The human world could get boring sometimes, especially after spending time with demons. Coming back really made you get that touch of reality you thought you lost while in Devildom. You would be surprised by simple things like a regular human world breakfast and not a fancy table full of food of ingredients you didn't know. Did Devildom raise your standards to high? You would still enjoy it though, that is if you ate before Beel. You would even feel humbled by how you got so used to using so much advanced household items that you would forget how a toaster worked and forget that not every appliance has some kind of curse.
But even with all the crazy out of this world and what's the worst that can happen experiences in Devildom coming back to the human world, coming back to your home, in and of itself was a nice feeling of relief... maybe? Every time Barbatos would open his portal to the human world you would get this heavy feeling of what if I'm better off here? What if the brothers life was easier without me in it?.... And of of course Solomon would always tell you, "The brothers really do appreciate you, so does diavolo and Barbatos. You really helped them a lot." And it's not that you don't believe him, you do, but the feelings been pretty hard to shake after recent events.

"How could Lucifer losin' his memory be her fault too!?"
"It might CONSUME her?"
"Your pacts would be broken, you would never be able to be bonded with her again.."
"I know okay!"
"You already made up your mind?? You didn't even talk to us about it."
"There was no other way... I'm sorry.
"please....please let their be another way." You whispered weakly to yourself the day everything happened. The air around the house thick and uncomfortable after the news diavolo told everyone. It felt like an invisible wall started to build around you and the brothers and nobody was themselves, and before you knew it you were sneaky out to the castle to ask Barbatos to send you home.
"Did you tell the brothers?" He asked cautiously
"No.. I uh.. need some alone time..." You couldn't stand to be in the house knowing the only way to save Lucifer was to sever all the pacts, it was too much pressure on a choice you didn't have.
"They might be worried."
"..."
You didn't have much to say that night, and your restlessness had already taken a toll on you and you were worried Barbatos was going to say no by how conflicted he looked. "I can only send you back for a few days, you need to be back for the ceremony." Is what he said before opening the portal. The time between Devildom and the human world flow differently so you're not sure how much time has passed but you don't want to think about it.
It's not like they won't pick saving Lucifer's life over a flimsy pact with a human, they all started in a meddlesome way anyway. But would it be worth it?
