Work Text:
Oxenfurt's bookshops were great, in Eskel's opinion. There were not only historical treatises on past dynasties, but also literature of various peoples: elven poetry or bawdy dwarven songs.
The selection was enormous, but Jaskier had managed to find a special work among these treasures. He had brought Eskel a copy of the diary of Fjall Stoneheart. Excitedly, his bard had explained that this Fjall was kind of witcher who had lived 1200 years ago. Eskel's curiosity was piqued.
He sat in Jaskier's flat and excitedly flipped open a page in the middle of the book, "Met Lark. Useful partnership imaginable."
