Kagami pov
Kagami Taiga was not what people considered an observant guy .He often got lost in his own world and focused more on his actions rather than the subtle details around him.And he didn't really care , it was not his business all he cared about is Basketball .
However, there was one particular matter that had been right under his nose for quite some time, and when he finally put two and two together, he couldn't believe how oblivious he had been.
Today, Kagami found himself in a thrilling two-on-two basketball match, teamed up with his friends Kuroko, Aomine, and Kise.
" Oh Bakagami is already here ." Aomine greeted .
Kagami's scowl deepened as he met Aomine's confident smirk. "I am gonna kick your ass Aho." Kagami shot back.
Amidst the intense glare-off between him and his rival, Aomine, Kise decided to break the tension
."Now now Aominecchi . Play nice won't you ? "
The blonde grinned as he wrapped an arm around his friend’s shoulders and whispered something that made the navy blue haired teen snort .
It , made Kagami feel like he was witnessing an intimate moment . Kagami had seen these moments before, but he didn't think much of them. After all, they were teammates and good friends, right?
Like , The way Kise's eyes would linger a little longer on Aomine, or the soft smiles they exchanged
But as time went on, these seemingly random moments became more frequent than before and even the red haired Baka was getting suspicious. He couldn't shake off the feeling that there was something more between the two members of the generation of miracles .
As the game progressed, Aomine and Kise seemed to be dominating the court, leaving Kagami and the Kuroko trailing behind. Kise effortlessly copied Kuroko's pass once again, setting up Aomine for another swift dunk. The frustration in Kagami's expression grew, and he couldn't help but curse under his breath .
Meanwhile, Aomine and Kise appeared to be thoroughly enjoying themselves. Aomine chuckled in amusement at Kagami's annoyance . He then slid closer to Kise, whispering something in his ear that elicited a laugh from the blonde.
Seirin ace blinked stupidly then turned to look at his friend an shadow.
"Kuroko? "he called out, seeking confirmation for what he had just heard.
The blue-haired boy caught his friend's unspoken question and nodded calmly.
"They are dating, but they don't know that we know," Kuroko revealed, his expression remaining stoic as always.
" For real ! "
While Kagami was attempting to wrap his head around the new information, Kise approached with a concerned expression.
"Kagamicchi?" Kise called out, sensing something was off.
