FNAF VR- The Secret Location

Summary:

Embark on a heart-pounding journey with Dalton, a seemingly ordinary gamer who finds himself plunged into a virtual reality beyond his wildest imagination. What started as a seemingly harmless gift of a game, a creation by his own parents, unfolds into a nightmarish adventure where survival is the ultimate prize. Trapped within the immersive VR world, Dalton is faced with a chilling reality: trust is a precious commodity, and alliances can crumble as easily as lines of code.

Step into a universe where the immensely popular Five Nights at Freddy's franchise evolves from screen to a fully immersive VR experience. But as the lines between the real and the virtual blur, Dalton is thrust into a tangled web of mystery and danger. As the creators of the game start disappearing, leaving behind a trail that points to the franchise's eerie origins, Dalton realizes he must unravel the truth to escape the digital abyss.

Notes:

I wanted to let you know that this will be a very slow-written story, it originally started as an idea for a movie, and I started to write it a little bit after Vanny was revealed in fnaf VR, however after Scott's announcement and security breach coming out I am finally feeling ready to publish the story in the form of a book.

also, I moved here from Wattpad XD so my writing will be kinda cring

Chapter 1: Voided Reality

Chapter Text

It started like every regular day, he and his wife left for work early, leaving their teenage son at home. he was old enough to be alone for a day or two.

he sighed as he drove on the highway, lately, his boss had been pushing more and more on the team to finish the game, it was still in testing, and each game tester who played the game never returned. that was an issue since they needed the feedback.

He parked the car in his regular spot and went into the parking lot with his wife behind him, looking up at the tall building. the name “Fazbear Entertainment” was slapped with large letters on it, walking inside he kindly greeted the security sitting. He and his wife showed their budges which gave them access to the elevators on the left, which were for workers only.

In the office, the place has been in chaos, as usual, his wife separated from him since she was part of the marketing team, and he on the other way was on his way to test the game.

Entering the dark room he saw the headset next to the computer with the game open. the screen flashed the title, “FNAF VR- The secret location” with the face of a hologram-like Freddy, he set down and put the headset on, starting the game.

At first, things went as normal, they were testing a new way to deliver information, a new character named Scotte, the owner will be working with you, that way the game will be easier.

“so far with no bugs,” but things were different very soon. on the second night, he heard something, it sounded like fade-out steps, like someone was walking at the back of his mind, he froze trying to understand where that sound was from. Looking around he figured it must be one of the sound effects given to the robots, but looking back at the cameras they were all frozen.

Then the phone rang, there was an office phone, but it only meant to go off when Scott wasn't active, the ringing seemed to go louder and louder, and he started to hear a whisper telling him to pick it up.

“Hello?”

no answer.

“Hello?”

this time he heard something, heavy breathing,

“behind you”

The man turned around, and there was a missing texture glitch on one of the boxes, forgetting he was in a game he stepped forward, the whisper was stronger, and the sound of static filled his mind.

Darkness, he was floating in darkness.

how long was here in here, an hour? a day? it feels so little and yet also like it has been here for years.

then he saw a figure, running to ward it it started to take a form, no, no no no, it was his wife, or, war it?

she turned to look at him as he ran closer, a face of terror as she looked behind him.

game over
