Tsugumi once again greeted the day with excitement, she woke up early to help her parents prepare everything before opening their cafe, Hazawa Coffee.
Today is Saturday, so she has more time to help her parents. Besides the fact that she loves working here, she also has another reason.
Because today was a special day for her. The day when someone special always comes to this place.
Although it wasn't too crowded, she was busy serving the customers who came. Every now and then she looked at the wall clock installed near the entrance of the cafe, waiting for the person to arrive.
It's about time, she thought.
And sure enough, the person arrived and was immediately greeted with a warm smile from Tsugumi. "Welcome to Hazawa Coffee,"
The person smiled then immediately went to the table she had been using. She immediately sat down then opened her notes and started writing something. Tsugumi who saw that just chuckled then went to prepare a menu that she had memorized outside her head.
After finishing preparing the order, she immediately delivered it to the owner's table. "Writing a song, Kasumi-chan?" she said as she put down her food.
"Oh Tsugu, yes Popipa has a concert coming up so I wanted to try and write a new song."
"If I may know, what kind of song do you want to make Kasumi-chan?"
"Hmm...since I recently got a girlfriend, I wanted to make a song about love," she said, grinning at Tsugumi.
And because of her actions it made Tsugumi instantly blush. "Don't tease me like that, Kasumi-chan," while covering her face with both hands.
"Hehe, sorry, you're too cute anyway, I want to make a song about us,"
"Alright, then I'm going to continue working first," said Tsugumi about to leave the place before she was teased again by Kasumi. However, before she could escape, her hand was grabbed by Kasumi.
"Do you have time after this?"
As if knowing what Kasumi was thinking, Tsugumi also took this opportunity to return Kasumi's tease. "Yes. But, what's wrong? Oh, don't tell me you're lonely, huh?"
And what Tsugumi didn't expect was Kasumi who only nodded with a blush appearing on her face. Seeing that scene made Tsugumi feel embarrassed too.
Ugh, it's not fair Kasumi-chan, how can you be this cute anyway? Tsugumi thought.
Although the atmosphere was awkward, they felt that the world seemed to belong to the two of them, because they were so oblivious that the visitors who were there just watched them with smiles developing on their faces.
