   Summary

   He tells her it's over, yet he visits her every night in her dreams. He tells her not to follow, yet always makes sure that the trail leads straight to him. He tells her that his path is one he must walk alone, yet it keeps taking him back to her.

   How far is he willing to go to restore the world he once destroyed to save? How far is she willing to go to stop him?

   A retelling of Veilguard with Lavellan as the protagonist (aka Lavellan IS Rook) that focuses on her complicated relationship with Solas. Starts near the end of Inquisition and continues through Veilguard and slightly beyond. Includes flashbacks to Inquisition. Mostly canon compliant with some small and large liberties taken at times (and a bunch of stuff from Joplin woven back in for good measure).
