you sigh and sit on the edge of your bed, your eyes red from crying and your cheeks completely soaked.
you and your boyfriend Hyunjin got in a really bad fight four days ago and have gone no-contact since then.
you obviously didn’t handle it well, spending little to no time outside of your room, waiting for him to finally text you.
you turn on your phone and start scrolling on social media when you suddenly get a text from your friend.
it reads: ‘hey girl. has he texted you yet?’
you type out a response and click send. Your message reads: ‘no i miss him so much..’
‘i feel so bad for you, y/n. i wish i could come over to comfort you, but i’m so busy at the moment.’ she replies.
‘it’s alright, i’m sure he’ll come back soon. don’t beat yourself up over it. ❤️’ you write and smile.
‘okay, if you say so.. you know him better than i do anyway. i need to go now. talk to you later!’ your friend writes back and you close your messages to continue mindlessly scrolling on your social media.
after what seems to be just a couple minutes, you check the time.
“oh shit, it’s already 21:45? I swear it was just 17:00 a couple minutes ago..” you say, and that’s when you hear a knock at the door.
you quickly scurry down the stairs to the main entrance of your house. you open the door and you’re met with a surprise: hyunjin, with a bouquet of flowers in his hands and tears in his eyes.
the expression painted on his face makes it obvious that he was missing you as much as you missed him, and your heart shatters at the sight.
“i’m so, so sorry, babe.. i’m so, so sorry.. i should’ve never gotten mad at you.. it’s all my fault. please, forgive me?” he says, sniffling as he wipes away his tears. “i missed you so much.. so, so much.” he continues.
you bring him into your arms and kiss the top of his head lovingly.
“it’s okay. i forgive you, jinnie.” you tell him as he buries his face in the crook of your neck. you feel his tears on your body as he sobs in your arms, and it isn’t hard to see that the feeling of guilt had swallowed him whole for these past four days.
“i thought you weren’t gonna forgive me.. i thought i was gonna lose you!” hyunjin exclaims, his cries becoming even louder.
“shh, hyunjin.. i’m not going anywhere.” you say as you close the door behind you two and bring him to the couch, his head resting right in the middle of your breasts.
his arms cling around your waist as his sobs become quieter. you stroke his hair softly, giving it little kisses every once in a while.
“gosh, i love you so fucking much.. i don’t deserve you.” he whispers and looks up at you.
“i love you too, jinnie.” you reply, giving him a kiss on the lips. he blushes extremely hard and buries his face in your chest yet again, making you chuckle.
“aw, did hyunjin get shy?” you ask and he slowly nods. “gosh, you’re so cute.. i’m so glad you’re mine.”
