Shawn jolted up in a panic with little patches of sweat on his face, he sat straight up an looked around the room before whipping his face to remove the uncomfortable bodily fluid.
He soon locked his eyes onto the other body laying down next to him tossing an turning around into the blankets as he started to wake up. Dave's deep Brown eyes looked into the glossy coal-black ones staring back at his, the other looked tense, like they had been pulled out of the most terrific Dream. Dave rubbed his eyes to get rid of the blur of just waking up and to get a better focus on Shawn.
"Shawn" Dave said in a sluggish low-toned voice.
"Hm?" Shawn hummed in response.
"What's wrong, dude?" Dave said in concern, he really was concerned for him, He hardly ever see's Shawn freaked out.
"It's nothing, just woke up,, that's all" Shawn shrugged as he gave a nervous smile.
"Shawn." Dave said in seriousness.
"What's wrong?"
"It's just stupid, lets just go back to sleep" Shawn rushed out laying back down facing away from the other boy.
Dave shuffled closer determent to get an answer from him, sure he may be being annoying about it but he's just concerned, he's allowed to be concerned for his partner's health an safety.
"Please just tell me" Dave insisted.
Shawn rolled over an stared at the other in hesitation not sure of what to say.
"It was a nightmare.." Shawn mumbled feeling embarrassed.
"Wait what? a nightmare?" Dave replied in a semi-judgmental tone, a nightmare? really? this seemed like a foolish reason to be scared to him, though he has had his fair share of night terrors but he was never this scared of them that it had prevented sleep. he knew dreams were JUST dreams an understood that dreams an terrors never meant anything, so it never bothered him as much.
"see! it sounds dumb, just forget I said anything an go to sleep" Shawn said getting obviously upset at the others reaction.
Dave frowned at the others mood an threaded his arm under Shawn's an grabbed him.
"what,, what was it about?"
Shawn sighed not wanting to talk about it anymore, he already feels as if he made a fool out of himself.
but he knew Dave would not leave it alone.
He turned around once again to face the other.
"It was.. the apocalypse started an well,, you got, eaten?" Shawn said cringing at his own words, he hated talking about this type of stuff with anyone.
Dave shuffled closer an pressed his forehead against Shawn's an closed his eyes, feeling the others pierce into his.
"Shawn, I can promise you that will NEVER happen" Dave replied, because that would never in a million years happen, he always found this phobia of thee undead silly an he never understood it, but if he had to play along just to make the other feel better than what choice did he really have?
Dave dozed off as he felt Shawn press his head against his harder.
