You could feel Ricky's eyes on you as you ate a lollipop while watching TV. Try as you might to pay no attention to it, you can't help but look over towards the blond boy.
"Yes?" You ask him, tilting your head slightly, taking the lollipop out of your mouth.
"What?" He asks, snapping out of the daze he was in.
"You were staring." You say, smirking a bit watching as a red hue overtakes his cheeks.
"Oh, sorry." He says to you, turning his attention back to the TV.
He'd never admit that he had a crush on his band mate's little sister. He'd also never admit that you sucking on a lollipop makes his stomach flip. He knows it shouldn't, he knows he should see you as a sister too just like the rest of his members, but the more time he spends with you around just makes him like you more and more.
"Hey, buddy, you're staring again." You say, pulling him from his thoughts once more.
You see his eyes widen a little as he covers his face with his hand. "God, I'm sorry." He says, looking down a bit.
"I don't know why he's getting the apology and not me." You say sarcastically. Ricky loves that about you, he thinks it's cute, sometimes annoying, but mostly cute.
"You know what I mean." Ricky says to you, smiling and chuckling under his breath.
You'd never admit that his laugh makes your heart swell or that talking with him was your favorite part of visiting your brother at his dorm. You'd also never admit that you've had a huge crush on Ricky since he became a trainee at Yuehua. At least, not today.
"Well, I'm gonna get going." You say, smiling and starting to get up.
"Um, wait." He says, grabbing your wrist before you can get up. "Don't you want to finish this episode?" He continues, softly.
"Nah, it's alright, I've seen it before." You say trying to leave before you do something that will ruin your friendship or Ricky's career at that.
With his hand still on your wrist he scoots closer to you on the couch. He doesn't know what the hell he's doing but he knows he doesn't want to wait anymore.
"I like you." He says, staying close to you.
You have to take a second to process what he just said, staying silent a bit longer than you should've. Well, maybe it will happen today.
"I do too, I like you too." You whisper quietly, almost afraid to admit it in case this was a prank, but you know Ricky would never play with your feelings like that.
You could see him let out a sigh of relief. His smile only growing wider as you sit there in silence.
"Uh, can I?" He asks you quietly, leaning in.
You nod your head as he closes the gap between your lips. Heaven, it felt like heaven.
