Sarah walks into Kate’s life when everything is rotten. Fresh out of University Sarah is a breath of fresh air, long brown hair, dark but gentle eyes and a tan skin that Kate could only dream of. Her car, of course, is a piece of shit, so much so that Kate’s been trying to get someone to come and help her when it’s stalled out. Sarah, strong muscles and taut stomach, is everything she could want in a woman, so when Sarah fixes the car, it settles it. She admits she’s taking a road trip, had been anyway, when the car broke down, heading for Mexico for a while.
Sarah, quiet as ever, looks her over. The girl is sweet, peaches and cream and full of soft curves that she can’t help wondering what it’d feel like to hold close. There’s some muscle there, enough so that Sarah’s sure had the car not been a piece of junk the girl would have been fine alone. Still, the chance meeting has Sarah considering things.
“You want to maybe try riding with me instead? Might get your road trip working a little better?”
The offer is light, well meant and Kate flushes even as she nods. She follows Sarah a while before the car breaks down the next day, refusing to start even when Sarah flushes the system, fixing it. The sudden closeness has Kate’s blush higher than ever and Sarah steals a glance or two as they drive.
“Why so blushy?”
“You are… incredible… and I…”
“You… my little sunbeam… are the sweetest.”
Sarah cuts her off before she can falter any more and Kate smiles slightly, biting her lower lip. She hadn’t meant to come home from Mexico with a lover, but she’d never say no to a woman like Sarah.
