Chapter 1: The Beginning

Chapter Text

Her name was Juliet Alexandra Renea and her life was remarkable. Alexandra’s parents were the tough-love type of people and raised their children with tough forms of affection, they were the people responsible for raising such a beauty. Her mother taught Yule and her sister, Ella, manners and the art of grace and her dad taught them the importance of awareness, trust and truth. And along the way, she was taught various importances throughout life, from school life and to outside life, she was taught everything.

Her family was the average family, her father worked a nine-to-five job and her mother stayed at home, she went to a private school and they would go to their motherland during the summer holidays. Alexandra had a group of friends to hang out with and she'd help clean the house when visitors came. Her parents would teach her, they would have family hangouts, and she would fight with her sister every now and then. They were a happy family, with small, but fixable, problems. It's been 8 years since Alexandra graduated college, only 2 marks from becoming valedictorian, she was a psychology major but ended up working an office job and did some modelling part-time as an apprentice, she held the nickname 'beautiful curse' for reasons that she cared not to address.  She had stage practice after work for a new clothing brand that had just opened up in the area and she was bringing Ella with her, as she wanted to be a model herself. After a few more hours at work and they both left for the studio. There, she was in the makeup room, happily getting ready as her sister went around to look. Once done she made her way to the runway for a practice run before the casting. One…Two…Three…Eighteen…Twenty-five… She was next.

She walked down that runway, getting a feel of the space, when all of a sudden, her heel broke. She didn’t know what happened following the heel break, she felt the sensation of falling and hitting the ground, but something didn’t feel right, all she saw was red dripping down her whole body.

The pain was numbing, she couldn't feel anything but she knew it hurt. The warm feeling of liquid falling from her eyes were assumed to be tears but went she had went to wipe them a shard was felt, whether it was glass, wood or metal, she couldn't tell with the paralyzing feeling in every part of her body. The shock and confusion seemed to egg on the pain she couldn't feel, not knowing what was felt and what was causing it made it worse.

"El..? El?" She couldn't speak anymore, searching for her sister, at least to redeem herself to the extent of being a good sister.  Am I dying? I don’t want to die. Please I’m scared… All the words she wanted but couldn’t say, the words got stuck in her throat, unable to understand, she wanted to scream and cry, but her body didn’t permit it.

“Alex… don't worry, you'll be alright" She could hear their sister's sorrowful cries, I wish I could read her mind right now...

"Don't cry... 's not elegant..." Elegance was one of the first things they were taught, manners, poise, posture, what a shame. Installed in her brain, it was second nature, as easy as breathing... well... as easy as breathing when you don't have a metal pole going through you.

'I don't feel like I've done anything for her... or my family... I should've done more... I couldn't even walk down a runway properly... how pitiful.'

She never got her father's beautiful white hair or her mother's near-white eyes of green, not even her soothing voice. She couldn't be as brave as her father nor as commanding or strong, all she ever got were grades but her sisters were higher. She knew she shouldn't be jealous but it was simply human nature. Thoughts of her life thread her mind like a needle. Frustration for not remembering everything, slowly stitching their memories, adding missing pieces, the numb pain started to fade. The light seemed so hard to find and then...

It’s beautiful… So bright… When she found it, she reached out and grabbed it.

“don…’t save.. me…” All of a sudden, a voice spoke, it was monotone, black, and empty of any humane characteristics. With a masculine tune and an uneven rhythm, it was almost robotic in a sense.

“All requests have been heard, calculated and morphed. Searching for a new body, new soul, new world in progress.

Sacrifice is needed for the body. Sacrifice your body?”
[yes/no]
'yeah sure...'

Sacrifice is needed for the soul.
Sacrifice your soul?

[yes/no]
'do what you want.'

Transferring... 'What even is that? It's... pitch black... is this death?'

5%… 10%... 15%… 20%…25% Pain.

Nothing has been more painful. It was unbearable. Agonizing. Excruciating. In just one scream. It was deathly... who is screaming...

The once robotic voice merged into what sounded like a childish adult.

That would be you, the pain of transporting one's mind into another is a painful process if the victim is aware, unfortunately, if you lose conscience now, your mind will be lost, creating a flip in the files of movement, looking through piles of paperwork and moving from time to space looking for your mind isn't an ideal weekend for me... sorry not sorry

'Asshole... but agreed, working overtime without pay is top 3 for worst work experience...'

SEE I KNEW YOU'D GET ME!!! Also, you're gonna go now so...

She started to wonder who she was talking to, unknownst to her, this mysterious voice could hear her question

My name is Chronos!!! God of time!!! Okay now leave me alone. Enjoy your new life kid.

90%… 95%… 100%... loading... done. Transaction complete... loading... you are in the world of Naruto... as a Yamanaka, heiress of the clan, platinum blonde hair, pale green eyes, the affinity for water, earth and fire, added affinity: time, 150 IQ... take care... Ino Yamanaka.

'I'm Naruto? Like... actually? As Ino? 150? I... Should welp I can't turn back time so let's just go with the flow~'

Then she felt pain once more. Like she was in a narrow tunnel and it just keeps getting smaller and smaller, her bones felt weak as if they were underdeveloped...

"She's beautiful...Ino my dear..."

'pardon? I was already born? I guess that's why it hurts...'

Ino wasn't crying out loud, she didn’t sob or wail like most newborns, she had tears rolling down her face but no sounds were made, it concerned the nurses so they took the baby to make sure she was alright. Thankfully, she was not in any sort of life-threatening situation, so the nurses cleaned her up and wrapped her in a towel before handing her off to her new mother. When Ino opened her eyes, they were all relieved and shocked, her eyes looked so pure, not that they thought that it would look any different, but they certainly were not thinking that their new baby girl's eyes would look like the stars had blessed them with its dust. Inoichi knew he was going to spoil her before but now he was going to make her into a princess and Suzuki was entranced, she was known for her beauty and how sophisticated she was and she knew her daughter would be beautiful, take it from her mother or father, but being so charming just by opening her eyes. Both parents knew. She was going to be spoilt rotten. Ino could see the love in her new parent's eyes, it reminded her of when she became an adult, and her parents showered her with praise. She was happy, and so she smiled, small but noticeable, it was gentle and warm, and her parents subconsciously relaxed at the action.

I'll change. I'll be better. I'll be kinder, stronger, smarter, and more. I will live.
