Chapter Text
Alhaitham had recently seen the new sale at his favourite flower shop. Money had never been a problem for Alhaitham but he would accept any excuse to buy some flowers, even if he would have to buy them for Amara. Alhaitham always came to Kavehs flower shop to buy flowers for his grandmother but, since his parents had just arranged a stupid business relationship, Alhaitham would have to buy them for her instead. Alhaitham walked in to be greeted by his favourite employee.
“Alhaitham! It’s been a while since you’ve been here, is there anything I can help you with today?” Kaveh asked with a wide smile on his face
“Hi, I'm here to pick up a bouquet of flowers as usual.”
“Perfect, I'll go grab them. Are these for your grandmother?”
“Ah, no, just make it to Amara.”
“Girlfriend?” Kaveh asked putting his hand over his mouth right after
“She’s- she’s just a friend.” At least in Alhaithams eyes, she was just a friend. However, he couldn’t say the same about his parents.
While Kaveh had gone to the back to pick up the flowers Alhaitham ordered he looked around as his eyes locked on a beautiful red bouquet, which reminded him of Kaveh’s beautiful eyes. Alhaitham was sure that his long-time crush on the florist had been quite obvious. Of course, Alhaitham loved his grandmother and the flowers that this shop sold, but it was all just an excuse to see Kaveh regularly.
“Here is your bouquet!” Kaveh exclaimed as he walked through to the front with the bouquet of flowers in his hands.
“Thank you Kaveh,” Alhaitham replied with a smile
Kaveh turned away as he asked if Alhaitham needed anything more, heavy blush on his neck, Alhaitham thought it was cute.
“Yes actually, did you want to go out for lunch sometime? If you are free.”
“Ah- sure! I’m free tomorrow at lunch, we can go then!” Kaveh spoke as he gave a wide smile to Alhaitham.
Alhaitham stood motionless, mesmerized by the beautiful man in front of him.
“Alhaitham? If it’s not a good tim-“
“No, it’s perfec-, that’s great,” Alhaitham replied smiling back.
“I’ll see you tomorrow then, have a safe trip back!”
“Thank you, Kaveh, have a nice night.”
