Chapter 1 - Broken beads
Jimin had always been a kind-hearted and trusting individual, but unfortunately, he found himself entangled in a relationship with someone who didn't appreciate him at all. Ki-yun, a guy who seemed charming on the surface, had ulterior motives from the beginning. He had never cared about Jimin and had only pursued him as part of a cruel bet among his friends.
Their relationship started with Jimin falling head over heels for ki-hyun's charm and seemingly genuine interest. Little did he know that ki-hyun was merely playing with his feelings, and behind the scenes, he was laughing along with his friends about the bet they had made. Jimin was unaware that his heart was being toyed with, believing that he had found someone who genuinely cared for him.
As time went on, the relationship started to unravel, and Jimin began to notice some red flags. Hyun's behavior became increasingly erratic and distant, and he seemed to be preoccupied with someone else. It didn't take long for Jimin to discover that Hyun was cheating on him. The betrayal cut deep, and Jimin couldn't understand how someone he had trusted and loved so much could treat him this way.
The revelation of ki-hyun's betrayal shook Jimin to his core, and he confronted him about it. To his dismay, ki-hyun showed no remorse or regret for his actions. Instead, he callously admitted that he never cared about Jimin in the first place and that their entire relationship had been a heartless game.
Heartbroken and feeling utterly used is what jimin felt.
After the painful breakup, Jimin's world seemed to crumble around him. He retreated into himself, shutting out his friends' attempts to console him. The hurt he felt ran deep, and he sought solace in the bottom of a bottle and the haze of cigarette smoke. Despite his friends' efforts to intervene, Jimin remained stubborn and aloof, wearing a façade of smug indifference.
He found refuge in his work designing at a prestigious fashion studio, where Taehyung served as the head model. It was a distraction, a place where he could lose himself in creativity and momentarily forget the pain that gnawed at his heart. As days turned into weeks, Jimin's friends worried about him from afar.
Among the people he distanced himself from was Jungkook, his once closest friend, who had been abroad. When Jungkook finally returned, excited to reunite with everyone, he was taken aback to find that Jimin was absent from the warm welcome.
Concerned for his friend, Jungkook inquired about Jimin's well-being, only to learn about the self-destructive habits he had adopted. Drinking and smoking had become his coping mechanisms, and he had pushed everyone away, even the person he once considered his confidante.
The news of his downward spiral reached Jungkook, and he couldn't bear to see his best friend suffering like this. He knew he had to intervene.
Determined to help Jimin, Jungkook and others decided to visit him at his apartment. They found Jimin in a state of disarray, surrounded by empty bottles and they acrid scent of cigarettes. His once bright eyes were now dull and distant.
......
The sound of his friends' voices outside the door brought him back to the present. He knew they were worried about him, trying to help him heal, but their concern only fueled his anger. He didn't want their pity or their sympathy; he just wanted to be left alone to wallow in his misery.
When Taehyung, Hoseok, yoongi and Jin finally entered his apartment, while jungkook namjoon were on their way, their faces filled with concern, Jimin's anger flared up even more. He didn't want their pity; he didn't want them to see him like this.
"What are you all doing here?" Jimin snapped, his voice sharp and biting. "I told you I don't need your help."
Taehyung stepped forward, his expression gentle. "Jimin, we're just worried about you. We want to help you get through this."
"I don't need your help!" Jimin repeated, his voice rising. "I don't need anyone!"
Hoseok tried to approach him, but Jimin pushed him away. "Just leave me alone! Can't you see I don't want any of you here?"
His friends exchanged worried glances, but they refused to back down. They had seen Jimin at his lowest points before, and they knew that pushing him away was not the answer.
"Jimin, we love you," Jin said softly, his voice filled with compassion. "We're not going to abandon you, no matter how much you push us away."
Jimin's anger wavered for a moment as he looked into their caring eyes, but he quickly shook it off. "Love me? If you really loved me, you wouldn't have let him use me like this!"
Taehyung stepped forward, his voice firm. "We didn't know, Jimin. None of us knew what he was planning."
"That's not an excuse!" Jimin shouted, his anger reaching its peak. "You should have protected me! You should have seen through his lies!"
jin said "are you seriously hearing yourself right now..."
"We're sorry, Jimin," Hoseok said, his voice gentle. "We truly are. But now we're here to support you, no matter what."
Jimin's anger began to give way to the overwhelming pain he felt inside. "I don't know if I can trust any of you anymore," he whispered, tears streaming down his cheeks. "If my own boyfriend could betray me like this, how can I trust anyone?"
After just what jimin thought about all his friends they were sad and decided just to leave.
Jungkook saw the scene unfold and was devastated. they all left and Namjoon had nothing to say either he just patted jk's shoulder and left to with others.
"Jimin, this has to stop," Jungkook said firmly, using his dominant tone. "You can't keep doing this to yourself."
At first, Jimin resisted, brushing off Jungkook's concern with a smug remark. But Jungkook wouldn't back down; he cared too much for his friend to let him continue down this destructive path.
"You can't shut out the world and drown your pain in alcohol," Jungkook continued, his voice tinged with both frustration and compassion. "You have people who love and care about you, including me. We're here to help, but you need to let us in."
The confrontation seemed to shake Jimin, and for a moment, he dropped the façade of indifference. Tears welled up in his eyes as he admitted, "I don't know how to deal with this pain, jungkook. It's too much" just leave Hyung alone.
Jungkook softened his approach, pulling Jimin into a gentle embrace. "You don't have to do it alone, Jimin," he whispered. "Let us be here for you. Lean on us, and together, we'll find a way to heal." jimin boke down in jk's embrace.
"You have to promise me to stop all of this jimin" said jungkook and jimin promised that night he would stop.
Amidst the turmoil of his emotions, Jimin made a solemn promise to his friends that he would try to stop drinking and smoking. He wanted to break free from the self-destructive habits that had taken hold of him. However, the sudden urges, like relentless waves crashing against his willpower, proved to be a formidable challenge.
......
To distract him from his thoughts, his friends also encouraged Jimin to explore new hobbies or revisit old ones he had enjoyed before the relationship with Hyun. Whether it was painting, dancing, or cooking, engaging in activities he loved provided a much-needed respite from the heartbreak.
Understanding the importance of self-care during difficult times, Jimin's friends motivated him to focus on his well-being. They encouraged him to eat well, exercise, and get enough rest. Sometimes, they even joined him in workouts or meditation sessions to make the process more enjoyable.
In moments when the pain seemed unbearable, Jimin's friends were his pillars of strength. They reminded him of his worth and all the amazing qualities that made him special. They emphasized that the way Hyun had treated him said nothing about him but spoke volumes about Hyun's character.
Recognizing that laughter is often the best medicine, Jimin's friends made sure to bring joy and humor into his life. They shared funny stories, inside jokes, and watched funny videos together, lifting his spirits and helping him see that happiness was still possible despite the heartache.
When Jimin struggled with negative thoughts and self-doubt, his friends were quick to replace them with positive affirmations and encouragement. They constantly reminded him of his strengths, achievements, and the bright future that awaited him.
Most importantly jungkook was by his side always.
........
One night, when the weight of his emotions became too overwhelming, Jimin found himself wandering through the dimly lit streets of the city. The haunting allure of a secluded club caught his eye, and in his vulnerable state, he couldn't resist the temptation.
As he entered the club, the pounding music and flashing lights surrounded him, providing a temporary escape from his inner turmoil. The alcohol-infused air embraced him like an old friend, momentarily numbing the pain that had gripped his heart. Jimin took a seat at the bar, hoping that a few drinks would help him forget, at least for a little while.
He tried to convince himself that this was just a one-time thing, a momentary lapse in his resolve. Yet, with each sip of the intoxicating liquid, the weight on his chest seemed to lessen, replaced by a false sense of liberation.
Unknown to Jimin, Jungkook had a nagging feeling that something wasn't right. He couldn't ignore his concern for his best friend. Deep down, he knew that Jimin needed more than just a stern talking to.
Jungkook decided to visit Jimin's apartment again, hoping to find him there, safe and sound. But as he stepped inside, he found the apartment empty. Panic rose within him, and he immediately-
Just then, He got a call from Jimin's phone and he immediately picked it up.
Driven by worry, Jungkook rushed to the club, his heart pounding in his chest. The flashing neon lights and the thumping music assaulted his senses as he searched for Jimin amidst the crowd. It didn't take long for him to spot his friend, but his heart sank when he saw Jimin being attended to by one of the waiters. Jimin seemed disoriented and a little unsteady on his feet, sitting at the bar, a glass of whiskey in hand.
The sight filled Jungkook with a mixture of relief and frustration. He approached Jimin, his expression a blend of concern and anger. "Jimin, what are you doing here? I thought you promised to stop this."
Jimin looked up at Jungkook, his eyes clouded with the effects of alcohol. "I can't help it, Kook," he slurred, a mix of sadness and desperation in his voice. "I just needed to forget, even for a little while."
Jungkook's heart ached at the sight of Jimin in such a vulnerable state. He couldn't bear to see his best friend hurting like this. With a mix of determination and compassion, he gently grabbed Jimin's hand and led him away from the bar, away from the harmful temptations.
As Jungkook drove Jimin back to his apartment, an awkward silence hung between them. Jimin tried to initiate conversation a few times, but Jungkook remained uncharacteristically quiet, his eyes focused on the road ahead. It was clear that something was bothering him, and Jimin couldn't help but feel a twinge of worry.
When they arrived at Jimin's apartment building, he turned to Jungkook, hoping to break the tension that had settled between them. "Kook, talk to me, will you?"
Jungkook sighed softly, his grip on the steering wheel tightening.
But Jimin knew him well enough to recognize when something was bothering him. "This is boring. You're upset, I know, just at least, talk to me" said jimin.
Jimin felt the tears spill over as he realized how much he had been pushing away the people who cared about him the most. "I'm sorry, Kook. I didn't mean to shut you out or make you worry."
Jimin couldn't bear the silence any longer and finally spoke up, his voice filled with vulnerability and determination.
"Kook, please I'll do anything to make things right between us. Please, just tell me what I need to do to make you talk to me again."
Jungkook looked at him intently, his expression serious.
Jimin stood, his heart aching at the thought of the pain he had caused Jungkook. "I am serious, Kook. I'm trying my best to get better and move forward."
"Words won't fix this," Jungkook retorted, his frustration evident. "You can't just say sorry and expect everything to be okay. I trusted you, Jimin, and you broke that trust." you had promised you would stop. Maybe you don't care about our friendship, maybe I should just leave.
Jungkook looked into Jimin's eyes, seeing the genuine fear and desperation in his friend's gaze. He hadn't meant to threaten their friendship, but he needed Jimin to understand the gravity of their situation.
"No, Kook, please don't say that," Jimin pleaded, his voice trembling. "I care about our friendship more than anything.
"Doesn't look like it to me anymore" said Jungkook and went to Jimin and leaned in, his gaze unwavering. "Then prove it to me, if you want me to talk to you again, you'll have to earn it."
"I am sorry, Jimin said again in a low voice. he wiped his face and unsure of what Jungkook meant by "earning" his forgiveness he said "What... what do you want me to do?"
'You know it' saying jungkook leaves jimin alone.

After two days, jungkook thinks maybe jimin changed, so decides to go to him. while on the way he gets a call from jin telling that jimin had visited the club again and this time he was on verge of getting his drink spiked just when jin had arrived and stopped jimin from drinking the spiked drink, he further added that he left jimin home as he has to be somewhere urgently.
jungkook accelerated the speed, as he entered the dimly lit apartment, he saw Jimin sitting on the couch, a half-empty bottle of whiskey in hand and paper band on the hand from the same club he had picked up jimin from 2 days back.
The scent of smoke lingered in the air, and it only served to fuel Jungkook's anger. He took a deep breath, trying to collect his thoughts before he spoke.
"Jimin, this has to come to an end," Jungkook said, his voice firm and laced with frustration.
Jimin looked up, his eyes glassy from the alcohol. "What does?" he slurred, a defiant tone creeping into his voice.
"This drinking, this smoking, shutting everyone out. You're not dealing with your feelings; you're drowning them that too for a stupid shithead who doesn't deserve it" Jungkook retorted, his frustration evident.
"And what do you care?" Jimin shot back, a hint of bitterness in his words. "You were gone for years, and now suddenly, you're an expert on my life?" jimin in his mind knew that jk was always there even fig they lived apart and on the account it was jimin who stopped contact with jk.
Jungkook took a step closer, his jaw clenched. "I care because you're my best friend, Jimin. I care because I hate seeing you like this, hurting yourself like this."
Jimin scoffed, taking another swig of whiskey. "leave" said jimin
Jungkook's eyes darkened, he didn't want to do this but maybe he should give it a try.
He went to jimin, pulled him up from the ground and pulled jimin across his lap face down jimin struggled a lil but eventually gave up. jungkook held jimin on his lap and rested his palm on jimin clothed ass slowly massaging.
jimin said, "Jung-"--- jungkook replied "shhhhh, you are getting punished by being so bad jimin".
'Be good' do you understand" said Jungkook and Jimin shivered. Jimin took a deep breath, trying to steady his emotions.
"I am going to spank you now if you are uncomfortable or want me to stop tell me now". jimin doesn't show any discomfort and just uninterestingly sighs.
"So Jimin," Jungkook's voice was tinged with anger, "what were you thinking? Going to a shady club, like that which is dangerous and irresponsible!" do you have idea what anyone would have done to you if it weren't for the waiter or me.
spank/
"Jungkook seriously i am not a kid-"
spank/
"Tell me jimin, does nothing else matter to you" said jungkook angrily.
Jimin winced at the harshness in Jungkook's tone, but he knew he deserved it. He had let his pain and desperation lead him to make poor choices, and he had put himself in a risky situation.
spank/
aaahhh "I-I didn't mean to..." Jimin tried to explain, but Jungkook cut him off.
spank/
"You didn't mean to? That's not an excuse, Jimin!" Jungkook's anger was palpable, but beneath it, there was also a deep worry
spank/
"I am sorry, said Jimin and stumbled a bit, but Jungkook was patient and kept encouraging him. "You're doing great, Jimin,"
spank/
Tears welled up in Jimin's eyes as he felt the weight of Jungkook's disappointment. He had always admired and respected Jungkook, and now, he had let him down.
spank/
"I'm sorry, Kook," Jimin choked out, his voice shaking with emotion. "I didn't mean to disappoint you."
spank/
"That's it! You're doing amazing,"
spank/
Jungkook beamed with pride. "See, Jimin? I knew you could do it.
spank/
"Are you going to be good for me from now on, asked jungkook, gently massaging over the clothed ass.
When the last spank was done, Jungkook said "I want you to show me that you're committed to changing your ways. No more drinking and smoking. No more pushing people away. And I want you to be honest with me—about your feelings, about what you're going through. No more keeping things bottled up." And if you are going to do the opposite then maybe I will stop seeing you forever.
He pulled jimin up and held him in his lap carefully as something very fragile. The room fell into a comfortable silence, the soft sounds of just silent apartment's providing background noise. Jungkook's hand continued to stroke Jimin's hair, and without thinking, he leaned down to place a gentle kiss on Jimin's forehead.
"look at me" said jungkook lifting jimin face by his finger on his chin. Jimin's eyes fluttered open teary eyed.
Jimin took a deep breath and panted, feeling the weight of Jungkook's expectations. He knew it wouldn't be easy, but he was willing to try. o am so hiccup*sor- sorry, "Okay, I'll do it. I'll stop the unhealthy habits, and I'll be honest with you."
Time seemed to slow down as they stayed in that embrace, feeling a sense of warmth and belonging in each other's company.
Jungkook nodded, his expression softening just a bit. "Good. But that's not all. You also need to understand the impact of your actions on others. Your self-destructive behavior doesn't just hurt you; it hurts the people who care about you too."
Jimin's eyes glistened with tears, and he nodded earnestly. "I know, Kook. I'm so sorry for what I put you through. I never wanted to hurt you and I will apologize to everyone.
Jungkook reached out and gently wiped away a tear from Jimin's cheek. "I believe you, Jimin. But actions speak louder than words. I need to see that you're serious about changing."
As the night wore on, Jimin eventually dozed off, still cradled in Jungkook's lap.
Jungkook looked at jimin cradled in his lap, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "I will be there , Jimin. I'll be here for you every step of the way. But I promise you, if you're willing to try, I'll be right there beside you."
Jungkook squeezed Jimin's waist reassuringly. "I could never give up on you, Jimin. You mean too much to me."
Jungkook picked up the dozed off jimin in bridal style, jimin nuzzled into Jungkook's neck. Jungkook set him on the bed and put the duvet over him, gently pushing the strand of hair from Jimin's face behind his ear and kissed his forehead saying, 'good night angel'
