Two children were seen in a park playing with a ball. The eldest was Taichi Yagami, and the youngest was his sister, Kari Yagami.
Tai demonstrated how to kick a soccer ball while he kicked it to Kari with just the right amount of force.
Tai: Way to go, just give it a try
Kari then tried her hand at kicking the soccer ball. However, she didn't kick him well and he ended up being sent a few feet to Tai's left. Seeing this, Tai ran towards the ball and picked it up.
Taichi: No, that's not right.
Kari lay on the floor as if she had collapsed from exhaustion. It was then that Taichi realized his big mistake.
Taichi: Kari...? KARI…!
Some time later, Tai was in the waiting room when his mother, who had come to see his daughter, appeared.
Mrs. Yagami: Tai! Do you have any idea what you've done?!
Tai wanted to explain, but he couldn't think of anything to say. The next thing he knew, his mother, in frustration, slapped him across the face, leaving a bright red mark on his left cheek.
Mrs Yagami: What could you have been thinking? you knew she was sick
Tai still had nothing to say and moments later, her mother burst into tears as Mr. Yagami comforted her.
A week later, Kari returned from the hospital, her father holding her while her mother answered the door. Tai was there to greet them, though he was still worried about his little sister after what happened last week.
Kari: Tai, I'm sorry, I can't kick the ball very well. You probably won't ever want to play with me again
Those words only brought Tai to tears as he realized that Kari didn't care as much for herself as she did for him. While this was nothing he knew, she killed him that even though she nearly killed her, she still kept thinking about how he felt. It was bad enough that his mother scolded him for his actions, but this was more than he could bear.
That night, while everyone was sleeping, Tai came out of his apartment with her backpack on. Looking towards his apartment, he blurted out a few words.
Tai: sorry
Tai then left the area. Where he was headed was unknown.
As he was starting to fall asleep, Taichi heard a voice
¿?: Murderer!
Tai: Huh?
When he opened his eyes and turned around, he was surprised to see that he was in a different place. There were several people in front of him. There were two individuals who stood out. One was a black-haired man with glasses and green clothes, and another was a red-haired boy. When he checked himself, he saw that it was Fei Fong Wong again
Black-haired man: Dan!
Fei (Tai): ¿¡...!? Dan, what do you mean by...?
Dan: Fei... It was... because you had to go get into that monster... Alice and Timothy... All the people of the village are...! You killed everyone using that monster...! !
Taichi/Fei hearing that was shocked. But he remembered what happened to Kari and realized that it was true. When he turned around, he saw something that surprised him. It was a giant blue robot. He could hear the voices of the villagers
"How do you know how to operate such a monster...?"
"Mom...? Where's Mom...?"
"Look, I told you... I said that allowing someone we knew nothing about to enter our village would mean a disaster."
"Owww... It hurts... It hurts..."
Fei (Tai): (I...Did I do that?)
Dan: Murderer!. My sister... Give me back my sister!
Black-haired man: Dan... There is nothing to be gained by blaming Fei alone. Also, do you know that Fei had no control over the malfunction of that Gear
Fei (Tai): (A Gear?)
Dan: I... I know that! ¡But... but...! I hate you!
Dan ran out of there. Taichi didn't know what to think. I didn't know where I was, and who these people were. He was going to follow him, but the black-haired man stopped him.
Black-haired man: We'd better leave him alone. He doesn't know what to do with pain and anger. Fei... It might be a good idea for you to leave this place. There is no guarantee that the reinforcements from yesterday's unit will not come... They will probably want to know what happened to their companions. Besides, if you stay here, I don't think the atmosphere will be very cheerful... if you know what I mean. May it be the best both for you and for all the other villagers here
Fei (Tai): I guess you're right... This disaster happened because I was here..But... what am I supposed to do now...?
Black-haired Man: Yeah, well... Why don't you go through the Blackmoon Forest and head to Aveh? I'm sure those soldiers yesterday were not from Aveh. If you manage to get there, they won't be able to track you very easily
Fei (Tai): It's okay... I understand, doc... Well, anyway... Please take care of the rest of the stuff here (Aveh? Where is that left?)
Doc: Of course... Well, now take care of yourself
Taichi/Fei took one last look at the villagers, and then looked at the giant robot known as Gear
Fei/Tai: (I will never ride a Gear again!)
After that everything turned black, and Taichi woke. He was agitated by that dream, it's the second time he sees that man named Fei. Tears were coming out of her eyes
Days later, Taichi returned to his house repentant with his family. And they claimed that he would return. But then he reached out to his mother
Taichi: Mom
Mrs. Yagami: Is something wrong Taichi?
Taichi: Am I a murderer?
That made Mrs. Yagami blurt out what she had in shock at what her son said.
Mrs. Yagami: Where...did you...get that from?
Taichi: What happened with Kari. she almost died
Then Taichi started to cry. His mother bent down and hugged him.
Mrs. Yagami: Listen Taichi. You are not a murderer. The Kari thing is over. I know that you did not want her to suffer. The important thing is that she does not repeat herself. Keep that in mind
Taichi was speechless.
Taichi: Thank you mom, I love you (I will. For Kari...for Dan)
Sora Takenouchi enjoys football. She was part of her school's team, but her mother didn't approve. During a training session he hurt his knee. Days later, Sora was feeling better, but his knee was still healing. Today was the day of a big game for his team and he didn't want to let them down. Unfortunately, due to his injured knee, his mother did not allow it, but Sora did not see it that way.
Sora: Please, Mom, I have to go to the football game. The others are counting on me!
Mrs. Takenouchi: Don't talk so loud dear. Flowers are very sensitive
Sora: But this match is to win the title
Ms. Takenouchi: Sora, you can't go with an injured knee like that. You heard what the doctor said it will take a while for it to heal, and until it does you won't be able to play.
Sora: But Mom... my leg is fine
Realizing that his daughter was being stubborn, Toshiko decided to take drastic measures.
Sora: I'm sorry, you can't go. Now sit down, we need to talk
Doing as he was told, Sora sat down on the floor, his knee was bothering him a little.
Ms. Takenouchi: I want you to stop playing football and come to work at the flower shop after school
Sora: Do what? I won't stop playing working with smelly old flowers
Ms. Takenouchi: I can't believe that a daughter of mine would act this way. My decision is final!
Sora was horrified to hear this and began to sob.
Sora: Why don't you understand me? !
Sora then ran out of the store and went to the football game.
Mrs. Takenouchi: Sora, wait
Her mother tried to stop her, but it was too late.
Ms. Takenouchi: Okay, maybe I was a little harsh
Sora then walked for hours before meeting on the football field. But to his horror, the game had just ended and his team lost six to three. The next thing she knew, her teammates walked past her with depressed looks on their faces. They didn't even notice Sora while they were doing it, as if she wasn't even there. This only made Sora even more depressed. He felt like he had let his teammates down, like it was all his fault. He went to sleep to try to calm down when...
Upon opening her eyes, Sora saw that she was in a strange place, and upon inspecting herself she realized that it was Elly again. And I was running in a hallway. She was running away from three men
Elly (Sora): What are they trying to do?! (I'm Elly again!) (What is happening?) (Why am I running?)
Man 1: Take it easy! It's just the drive!
Elly (Sora): I don't want it! I don't want to use it! (Drive?)
Man 2: The Drive will only make you a mental readjustment! It will make you feel good!
Elly (Sora): Get away from me!
Man 3: Don't think that because you are the daughter of a superior you are exempt from being used as a test subject
Sora didn't know why those men were chasing her, but she was still distressed
Sora: (Please...Get away from me!)
Then she closed her eyes and when opened them everything turned black but he felt moisture on her feet, and she saw that he was in a big puddle of water
Sora: Water...
Seeing her reflection in the water, Sora saw the image of a red-haired woman dressed in a white uniform
Sora: (That's not me!) (Is that Elly?!)
Then she heard voices
"Don't you remember anything?"
Sora: (Huh?)
"The no where a records on mental enhancement drug use up until nowm"
Sora: (A drug?)
"Then it was sudden "
"She's probably not qualified to use Drive. That's why he got these delusions."
"What about his loss of self-control?"
"You mean the unconscious explosion of attitude? It can happen to all of us."
"Is that why his innate ability is so high?"
"Yes...remember those girls the commander called? Because he has the highest capacity than all of them. It's like a big jump from the numerical value."
Sora: (High skills...but my mom doesn't want to see it)
"But we can't use her as an object of evidence in front of Erich. She's his daughter."
Sora: (Erich?) (That's not my dad's name)
"It's a pity that I can't do anything. So much wasted potential"
Sora: (Potential...Do I have potential?)
"We'll drop you off at the office."
"Stay at your residence until there is news"

Sora: (Chosen?)

When she opened her eyes, Sora was horrified by what she saw. Blood in the surroundings, and she saw the corpses of the three men who were chasing her

Then Sora/Elly broke down and started crying. As he did so, she began to hear a familiar voice
¿?: Sora! Get up!
Sora woke up distressed, she saw her mother who was sitting next to her bed
Mrs. Takenouchi: Sora! Calm down!
Sora then broke down and hugged his mother
Sora: Mom!..
Mrs. Takenouchi: Daughter... you can calm down...it's all over now
Although the nightmare was over, Sora was not well with herself
Sora: (I'm weak...i am useless...i...i no have potential)
