Why hello there, good sirs and madams and everyone in between! I am back again with another outstanding recipe that will leave you licking all ten fingers after you’re done (and coming back for more.) But before we jump into the recipe itself, I believe you will greatly enjoy the brief story of how I came to the creation of this new, delicious snack.
As some of my dedicated readers may already know, I have been caught up in a war between my good friends and I and the evil madman at the head of the Perimeter. It all started as a simple mistake, when me and G accidentally caused some damage to a mining machine of his. Which, might I add, was absolutely not our fault, because who would leave stacks upon stacks of explosives unattended like that? Either way, we tried to apologize, even leaving a sizable pile of gifts behind, (including a whole box of my famous Scarland Specials, which you can make yourself, if you just follow this link!) but none of it seemed to please the Goat, who then went on to leave even more explosives, somehow floating above my garden! I managed to disable them, thankfully, no harm done to me, or my kitchen. But you know I had to retaliate somehow! So me and G headed to the nearby chicken farm and released all of their livestock into his Perimeter. There were thousands upon thousands of chickens, it was a very strange sight, I can tell you that much. I’ve been making a lot of chicken-based foods recently, as you might guess. (My favorite so far can be found over here!) The Goat retaliated by filling both of our homes with eggs, (leading to some experimentation in the kitchen that yielded some delicious new omelets with a simple kick that you simply must try!) after which me, G and our other friend M decided that we must organize our efforts of retaliation, building a camp next to the Perimeter and naming our group the Buttercups, because those are very pretty flowers, and of course, no other reason! We quickly realized that with a name like that, and a camp as pretty as ours, we had to answer to the Goat’s brutality with kindness, the most effective weapon of them all. And that’s where I come in! I have been cooking – or shall I say baking – up my newest, one might even say moreish Buttercup Cookies. A simple recipe that is as delicious as it is easy to make. I already have boxes of these snacks ready to ship to the Perimeter, and now it’s time for you to be able to enjoy them too, just like the lucky Goat!
