I interpreted this prompt as Harry and Hermione's first times using magic- including accidental magic.
Harry inadvertently apparating on top of his school's roof while trying to get away from Dudley and his gang is canon but I don't know if it's actually his first instance of magic. It's definitely his first most impressive one though. As for Hermione, I don't remember if any instances of her doing accidental magic as a kid is mentioned in the books. I have a vague memory of reading somewhere that she once turned her bland sugar-free cereal into a much tastier sweeter cereal... However this is likely something I read in a fanfic once lmao. It's a great idea tho so I drew it! (if it's your fic I'm remembering please let me know...)
