You knew how much Zelda was struggling to unlock her sealing power and how much pressure her father was putting on her. You always are there for her as her girlfriend to reassure and comfort her after bad arguments or days where she prays to no avail.
Today however, was different. You got a call from Link telling you about how they went up to the spring of wisdom and zelda ended up passing out in the cold water while praying, pleading for her sealing power to be unlocked. Link had to practically carry her down the mountain, you immediately started to panic asking where they were and link simply said hed come bring her home to you in hateno. You hung up frantically waiting for her arrival.
About 20 minutes later you got a knock at the door which you flew to answer. There he was. Link, holding a cold, mentally and physically exhausted princess. you cried out to her she opened her eyes slowly to reveal a small gentle smile that quickly faded. "quick get her into the bed link follow me" you went up the stairs to which he layed her limp body onto the bed which u quickly covered her up. "You looked up at him, "thank you so so much for bringing her Link" he simply smiled and touched ur shoulder "do you want me to stay?" you thought about it but realized Zelda needed alone time just with you after such a day. "Thanks but i think we'll be alright linky, see you soon have a good evening " he nodes and headed down the stairs and out the door.
You followed down soon after to get the kettle running to make a hot tea for Zelda before she woke. You thought about dinner thought a stew would be perfect but what kind? youd ask Zelda once she was awake. As you started pouring the tea in the cup you heard a very weak cry "rin?" you jumped and said "yes darling im just down here im coming" you hirry up with the freshley made tea and you saw her trying to sit up. "oh nonono you need to stay lying down" as you handed her the tea. She said nothing as she gravbed the tea and you sat down on the bed. She couldnt even look at you, so you decided to speak up "so what happened? you want to talk about it?" she paused stirring her tea before looking up at you eyes full of tears. You gasp "ohmygosh whats the matter love?" she then bursts into tears and right away u put the cup aside and hold her. "It didnt work!! i couldnt do it!!" she said weaping "im such a failure whats wrong with me?! im going to be the downfall of everyone!!" she wept into your shoulder. You felt so much pain for her, you loved her more than anything in the world you couldnt bare hearing her like this and saying that stuff about herself. You pull away from her to her shock but you held her shoulders tears welling up yourself. "Dont you ever say that again. you are NOT a burden nor a failure do you understand me?" she just stared, with her emerald green eyes still full of tears. "You're almost 17 this kind of responsibility shouldnt be placed on such young shoulders. Especially with how your dad treats you" Zelda barely blinked she was staring into your soul it felt like. but you kept going "Princess Zelda of hyrule, you are the single most amazing person i know. I love you so dearly you're the strongest person ill ever know. You're perfect in every way" you let her go and look down. she still hasnt moved, you look up and she stars to tear up again but instead of crying she jumps embracing you you hold her back. "im so incredibly lucky to have you rin, you're everything to me and i love you so much" you couldnt help but tear up again. she pulls away and she starts leaning in as do you, you lock lips and butterflies erupt your stomach as your hands interlock the deeper the kiss goes. you pull away for a breath as you lean ur forehead onto hers jjst staring into her beautiful eyes. you then kiss her forehead and bring her to lying down with you. Shes blushing as she looks into ypur eyes whisper "you're my forever girl" she giggles. "sounds good to me".
