that was the moment everything changed.
childe? GUILTY?!?
naturally Lumine couldn’t accept it.
he was not guilty!
lumine would have helped him fight off the guardomeks if it weren’t for her state of shock. She just stood there.
Trying to comprehend it.
“He’s activating his foul legacy!” Paimon shouted.
Lumine snapped out of the trance she was in, and watched childe get stopped by neuvillete.
childe was soon after brought to jail.
yikes!

”..” Lumine was pretty silent for a few minutes.
”paimon thinks we should leave now..”
”..right.” Lumine agreed.

the walk back to navias house was quiet. Lumine was lost in thought, and paimon was just worried about her and decided not to say anything.

When they got there, they decided to call it a night. Or.. everyone except Lumine.
”good night everyone.” Navia said.
and everyone went to sleep.

but Lumine snuck out of the house to do some “planning.”
how could she break him out.. wait what.
was she.. really.. trying to break a harbinger out of jail?! Well.. it was a special case because their friends but..
Should she really going to do that?..

yeah. She was.
she spent the night coming up with a plan.
she could set distractions (probably explosives) somewhere in a part of town where it wouldn’t cause too much destruction. It could distract the guards and that’s when she sneaks in. She gets the keys, and quickly busts him out. Can’t be too hard.. right?

the next day, (she didn’t exactly sleep last night) Lumine told nobody anything about her plans.
because what would paimon think? And she would lose her great reputation in Fontaine if she told anyone else!
..but she needed help for her plan. It was necessary..

”Lyney!” She called out.
he turned around.
”hey traveler.”
”heyyyy Lyney i uhh need some help with something..”
“what is it?”
”well uh.. I need you to set these explosives up by the entrance of the city.. and then activate them at about.. 16:00.”
”..what.”
”uhh.. please?”
”..why the heck do you want me to set up explosives?”
”i-its a secret.”
”..uh..”
”just this once! Pleeeeeaaaaase!”
”..okay. Fine.”
”thank you so much..”

that night was a mess.
at the designated time, Lyney set off the explosives.
Lumine was hiding near the prison.
BOOM!
suddenly the guards rushed out of the prison.
everything was going smoothly.
so far..
Lumine quickly snuck into the building.
tap. Tap.
Childe heard footsteps.
Lumine slowly inched closer. She grabbed the keys.
Tap. Tap.
The footsteps were getting closer to him.
childe turned around.
click.
the cell was.. unlocked?
the door opened..

traveler?
”..uh.. what are you doing here?” He whispered.
”I’m breaking you out!” Lumine whispered back.
”..why?”
”right now is not the time to ask questions! We only have a certain amount of time until they get back..”
”fair enough.”
Lumine closed the cell and locked it behind them.
she put the keys back.
they slowly and quietly left the building.

Lumine saw guards coming back.
she quickly gestured to the alleyway.

they quickly got out of the area.
“alright.. you have some explaining to do.”
”well uhh..” Lumine looked a bit embarrassed.
“I kinda just.. felt like it.”
”come on there had to be a reason for this, what if we got caught?”
”then uh.. oh well.”
”..”
”this is awkward.”
”yeah it kind of is.”
“…”
”oh here’s your vision.”
Lumine hand Childes vision back to him.
”thanks.”
“Alright. Well.. tell nobody about this please.”
”I won’t. Your secret is safe with me, girlie.”
