You Came Back Home a Fucking Alien

Summary:

George went out with some friends one night and faced the harsh realities of the world of drink drugging. He avoided a lot of people physically and emotionally for a month before he was finally ready to talk about what happened to him that night from a random asshole at a bar.

Luckily his best friend and his boyfriend were there to comfort him.

Plz read the tags and authors note before reading

Notes:

It’s note rape and sexual assault between Dream and George. It’s between George and a random man who drugged him at a bar. In no way am I romanticizing those horrible things or trying to make them something they aren’t. This is simply a fictional thing that I wrote as a way to cope with my own issues and I like writing. So please stay safe during this story!!

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

<!> if you aren’t a big tag reader or maybe didn’t look closely at the tags or the authors note, I just want to put a TW in the story. There is mentions of rape, Self Harm and Sexual assault in this story. As explained in the authors note, It’s note rape and sexual assault between Dream and George. It’s between George and a random man who drugged him at a bar. In no way am I romanticizing those horrible things or trying to make them something they aren’t. This is simply a fictional thing that I wrote as a way to cope with my own issues and I like writing. So please stay safe during this story!! <!>

George unlocked the door and waved goodbye to Larray and Issa who were driving down the driveway. Issa had dropped the two of them off at the bar and picked them up hours later.

George walked through the door and crouched down to pet Patches after he toed his shoes off. He heard Dream sit up on the couch and make his way over to the brunette to greet him. George stood up and flinched away as Dream went to put an arm around his waist and kiss him.

Dream tilted his head a bit but rightfully kept his distance, he knew sometimes his boyfriend wasn’t always in the mood for physical touch and always respected him. George offered a small smile, the alcohol hardly pushing at his brain anymore. He was drained.

Because George wasn’t good at telling people how he feels. It took him and Dream years to date because George just didn’t know how to express the things he felt for the blonde.

It was hard for him to show a lot of feelings. It took a lot for him to talk to Dream about the dark times in his loneliness of his England flat to cause the horrible marks on his soft skin. But he loved and trusted Dream, and the blonde would have seen them eventually after they started dating. George wasn’t an idiot. He knows what couples do in their alone time.

And after letting that weight off his chest, he smiled more and accepted hugs and kisses and cuddles… he allowed Dream to hold him tight, or ambush him on the couch with physical attention. He had been doing so much better.

So why couldn’t he tell Dream what just happened.

He should have told Larray, he enjoys spending time with the man and he had been there and just too busy dancing and hanging out with some of their other friends that he only thought George went outside to get air. He didn’t notice how quiet George was after. He didn’t notice the red puffy nose and the swollen eyes or how sticky his face was from the salty tears.

He didn’t notice how George’s arms wrapped tightly as a way to protect himself from everyone around him.

He didn’t notice the instant sobriety from alcohol, or the wooziness of whatever he had accidentally consumed that was tossed into his drink at some point.

He didn’t notice how quickly George had broke that night.

Dream noticed things, George could tell.

Dream noticed how George poked at 90% of his meals with his fork on his plate as everyone else ate before he tossed the food into the bin.

Dream noticed how even in the hotness of Florida, that George was in pants and hoodies, with the hood up and a blanket around his shoulders.

Dream noticed the tremors in his small hand. And the flinching with contact.

Dream noticed the late night sobs in the locked bathroom, in which he tries to knock and gets no answer.

Dream noticed the oversleeping, and the undersleeping, and the need for space at all times. Even from Patches.

He noticed how George didn’t drink from anything that didn’t come out of a bottle he had to open. Or how George always was interested in sipping on his friends’ drinks before they could, insisting he had to try it first to make sure his friends would like them. He noticed how George never used to share drinks before, especially ones they both knew he didn’t like.

“Georgie…” Dream spoke softly, walking into George’s room. George doesn’t sleep in Dream’s room anymore. He hadn’t in over a month. Not since the night it all went wrong for him.

“Dreamie.” George said with a sniffle. He had been crying, and obviously loud because Dream wouldn’t have just walked in unless he knew something was wrong.

“I’m not going to ask you to talk to me until you are ready… but do you need anything? A water bottle? A hug? Anything?”

George let out a breath, he couldn’t stop the tears slipping down his face, it was suffocating him to be alone. And if he were honest, he missed his boyfriend.

“I miss you.” George said, sitting up in the bed. He never called it his, it was a foreign place since he moved in. It was cold and empty, even as his body took up some space.

“I miss you too, baby. But I know that you need space and time. I’m willing to wait for you as long as you need me too.” Dream offered him such a gentle smile that George nearly died from the smile alone. George patted the bed and Dream sat down, allowing some distance between them. George leaned his head on Dream’s shoulder and Dream waited a moment before wrapping his arms around George and holding the brunette close. George sobbed into his chest.

“Some guy put something in my drink at the bar with Larray and the others. They thought I had gone out for air. He took me to his car.” George said and Dream kissed his head. “I know it’s not my fault… and I know that I don’t have to tell you now but I’m ready to talk about it.”

Dream rubbed a hand on his back. “I’m very happy that you told me.” Dream paused for a moment, “And I’m so sorry that happened to you, baby. But it’s not your fault at all.”

“I know that now, I think. I didn’t tell anyone… I wasn’t sure how.” George clutched Dream tighter. “I miss being okay. And I miss you… and I even miss being forced to cuddle Pandas.”

Dream chuckled before he let out a breath. “We’ll go at your pace. You can tell him if you want to, when you want to.”

“Can you have him come in here?” George asked after a minute of silence.

“You sure?”

“Yes..”

Dream grabbed his phone from his pocket and texted Sapnap to come to George’s room. Sapnap was there in a minute and walked over to the bed, he saw the tears on Dream’s cheeks as he held George tightly. George was clutching Dream like he would leave.

“What’s wrong?” Sapnap asked.

George moved a bit to allow Sapnap room on the bed and patted the other side to allow the younger man to sit down and have George between him and Dream. George gave Sapnap the okay to play with his hair. “Pandas,” George started. “When I went to the bar with everyone a little over a month ago… some guy had slipped something into my drink. It didn’t put me to sleep, it only made me too woozy to function. He then dragged me out to the parking lot and to his car. I couldn’t fight him at all, I had no strength.” George took a few breaths. Dream and Sapnap were both being patient with him and letting him go at his pace. They knew it was going to be a lot for him to talk about whatever happened. But that didn’t stop Sapnap from having tears slip down his own face to match Dream’s. “I just had to lay there till he allowed me to walk back into the bar with everyone else. I told them all I went out for air as they assumed. It finally hit me as I walked through the door of the house.”

Sapnap sighed and kissed the brunette’s head, “You’re so brave, George.” Sapnap spoke softly. “Thank you for trusting us to talk to us, we love you and will be here for you forever.”

George nodded and wiped the tears from Dream’s face before turning and wiping them from Sapnap’s face.

“I love you both.” George muttered. “You’re my best friends and I trust you guys to help me with processing and recovering from this. I just needed the time to figure out exactly what happened. But I miss you guys and I could use you now.”

“And we will be with you every step of the way, Georgie. We promise.” Dream assured and George smiled, adjusting to laying down properly. The other two followed and they just held him through the night.

Recovery seemed possible with the two of them by his side.

Notes:

I know it wasn’t the longest fic ever but I didn’t want to spend too much time on such a harsh topic. Like I said, this was more a vent situation in the form of a fictional situation!
