After ten years together, it’s almost impossible for Peter to surprise Stiles. He does his best, but usually, Stiles ferrets out the truth well in advance and the reveal becomes a matter of smug one-upmanship.
So Stiles knows that Peter is planning something special for his birthday, that plane tickets are involved, and that Peter has contacted his father. On the day, he’s certain Peter has been arranging for his dad to come stay awhile.
When Peter hands him plane tickets to Wroclaw, Poland, where his mother’s family lives, Stiles huffs a laugh. “Oh, you sly fox,” he murmurs, impressed.
