We Don't Talk About "Every"

Summary:

Song Parody based off of Encanto: We Don't Talk About Bruno

Song Lyrics based off of Season 2 of Good Omens

[This is all in good humor towards Neil Gaiman and the cast and crew of the show, and slightly teasing my friend who accidentally saw "Every" and was desperately waiting for it as well as trying to keep it from me]

Notes:

(See the end of the work for notes.)

Work Text:

We don't talk about Every, he, he, he!

We don't talk about Every… but

It was the screening day

It was our premier day

We were getting ready, there was nothing to slow the wifi

Nothing can slow the wifi

Gaiman walks in with a mischievous grin-

Lightning!

You telling this story, or am I?

I'm sorry, my friend, go on

Gaiman says, "It’s about love”

Why did he tell us?

Crowley gives the girls a shove

Jim can get the umbrellas

Romance raining from above

What a hilarious day... but anyway

We don't talk about Every, he, he, he!

We don't talk about Every!

Hey! Grew to live in fear of Neil giving some foreshadowing

Listen to the interviews of both the stars so humbling

I associate the show with the sound of symbolic songs, *click, click, click*

It's a heavy burden, the director humbling

Bringing Terry’s spirit to prevent the script from fumbling

Teasing us with prophecies we couldn't know for long

Waited for so long…

A six-foot frame

Naked with a box

When he walks the streets

The bookshop he knocks

Yeah, he knows nothing

And Crowley will scream (GET OUT!)

We don't talk about Every, he, he, he! (We don't talk about Every, he, he, he!)

We don't talk about Every (We don't talk about Every)

He told us to wait and see

The next day: dead! (No, No!)

He told us it’s the in-between!

And just like he said... (No, No!)

He said season three’s the end, it fills us with dread (No, No! Hey!)

Our fate is watching to craft theories instead!

David told, that the love would grow, from the moment they stood at the wall

Michael spoke, that their love was before, up in space just before the fall

Óye, the show is on it’s way

Neil told us that the fans would all scream when we reach Every

So don’t see the spoiler

It's like I see it now

Hey friend, I want not a sound out of you (it's like I can see it now)

I can see it now

Um, Every…

Yeah, about that Every…

I really need to know about Every…

Gimmie the scene and the whole scene, Every

(David Tennant, your boyfriend's here)

Time to binge watch!

A six-foot frame (it was our premier day, it was the screening day)

Naked with a box (we were getting ready)

When he walks the streets (there was nothing to slow the wifi)

The bookshop he knocks (Nothing can slow the wifi)

Yeah, he knows nothing (Gaiman walks in with a mischievous grin-)

And Crowley will scream  (Lightning!)

You telling this story, or am I?

I'm sorry, my friend, go on (Óye, the show is on it’s way)

Gaiman says, "It’s about love” (A six-foot frame, naked with a box)

Crowley gives the girls a shove

Romance raining from above

It’s here!

Don't talk about Every, no! (Why did I talk about Every?)

Not a word about Every!

I never should've thought about Every!

Notes:

I wrote this while half asleep at midnight since the idea wouldn't leave my brain no matter how much I tried to just go to bed. Feel free to roast me or not roast me.

If roasted, please use apple smoked wood and smoked salts for the best flavor.
If you'd rather flame me remember to bring your own marshmallows and chocolate. I will provide the graham crackers.

Either way, hope you enjoyed my sillier contribution if you come across this.
