SCP-9923
Object Class: Safe
Spepticle doesn't know why they're lockin him up but he's here no matter. He's just here, sat on the cold floor of this cell of nothing but the white floor, walls, and ceiling. The lights inside the room are incredibely bright and he's just looking down at the floor, constantly shifting.
"SCP-9923." Spepticle hears a voice, clearly tired.
"Um..." Spep stands up and looks to the one way window leading to the second part of his cell. "Who are you?'
"That's...." Their voice drifts, searching for an answer of sorts. "Dr. Ash. Yeah."
Spep walks(or what looks to be like walking) towards the one-way window. There's a bit of aa height at it and he really can't see who it is.
"I'm gonna ask you some questions and.... yeah. Answer as truthfully as you can or as how you remember the details."
Spep nods. "I can do that, no problem."
He hears some paper shuffling. Some shifting behind the voice.
"What's your name?" The doctor asks him, voice still as monotone and exhausted as the first time Spep's heard it.
"Spepticle,"
"Spectacle?"
"No!" He yells. "Spep-ti-cle... or Spep."
"Okay, weird name but okay-"
"I can still hear you."
The other side just scoffs and then clears his voice. "Wow. These anomalies, I swear..." The doctor shifts once more and Spep drags himself around the room. "Okay, are you aware of what you look like?"
Spep looks down at his hands, briht red slime shaped into his humanoid figure. "Yeah? I see myself in that blackout window of yours since two or more hours ago. Obviously I would know that I am not at all a human."
"Oh, so you are aware?" The doctor asks. "Okay, makes this easier then."
"Can you turn down the brightness of the lights in this room?" Spep asks and surprisingly, the doctor manages to make the lights into a softr and warmer light. "Thank you."
"Have you always been this way or were you somehow turned into becoming a slime?"
Spepticle thinks, sat down. He forgot the exact details but knows the summary of it. "Uh... I was eighteen or something and then like- I went to.... this place. I think- yeah, it was a club and then somewhere in there I blacked out and then I woke up in a tub filled with thi red and semi-clear liquid and yeah, here I am."
He hears the doctor pause, clicking something. A pen or whatever and all Spep can hear i the silence between them and the soft buzz of a low static on th microphone.
"Um... doctor? Doctor... Ash?"
"I'm still here," Ash replies. He coughs, clearing his throat. "um... what were your first thought becoming a slime-creature?"
"I was horrified beyond- beyond explanation." Spep says. "Being in a tub of strange liquid and your body compeletly different brings out that side of you, y'know?"
"Yeah,"
"And then I was all like, okay, what if I tried living by myself? And I found out my body only focuses on getting hydration rather than food which was a plus." Spepticle explains to the doctor. "And then I got captured by you guys and brought to this really whte room torturesque place."
"Standard procedure for newer anomalies like you." Dr.Ash says. "But then if you're a safe anomaly or is atleast compliant with tests and interviews then you get to have privilages like entertainment such as comic books."
"Can I have comic books?" Spepticle asks, and he's hopeful.
"We have to meet your standard requirements, which are your needs." Dr.Ash responds with. "But if you keep up an actually decent attitude unlike some seventeen feet tall fish bitch that keeps slamming against it's containment, you can get some other stuff."
"Cool!" The slime exclaims. "I'll sleep in a tub, since I stick to bed mattresses."
"Do you want running water with that?"
"Appreaciated."
"Okay." Dr. Ash says. "Well it was nice talking to you, I trust that I will leave you alone and you won't do anything to give me a headache because that siren is enough..."
"Don't worry, I was alone in an abonded building for seven months, I can do this." Spepticle says to assure the other.
Ash leaves and Spepticle can hear the doctor leave. Well all he can do is wait for a bed in this uncomfortable unit.
