Chapter Text

Ifrit roared, his flaming fist clashing with the lightning imbued sword of his enemy. Shockwaves of fire and lightning exploded around the two titanic monsters, ripping apart the land as they battled.

The lightning wielder pulled on the reins of his steed, the horse galloping into the sky as lightning rained down on the demonic fire demon below.

Ifrit dodged, leaping and waving through the lightning as he threw balls of pure infernal fire at the rider, just missing his target as he rode out of the way.

“Stand and fight Odin!” Ifrit roared, slamming his buckling arms into the ground as a towering inferno exploded upwards. The now named Odin barely dodged the attack, just pulling the horse out of the way before the rider's eyes widened behind his helmet.

As Ifrits demonic scaled legs slammed down on his steed, sending the titanic horse falling to the ground with a mighty crash.

Odin and Ifrit followed shortly after, the two grappling in the air, Odin trying to stab at the demonic monster while Ifrit grasped for the knight's neck. To strangle the life out of him with all of his hatred.

They crashed, lighting and fire exploding around them as the crater formed under them. Heaving their mighty bodies up, both titans felt their energy wane as their monstrous bodies collapsed, finishing from the world in faint dots of pure energy.

Leaving two human figures standing before each other.

One wielding a silver ornate broadsword in his right hand, black and red armor adoring his body as he singed cape wiped behind him.

Black hair slicked with sweat as he bore down on the man before him, still welding the demonic lightning blade of his titanic counterpart.

“This ends now” he growled out, fire exploding around his left arm, surging down his armored boots as he prepared to lunge forward.

“I couldn’t agree more” and with that the two moved, fire and lightning surging forward as their blades clashed. Shaking the ground as they battled, rain lashing down on them. Each strike of their blade was parried and blocked, followed up with another swing to gain an advantage.

The fire user roared, performing a full spin as a wave of fire swept through the air, just barely missing the lightning user as he stepped backwards. Coming right back into the fight as he struck forward. His blade exploded as it sent the red clad warrior flying across the crater.

“This ends Clive, it's all over” the man stated, marching up to the downed warrior. Clive snarled, trying in vain to reach for his blade. Only to have his arm viciously stomped on, pinning him in place as he hissed in agony. “You fought well, but it's over”

“I…I won't stop” Clive snarled back, his eyes lighting up with pure hell fire and hatred. “I’ll kill you for what you have done, for all the lives you have taken, for the world you plunged into ruin!” he roared back as veins of fire rushed across his form.

“I'll see you in hell, when it is my time to join you” the eikon of Odin replied with a disappointed look on his face. Clive roared, sweeping his free arm forward as an ethereal fist of Ifrit launched towards the man standing over him.

Only to fade away before it could connect, Clive gasping out in pain as the glowing lightning-like blade impaled his chest. Blood pooled at his mouth as Clive glared hatefully towards the other man.

“I swear, ill kill you no matter the cost” he snarled painfully, fire coursing through him as the other man said nothing, ripping his blade free as he slowly turned away from the downed warrior.

Clive could do nothing, his strength fading as his vision blurred. He could only watch as the eikon of Odin walked away, leaving him dying in the crate they made from their fight. Clive's last thoughts were on the man, everything he took from the world, everything he took from Clive in his bloody conquest through the lands.

All of his friends, dead and gone. All by his hands

He swore as fire rushed through his fading vision. He swore he would kill him and he would do anything to get that goal.

Fire engulfed him as the world faded away. The familiar fire of Ifrits inferno consuming his every thought as it all just stopped.
