mating a human. When he tells his mother, Inukimi lashes out at Sesshoumaru and Touga, then retreats to her bedroom.
