Hello, everyone! ♥
Before you can start reading, I have some things to say.
- This is a Jikook version of the anime Given, aired in 2019. The manga is published since 2014, written and illustrated by Natsuki Kizu. She is fully the owner of the plot. I changed some things here and there, included a few things, changed some of the moments, adapted the characters and places, and turned everything to text only, but the plot itself is the same.
- This is a story about growing up, learning feelings, frustrations, and youth. It has its drama, but it's a beautiful story. Nobody here is a bad person, all of the characters are just humans, with good and bad feelings, which we all have. There's no "villain" here.
- Trigger warning: there are minor mentions of suicide, depression and anxiety. It's not heavily described or focused, but it's there.
- You'll maybe notice that this story is written in a very specific way. It's very direct and succinct. I always wish that people experience stories in their own way, and this one even more. As the story goes on, everything seems to become more anxious, the writing too. Maybe it's not for everyone, but it's intentional.
- There are side characters named as other kpop group's idols, for appearance matters only. It's a way to put a face to everyone here. Remembering that no character reflects the personality of the real person.
- English isn't my native language, I try to be really careful, but mistakes still happen, so I apologize in advance. I just hope you can always understand the story! ♥
Anyways, that's it for now! Any new notes I need to add I'll put here, and I usually won't leave beginning or ending notes in the chapters.
