Nick goes downstairs and grabs cookie making supplies when he hears a soft creak from the stairs. "Abi?" He says looking at the stairs. "Mhm" Abi hums. "Jesus hun you need to sleep." He says guiding her to the kitchen. "I can't sleep without you" Abi says rubbing her eyes."can I help you bake?" Abi asks while Nick mixes the cookie batter. He nods and sets out a pan with tin foil on it and starts rolling the dough into balls, abi does the same. "Did you have a nightmare love?" He asks her quietly. Abi nods her head slowly. "Well it's alright now okay?" He reassures her. "I miss Emma." Abi says sniffling.Nick puts the dough in the oven. "It's okay love we'll see her again soon." He says walking away from the oven to give her a hug.She hugs him back and gives him a kiss. "I am so tired" Nick says yawning. Abi yawns after him. "Yawning is contagious Nick." Abi jokes.Nick laughs quietly.Abi starts to snore quietly and that's when Nick realizes that she's asleep.He laughs quietly and scoops her up in his arms and carries her like she's a baby upstairs to their room. That's when he hears the timer for the cookies go off.He smiles to himself and goes downstairs and turns off the oven And grabs the cookies. Then he goes upstairs and falls asleep next to his girlfriend. And all he dreams about is how good the cookies that were made at three am are gonna taste.
