It had started that Steve was alone in a seemingly endless world that left him feeling happy, sad, anguished, alone and at peace all at once the day he awoke with only the clothes on his back and the memory of his own name. He would spend
His first night's fighting for survival after many days he no longer had to fend for his life ever night at he could be more or less calm he had build himself a home that was ever expanding and he had his dear dear animals
But every once and awhile he would think and think
The villagers can only trade and speak something completely alien to him, same with illagers and he could not understand what they say no matter how hard he tried. There were days where he wanted to scream at the world for tormenting him in such a way Steve loves the world in its infinite beauty so much.. but why why..! "Who could have done this to me.. why must I see to this life alone..! How could you do this Notch if you even exist..!" He practically begs on the soft grass that he's gripping with his hand looking towards the sky an expression of exhaustion confusion sadness practically trembling as all he can do is cry beacuse he knows he knows that once there were others like him those that cold build and speak and write he sees all that they had left all the temples sunken down in the water. Abandoned portals where they once crossed dimensions the books they wrote of Notch the god who was oh so good the maps they hid and the buried treasure along with it as if they knew that one day they would no longer be around
And there are days steve can barely bare it
Where he can't even stand himself
Where he wishes to return to grass he lay on the day he awoke and let the world take him back but he has his dear animals and what would they do if he were ever gone ?
Who would be there for them in such a large lonely expanse
So steve holds back he keeps on living on the sliver of hope
That one day one day there will be someone out there who he could speak to who he could understand
Steve sits on the grassy hill where he awoke the hill near his house with his cat and his dog enjoying the sunset
When he catches a glimpse of a pair of white eyes watching him he is at first scared but he dares to take a closer look to find a man who he had only seen in the ancient texts along with notch a fallen one of sorts he never really knew if all that was true but when he sees steve he runs to him and holds him with sincerity that one would not expect from a God of the underworld but there he was
And with a small whisper he said
"It's okay"
Ever since that day many more who had awaken found each other Alex, Efe, Makena ,Noor, Ari, Zuri, Sunny and Kai
Herobrine had redeemed himself by bringing them together and now he would live with them
After so much time Steve had no longer been alone and terrified though he still has nightmares from his many moons of isolation that he has lived. there are still days where he wonders if he had just gone insane or died the day he saw herobrine but even if that did happen it was ok now he could live and share his joys and fears his memories and they would be there for him
He was no longer alone in the universe
