Chapter 1: Beginning
Chapter Text
7 looked down as his dad was fighting his enemies. “Come on F!”, one of them yelled, “I thought we were past this!”
”It’s Felix to you!”, his dad shouted back. Yes, his dad’s new name was Felix. It’s what his new ‘boss’ called him though he never did talk about his job much… A pink blur crashed into Felix sending him tumbling. He stood up and yelled, “Polly!” ‘Polly’ turned around and looked at him.
She cried out, “Come on F fight it!” 7 was confused. Fight what?
Felix huffed, “Never.”
A sleek sounding voice replied, “Then we have no choice then to take your son.” 7 pulled away, take him? What did that mean?
His father shouted in rage, “DON’T YOU TOUCH HIM!” He leaped at the source of the voice his teeth showing. 7 ran away; he didn’t need to see anymore of this.
…
It had been a few hours since that fight had begun and 7 sat hidden underneath his bed. “7? 7?”
7 called out, “Under here dad!” His dad’s face appeared in front of him. It had been weeks since he had gotten the ‘procedure’ but he still looked unrecognisable to 7. 7 got out from the dark and tight space and his father hugged him.
He whispered, “Oh my son my beautiful son… I’m so glad they haven’t taken you away from me yet.” Yet? They were still after him? 7 gulped; his dad noticed and hugged him tighter. “I’m not letting them take you 7. Not ever.”, he vowed. 7 hugged his father back; he hoped that was true because he didn’t want to be away from his dad. Felix let go and got back up. “Now it’s time for your new name son.” Seven nodded quietly. He hoped he wouldn’t have to stay there for too long.

Chapter Text
He looked at his new hands. They were...fleshy. And weird. He didn't like this 'weird' feeling. The doctor- as his dad had called him- told him it was merely because of the surgery but it still felt wrong to him.
He looked up at the mirror. He didn't recognise the dark haired, black eyed, teenager as himself. He wore a simple black vest- old clothes from Dad- with grey shorts, white socks paired with brown shoes. If he didn't know any better, he would think he was a younger version of his dad. The only real distinction between them was the well-combed hair...Sven had.
Sven. That was his new name now. The one those strange people had given him when they had...transformed him. To be honest, it felt he was playing a role for a play where he was wearing a mask and had to play the part.
Sven honestly missed his old name: Seven. A quite mundane name but...
He still missed it.
His dad had been so proud of him though and...Sven wouldn't trade that for the world.
Speaking of his dad, he had been acting so...strange lately. It worried Sven. Worried him a lot. There had been...instances when he would act off like he had just woken up from a really bad dream but then dozed off again. It was terrifying.
Just last night, when Sven went down to get some milk to drink, he had found his father standing in front of the cave entrance muttering: "Nonononono....they betrayed you...they betrayed you not the other way around..." He had been digging his nails into his bare arms, digging in so viciously that he drew blood.
That night, Sven decided to drink and eat upstairs.
It had been...a frightening experience for Sven but-
KABOOM!
The ground shook and Sven nearly fell on his butt trying to maintain his balance but he succeeded in keeping his feet grounded. He looked out of the cave's maw and-
They were here.

So sorry I haven't uploaded in a while. I just got caught up in other fanfics and...I hope this chapter makes up for it.
Chapter 3: The Truth
Summary:
Both Sven and Felix learn the truth.
Chapter Text
The explosion burst through the entrance of the cave in an instant. Team LMNOP came swarming in, their leader- Leo- searching with his eyes for any potential threats. "Alright, coast is clear.", he confirmed.
Marcus nodded stoically. "So, what's the game plan?" He spoke gruffly, a testament to his tough exterior. Leo opened his mouth to speak but Nathan beat him to it.
"I'll deal with Felix. The rest of you, see if there are any survivors and get them out of here."
Ollie teasingly dug his shoulder into Nathan's side. "Since when were you a leader Nathan?", he asked light-heartedly. Nathan's eyes darkened.
"Since the day I learnt not to be a coward." Everyone nodded grimly. Their lives had been irrevocably changed ever since the F.O.A.Y had claimed their land. Their bodies had been mutilated and their spirits beaten down. Now, it was time for the F.O.A.Y to pay. They all wished each other good luck before going their separate ways. Everyone was in a pair.
Everyone except Nathan, who was heading to the very top to save his friend.
Sven's knees were tucked close to his chest, his lips wobbling and his body shaking, his father grabbed one of those...weird portal gun things. He looked at Sven and the former number nearly flinched at seeing the anger in his father's eyes. "Sven," his father said- voice tight, "I'm sending you someplace else. Somewhere they won't find you." Sven's eyes could've popped out of his sockets.
"I don't want to leave!", he protested. If he was someplace else, he wouldn't be with his dad.
His dad sighed, "Sven-"
"I don't want to leave!", he protested hysterically- stepping back. How could his father do this?
"Felix!" Sven turned.
An ginger with a golden bracelet (it had an orange jewel embedded in it) stood in a brave stance as he glared at Sven's father. "Felix.", he spoke- his voice like thunder.
"Nathan.", his father replied- mimicking the darkness in 'Nathan''s voice. His father put Sven behind him, shielding him from this mysterious person. "You here to 'save' my son? Sorry- newsflash- Sven's quite happy with me."
Brown eyes widened. "He's your- Never mind, I'm not trying to save him. I'm trying to save you! From yourself..."
"Lies!", his father roared, "You hated me! All of you! You were too much of a coward to stand up for me and now that I have a better life, you want to take it from me!"
"That's not true!", cried out another unfamiliar voice. Sven's eyes locked onto the pink blur that revealed itself to be a woman in a pink dress with her hair in a bun. "You really don't remember?"
Her father gave her...a weird look. "What?"
She sighed, "Leo and Oliver weren't exactly the best and we're sorry for that. But don't you remember?" She took a step forward.
"They made up for what they did! They changed, you forgave them and we all became friends!" It was as if the whole world had gone still. Sven's father stared at her, all the hatred on his face gone replaced with...curiosity. Sven felt a strange feeling in his stomach. What was going on?!
'Pink'- as Sven rightfully dubbed her- kept on speaking, a nostalgic look in her eyes. "We all had so much fun together...Things were actually peaceful for a while but then..."
Nathan's voice caught in his throat. "We...lost you." Pink nodded solemnly and Nathan took the risk of stepping forward. "We searched everywhere for you- once we were free that is. When we found you...you just- you weren't the same anymore." He sniffled, and Sven noticed tears shining in Pink's eyes. "We all love you very much, even Leo and Oliver, though they don't show it much, they still care and I care too. I love you Felix, I love you so much."
Felix sobbed (when had his dad started crying?), "I- I love you too guys. How- how could I have forgotten all of that?"
Pink went over and shook her head. "Don't blame yourself. It was the surgery. It- changes you. Messes with your memories so that he can use you to get what he wants."
His father's face hardened. "Urah?! That son of a-"
Nathan interrupted him, "You can curse his name later. Right now- we need to go!" Felix nodded.
"Right, right..." Felix knelt down to his son's level. "Sven- honey- your father's made a huge mistake. We need to go with Polly and Nathan- okay?" Sven nodded.
"Okay-"
KABOOM!
