Obi-Wan knew attachments were forbidden. He learnt it the hard way when he was young and kept learning it when he was older. Anakin was the one to teach him.
„Anakin is the father?”
He knows the answer, but still dares to ask The Question. Just to be sure. Just to hear it for himself.
Obi-Wan had an attachment, and deep inside the knew about it. He tried to silence it.
Volunteer for missions far away from Skywalker.
‘Destroy the Sith, we must.” Master Yoda speaks words that Kenobi will remember till the end of his days.
“Send me to kill the Emperor, I will not kill Anakin.” Please, let me die from the hands of a Sith Lord, but don’t make me kill him.
“To fight this Lord Sidious, strong enough you are not.”
Obi-Wan knows that. He is left with no choice.
“He is like my brother. I cannot do it.”
Pain. Rage. Sadness. Hatered. More pain.
“You were my brother, Anakin. I loved you.” I still love you. Why you made me do this.
He was lying, looking at Anakin’s son. Master Kenobi had an attachment, and he did not know how to let go of it.
