A few months after their last meeting, Kyouka and Kenji meet again, this time at Yokohama High, their school. They had a few playdates after their first meeting, but Kenji abruptly had to end them, due to family issues.
Right as Kyouka is about to walk into said school, she sees Kenji looking at her from the field, waving. She waves back, putting a small smile on her face towards the other. She's quite happy to see that he's alright, after months of not seeing him. She sees him tell his friends he's going somewhere, and he begins heading towards her.
"Hey, Kyouka! How are you doing?" She hears him yell, still a bit far away.
"I'm doing alright, thank you. How about you?" She looks up at the slightly taller boy, who has a huge smile on his face. "I'm doing great! I'm so excited to see you here. It's been a bit since we've seen each other. Would you like to meet some of my friends? They're right over here!" He begins walking towards them, until Kyouka pulls on his wrist.
"I need to go to the Headmistress's office." She looks at him with a disappointed expression. "I'm sorry. Maybe another time." She adds. She'd like to meet them, but she knows what would happen if she didn't go now.
"Oh no, don't worry! Can I get your phone number? I'd like to hangout again sometime soon! Or maybe we'll even have sleepovers! That would be so fun, wouldn't it?" He says, beginning to ramble before Kyouka stops him. "Yeah, it would. I'd like that a lot. Here's my number, please text me." After she hands him the slip of paper, she goes off to go into the school. Kenji waves at her, skipping back towards his friends.

Kyouka didn't end up seeing Kenji in any of her classes for the school year, which leaves her quite disappointed at the end of the day. She was hoping to see the boy at least once. But, once she gets to her home off of the bus, she sees a text message from Kenji.
Miyazawa Kenji
Hey! Want to hangout today? I already have a spot ready and everything.
Kyouka
Yeah, sure. Where at?
Miyazawa Kenji
You'll see!
Once Kyouka gives him her address, not questioning the "You'll see" text message, she begins getting ready. She ends up settling for a simple dress and her signature pigtails. She waits for about 20 minutes afterwards, doing her make-up to past time. Once Kenji arrives, they set off towards their destination, which is a nearby flower field as Kenji told her.
They see multiple stands along the way, one being an icecream stand, and a few more, but the crepe stand catches Kenji's eye."Hey, want to get crepes? They have some really good ones around here!" And as soon as Kyouka heard the word crepes, her eyes shined and she agreed immediately. She pulls him towards the crepe stand, tells him which one she'd like, and then they continue walking to the huge giant flower field ahead.
"Anddd.. here we are! Isn't it cool?" Kenji leans down to pick up one of the flowers, coming back up to see Kyouka completely mesmerized. "Woah..." He hears her say, sounding more like it was to herself.
They walk more into the field, still eating their crepes. Once they reach a good spot with a tree right by it for shade, they stay there, hands together, until the sun sets and their crepes are long finished, staring at the beautiful sunset.
And for days after, it becomes tradition. They go to the same flower field everyday with crepes, and play around until the sun sets. Sometimes, they even have sleepovers. They are both just glad to be with each other, and that's all that matters. And even when they end up growing up and finding new friends, they still keep the same tradition. It never changes.
