But With Jina I felt safe..

Chapter One

The  Prank

“I don’t get why we have to do this Jina.. I’m not as smart as you..” the odd human said, seemly they looked annoyed yet happy about what the group was doing. Even if it was just a house break.

“oh please ____ it’s fine.. maybe if I do this it’ll..” the elven said in a whisper they both could hear, mumbling about the illegal things they were doing… children these days…

“but Jina if we’re caught who knows what’ll happen.. we could be.. I don’t know.. tried? Wait is there even a court house here..?” The human said so low the elf could barely hear, the elven girl didn’t see what was wrong. All they were doing was playing a little prank.

“you worry too much ____ it’ll be alright, all we’re doing is going in and out, don’t worry! Hassian is always asleep by this time… I think.. anyways hold this.” The elf gave the human a weird looking device, eh what harm could it do.

“I don’t know.. this feels… too easy, even for Hassian, he’s always like fifty steps ahead of us.. anyways what exactly ARE we doing? I thought we were going to pu-“  as fast as an elf could run, the window they were under opened.

“I’m sure I heard voices Hassian…”  A woman’s voice came, notably it is Sinuu, Hassian’s mother.

“I think you’re going crazy mom, it’s midnight, I’m going to bed.” he sighed exasperated, his mother was bagging on him for not talking to the new human. It was one human, all the humans talk to him so much he has to stay inside just to get peace.

“whatever Hassian.. I’m so sure.. hm” she sighed, she was tired from a days work, sleep does sound good…

“oh. My. God. How did we not get found.. oh my god we’re getting in so much trouble Jina!!” The human talked to nothing but a imprint of what was there once before, a elf who ran fast.

“jina? Jina?..”

“Im here! Over here!” A faint hushed voice came from a neighboring bush.

“jina?.. oof there you are.. where did you go?”The human said in a whisper.

“I hid! You just crouched there like a sore thumb!” The elven said loudly yet somehow quietly.

“uh no! I hid in a bush!” The human said defending their bush.

“mhm sure… I think we gotta go.. it’s too late and I’m *yawns* tired..”  the elf said tiredly…

“Sounds amazing…” the human said, the group decided a prank on Hassian wasn’t worth their precious beauty sleep.

The cooking always guides

Chapter Two

The inn

Reth I got the ingredients for the soup!

Hm? Oh great! Now all we have to do is go to the prep station and chop..

um reth?.. the human looked confused.

yeah ___? What is it?.. Reth looked towards the human and immediately yelled.

oh my god! Quick get the water!! 

The human began to run towards the sink and grabbed a cup of water.. soon the water was on the burned stew.. 

….

Oh my god.. Reth.. the human looked almost.. giddy

heh what are you giggling about sweet tooth?  He looked lovingly at them.

Its just.. we’re the “cook masters” and we somehow burned the stew. they giggled with happy tears in their eyes.

okay okay get it out your system.. he said giggling as-well. Ashura is probably wondering why we’re being so loud.. he sighed, momentarily forgetting the stew.

Anyways.. let’s go get the trash can.. kinda sad we gotta throw it away.. Reth felt saddened for just a moment when.

Who says we have too? I think some of it is edible if we boil it a bit and pick off the burnt flavor.. the human said a little jokingly.

Hey that’s not actually a bad idea.. guess your the real master cook, eh, eh? He said giggling at his joke

It’s master cook and we’re both master cooks! Ya know I learned from the best~ they said in a singing tone only to be cut off when-

Hey you two! Are you roughhousing? A deep but steady voice came threw the door.

Ashura! Reth opened the door and met the big man smiling at it.

You know I’m playing with ya kids- sniff sniff, is that soup I smell?  The man came threw the door to be met with one human sitting on a chair and a pot of stew.

Try some Ashura! The human said happily.

I’m good ____, but thank you for the offer. Anyways I’ll be heading up now.. don’t stay up too late kids.

Bye Ashura! And we won’t don’t worry! The human said jokingly.

Bye Ashura.. And we’re not kids! Reth yelled out.

Hm.. ah…. It’s already 12:00! Don’t you have work soon? The human looked at Reth urgently.

Yeah I do.. it’s late already you should get home soon ____. He said sadly, hoping this moment wouldn’t last.

Aw don’t worry reth I’ll see you tomorrow.. er in the morning! The human looked at reth, giving him a slight smile and a little kiss on the cheek.

heh, thanks sweet tooth.. alright I’ll see you in the morning. He said his goodbye with a smile, 

oh, totally forgot about the stew..  oops..
